I agree that something seems to be clicking in terms of Williamson style of play, we just need someone to bag consistently. Georgie Kelly was class when he came on, won headers and the touch from the long ball when they got the man sent off was unreal. Hope he can kick on, injury free he could be the player we’re looking for. If you look at last season and previous games he’s played this season , there’s been no midfield. A team not playing garbage round him could be very very good - just the injury thing, fingers crossed over the worst of it
I thought Kelly was brilliant when he came on. Changed the game and was a nuisance for Doncaster’s defence. If he stays fit I can see him being a great player for us
I would play Ellis from the start and put Burey further forward where he is best, not really a defender. Apart from that pretty good, just hope Kelly does the business when fit.
I thought Harper looked really good today (the sort of performance that I thought Robson was going to do this season ) I like a left footed central midfielder Breeze is getting better and better when the lad makes a mistake (and he will) let’s not crucify him
Should of Won Today ! Really took the Match to them in the 1st Half and should of Scored from the 7/8 passes When the Dhot Ballooned Over the Bar ! The Player who got booked in That half should of been sent off for his Assault on Mellish . 2nd half more equal But why was Our Goal disallowed ?? Looked Very Close to me ?? Bring on Crewe next W/end .. 😊😊😊

Never thought about the left footed aspect. Perhaps that's why charters wasn't even in the squad today as that is his usual role
