I felt very thankful towards TGR for showing that Classified cutscene. Everyone was trying to reach even round 100 knowing they’d crash, just hoping to find that cutscene. Sure, it’s not fair, the way it had to be obtained, but it’s even more unfair that it was unobtainable in the first place.

honestly a lot of these never really bothered me. Especially the Classified one. I remembered most of the community having a positive reaction because we just wanted to see the cutscene and with it just being round 150, there wasn't really a hunt that was ruined.
The CoD Zombies community's passion for keeping the discovery of in-game secrets organic and fair for every member is really nice to see. Especially such a popular series in an age where every other game gets data mined and spoiled an hour after it comes out
Its not organic revelations needed data mining and most cod zombies ee steps were data mined because of the fucking obseredness of them. Very much like destinys ARGs only the top 1% actually get to enjoy any of the hunting and the vast I mean vast majority of players don't. They wait for the step by step guides to come out and follow those because beating your head into a wall (literally) trying to find x thing isn't what most people do for fun. Once you do the steps a few times its not bad but if you don't know music sheets how are you supposed to upgrade the lighting staff in origins without looking something up and if you've made it to google you might as well get the guide for everything and not waste time.
using an in game exploit or glitch is not cheating, especially when no attempt was made to hide it

I just started my interest in this community but it just seems toxic. So what if someone modified their game or cheesed their way? So what if they talked over the easter egg cutscene? It’s their game and their decision. Good to know the community is like this
Every community has it's bad days. Easter Egg hunts just happen to be that bad day sometimes, but the larger zombies community is really chill. There's a lot of charity events and the people who are still around are just here for a good time.

This is one of the most toxic communities on the internet. But what can you expect? It’s a bunch of people obsessing over finding the steps to a 2-3 hour quest on a game that gives you zero hints for the reward of a cutscene. Generally speaking, that’s bound to bring in a bit of a toxic gaming community.

I did my first Classified 150 attempts last year, and I still ran into crashing issues (I ended up doing it legit after putting 60ish hrs into it). Also, I played BO4 at launch so I can totally understand why the Classified 150 was cheated. Honestly, I don't really blame them.
I would say ee hunt that only 0.00001 of the community care because no one likes try to find zombie ee by try and error for 1 week 24 hour with friends people just wanna do it. And If you don’t wanna don’t watch it. I personally don’t understand the ‘’first’’ thing on easter egg.
Im normally not the type to comment unrelated to the video, but i gotta thank ya for keeping me interested in COD zombies. Just spent 2 hours on Black Ops 2 after 7ish years away. Was the most easy going hours of the year, and am really gonna lose time playing more. Again, thanks for the consistent uploads, without youd im sure id have forgotten how much i loved these games

Most of these aren't able to be put under the cheating category. it doesn't fit all of these were due to the games glitches and crashing. The devs are the ones who are to blame not the people who used the exploits
I would argue being told the steps before you know them is the same as cheating. It's like taking a test and having a friend whisper you the answers. So how come that was okay but Glitching Queen was the issue?

I agree. people just hated Glitching Queen for whatever reason at the time. She started to get some heat back during the Zombies Chronicles days because she released the steps to Samantha Says on Shangri La when the map was released to PC. so many people thought she cheated for it. so I guess many people couldn't trust her. flash forward to DOTN, people will just automatically blame her even though MrRolfWaffles is totally in the wrong here.

If there is a mechanic in the game, then it's not cheating if something is put in the game by the developers, it's not cheating, if something is there that will help, that person solve the Easter egg, who's to say they can't use it? It's like getting perkaholic on round 1, that could be classed as cheating because you have something before youre supposed to get it, but it's not cheating because it's a mechanic put in the game by the developers, if they was using mods like God mode, or something like that, then yes that's cheating but using something put in the game by DEVELOPER'S, is not cheating
BO4 really made me hate this community, ngl.
I remember guys like MrRolfWaffles complaining that Treyarch never invited him and others to any events as if they didn't make content using the QA tester's leaks. this was way before people hated the game like they do now, by the way. Everyone in the community sucked and I kinda hate that people forgot and moved on. showed the true colors of many youtubers. I'm glad guys like you, Chrismm, Marsh, etc. exist lol.
As far as im concerened, none of this is really cheating aside from the Dead of the Night situation. If the devs didn't want people abusing these glitches then they should've fixed them before the DLC was released. And anyone who didn't consider using these exploits to be legit was free to play the game without them and claim the legitimate First in the World with no exploits.
If I were in Glitching Queen's situation with the Dead of the Night EE, I absolutely would've posted the cutscene if I found out that the team on track to finish it first was cheating and being fed all of the steps. Especially if they were talking shit on TGR for cheating only a few months prior.
the only one that is valid is the dotn ee. none of the other ones were cheating, they were using what they had whether morally correct or not.
and i dont think glitching queen is in the wrong at all and shouldntve even been a part of that drama at all. the ppl who leaked the steps tho are actual losers.
I think it's respectable that she understood her completion won't be seen as legit or morally correct and did not claim the worlds first completion title. The moment you see someone else receiving a literal guide in a stream the magic is gone anyway and then decide to upload seems fine.
the only reason she is in the wrong is because well... she also knew the steps somehow lol. but, I also do agree, shes like the anti hero here. she did wrong but she was willing to get some heat to stop the leakers and MrRolfWaffles lol.

The way i see it, the first three arent that bad. Anyone can get and do the infinite undead man walking gobble gum glitch, and its not like you cant still fuck up on gorod. what with the mangler, valkery, fire, and that bomb step. The classified cutscene was never going to be seen at that time because no one could get to round 150 legit, so least that way we get our story cutscene. and the fortune card is mostly on the devs, and im sure the insta kill mechanics could still kill even with cracked health regen.
But the leaker and all that is 100% shitty. because now people know what to do for x, y, z when people should still be bumbling their way through

it is in a world's first race where everyone else is playing entirely legit. i also don't know how using datamined information is legit or a glitch making a gobblegum last forever

I was actually one of the people who discovered the walking glitch. We would just use it in our private games and the we used it with someone, who ended up being one of the people that used it doing the gorod ee

Bug exploits aren't cheating.
I still remember The London Project cheated in his high round runs and accidentally showed his cheats on stream. He still has some records up on ZWR, I asked a moderator why they were kept up and he said they had no evidence for the other runs being cheated. Still makes no sense to me, he clearly was cheating in his runs all should be removed. They wouldn’t know which is cheated so as a moderator I would remove that shit.
the community is maybe a bit too sensitive sometimes, like the Mephistopheles first in the world guy really shouldn't have been put through all that hate, he used something that the game gave him, yes it might have been a glitch, but it's not his fault for using it, especially since its not a glitch you go out of your way to perform, but it's instead bound to a mistake in coding a f&f card, also TGR just did what had to be done, for what we knew at the time the game could've been stuck in that crashy state for ever and we may have not been able to have the cut scene ever if it wasn't for those glitches, even the video states that the stability issues hadn't been solved for another whole ass month and a half, regarding dead of the night i do agree with the fact that they were all in the wrong there, milo and his friends should have banned the guy from chat after the first couple steps and be content with the help they've been given already and if anyone wanted to solve the ee via glitches they should've done it offline and kept the cut scene to themselves, the only one not in the wrong imo is the treyarch tester, im sure he's done what he's done with the good intentions of just wanting to help a friend that ended up betraying their trust and leaking the information
These are some of the biggest nothingburgers imaginable.
beat the origins easter egg, but you have to end on around 160, and can only do 1 step every 20 rounds (it cant be 139 or 141, it has to be exactly round 160 that it ends on)
step 1 has to be finished round 20
step 2 has to be finished round 40
and so on, the steps cannot end any round before or after the set rounds (exactly 20 rounds apart)
I'm not sure you would get along well with the speedrunning community. Being able to use the tools provided to you in-game is often praised and supported for finding the most efficient approach possible, so I would not call any of the users who did that in this cheating.
A separate category for not using certain tools is just as respected.
This video is strictly world's first completions because it's a big moment for the community. Glitches in speedruns are absolutely dank and the reason the zombies speedrunning scene is thriving

The zombies’ community seems just so damn cringey after this vid we are really crying over methods of getting a stupid cutscene faster. I don’t care if someone leaked that if you punch a random skeleton on revelations you’ll recieve documents of Richtofen being convicted of tax fraud or if you shoot 3 space rocks on tranzit you’ll see thanos twerking in the bus and gives you a snickers. The First GK EE was not cheating, just using big brain and manipulating a broken mechanic in the game at the time.

So I'm not afraid to admit. That I spent four years of my life figuring out a way to breach out of the beginning room in tranzit, So that none of the doors are open so the bus never moves. This allowed me to bypass the hunk error. I'm on 174 right now. Xbox series X May 4th 2023.

I actually believe GQ is more in the morally right(not saying she’s entirely in the right but I believe she did it as stated for a good reason). She probably learned the steps from other streamers and found the other steps using a similar glitch but she was respectful enough to try and wait for a legitimate person to do it but when she learned this friend of the QA tester (who I’m surprised both people were never sued by Activison) took their anger out by doing this. She beat them and basically stole “their spotlight”
and yes Milo was definitely wrong, he’s a very iffy YT all his clickbait and just stupid videos he posted throughout BO3&4 that I remember seeing in my recommended. Not only should’ve Milos team not listened to the guy but the mods of their streams should’ve banned him and players should’ve taken to other streamers warning them too. In general this was handled very poorly and everyone fucked up

Honestly, the first one I don't see too much of a problem with. It's not like this is a speedrun or a competition so that there are rules to break really. It was just people trying to complete the easter egg for the first time. I could understand it if it was done using actual cheat software or cheating at all, but using a glitch I would not consider "cheating" at all, especially when how much glitches are abused normally in COD Zombies anyway for things. This is just a stretch

I know this is a hot take but when it's a glitch I don't consider that cheating in PVE ANYTHING. It's cheating to me if they open up console commands and click kill all or enable invincibility through a mod or a hack but if it's a glitch and the game developers refuse to fix I consider that a feature of the game cuz usually you got to go out of your way and learn how to do it within the game I consider that a feature to be exploited by the players. And people getting mad over that is petty I'm just saying have a great day

I don't see what's wrong with the first 2. If your doing an Easter Egg, you need to use every thing the devs put in, intentional or not, it's a PvE game mode.

Don’t get me wrong the hell hounds are one thing but the health is to over powered. I can see way the hell hounds can be fun for a Challange but not for the Easter egg
tbh i dont have an issue with people cheating in singleplayer games because it doesnt affect other people. however i dont agree with them using glitches/exploits/cheats to ruin the "worlds first" challenge easter eggs for other people. imo if someone is cheating offline by themselves in a zombies game thats perfectly fine, but if no one has done it yet then dont record it and ruin the experience for others.

I don't know much about the pre-BO3 EE hunts and the others had their issues, but I just wanted to talk about this one specifically because it was interesting.
@@RushinGG Well if you're interested, for Moon's EE a whole tutorial came out at the same time as the map. It is believed to be a disgruntled employee as it looked a lot like the instructions on how to do every steps in the same way we can see in the previous' maps source code. NTG (not NGT) is believed to used that as he was the first to complete the main quest.
For BO2, PTG paid a tester 2 grands to have every steps in advance. It allowed them to make a very well made tutorial ready to come out as soon as the quest was finished legitimately by someone.
For Cold War and Vanguard people literally had access to the DLC days in advance and will continue to have on future game as long as the maps come at the same time on PC and consoles
It’s not the crashing for black ops 4 I hate it’s the entire game story line. It makes no sense and don’t get me started on the maps 🤢
I remember classified cutscene drama honestly at the time I remember I didn't care because you couldn't get it legitimately so I don't blame him also anyone could do it so why should he get hate not like he went to game files and posted the mp4 file cough cough origins.
the way i look at this is that if people do glitches to complete an EE its not really cheating 🤣 its something thats within the game and if the dev members actually tested there games there would be no glitches that not really our fault for wanting to do glitches, thats what i did on classified went from lvl 56-1K in one game and went to round 489 with dogs only extra health and custom mutation glitch with cartoon mode and no crashes and its still legit
