Great comparison captain. Where all of these sound packs fall short (in my opinion) are: 1) initial start up and spooling, 2) spooling down, 3) 3-D variation (at different angles) 4) In-cockpit sound delivery. Don't get me wrong, they are better than some generic sound pack but they significantly lack details like APU start-up, hydraulics, button clicks etc. I am glad they come with the plane but I would never pay to get them as separate addon packs. Just my two cents. I hope Flight Factor improve in their next update, although I doubt it.
Funny thing is, before making this comparison I never tried out the new engines (GE/RR) so I only knew how the PWs sound like. And I must say I was pleasantly surprised, the GEs and RRs sound really quite good and better than the PWs imo. But you're totally right with your points, sound representation especially during fly-by and replay are horrible ;) I also don't expect the devs to change anything there, maybe there will be a 3rd party soundpack some day. The plane would deserve that.
Simulation Channel Deluxe there is the FT sim sound pack with a free and patron version that sounds really good. I sometimes have trouble installing it on some aircraft so it’s hit and miss for me.
@@soarandskor.aviation Haha okay mate, all good ;) It was pure coincidence to choose that livery for the landing, so why not make it a tribute lol. I really liked the Thomas Cook airlines.
GE CF6 my favorite I've heard them in real life too on a condor 767 too... awesome
Yessir Peterkins the GE CF6 are the best!

Damn those rb211 tho
Lol, Thomas Cook tribute with a Condor livery. Oh well, still a great video
But Condor was part of the Thomas Cook group, as clearly stated on the fuselage and they also shared the livery. Cheers mate
Simulation Channel Deluxe I know, I was just messing with you, but thanks for your feedback, as you are not wrong

Simulation Channel Deluxe same
Sounds nice!

Rest in peace for Thomas cook
RB211!
what about the engine start up? do they sound diffrent too?
Engine startup really doesn't sound good anyway. There might be a slight variation between engines.
@@SimulationChannelDeluxe OK thank you for the info :)
how did you cahnge the engines i cant
You can select the engines type in the menu that appears during aircraft load. If it doesn't appear you can also change it in the EFB/tablet.
i really like both GE and RR engines. PW sound for some reason kinda bad
Yes agrred :)
Agreed
I personally find all 3 default sounds disappointing. Ended up using the FMOD pack from FTSim+ and they're much closer to the real deal.
Could you provide a link to that FMOD pack please? EDIT: Don't worry, I found it.
@@SimulationChannelDeluxe
I can't find it
