These are the opponents that make me the most upset, the ones that play everything so poorly but the deck still gets there somehow. The match against selesnya frustrated me with how unnecessarily aggressive he was with his board wipes, especially knowing the other player is running mondrak. Lots of the proverbial “rtfc” moments too… good deck but this one was tough to watch lol

Most people build super friends decks, Chris builds the whole damn Justice League and Avengers crossover.
That Planar Disruption was on theme, as it features the Wanderer and was attached to her as well.
and the story scene it was a spotlight for essentially had her enter the fray, and something forced her out to be unable to do literally anything else for the story at the time...

I've been trying to make a planeswalker deck in explorer and constantly having to cut even some of the better ones. At this point I'm tempted to do a 250 card pile with 1 of each that's worth playing. Even then there might need to be some cuts since that kind of deck needs 100-110 lands and quite a few removal cards to get the job done and there are 166 planeswalkers in explorer, so likely at least 140 worth consideration and several worth running multiple copies.

Reminds me of "Oops all planeswalkers" deck from War of the Spark standard. Dragon-God Bolas, Interplanar Bacon, Teferis, Calous Dismissal...
Good times. I likes that deck so much that I made it in Pioneer, sadly it went poorly against our common matchups and the manabase was pretty janky.
This was the most fun deck I’ve seen in ages. Keep it up

Just wanna point out, Urza's Sylex, and Karn's Sylex do indeed wack all Planeswalkers, not commonly played, but is the main reason I run them in case of super friends. Nice content man 🤘🏼
Chris had lethal with the 2 wolves with the opponent down to one, and opponent simply dies to Phyrexian Arena on the upkeep

You can infinitely mill yourself and win with Laboratory Maniac, WAR Jace, Thassa's Oracle, or mill your opponents. If that's not enough, you're also getting infinite sacrifice triggers, infinite death triggers, infinite spell casting triggers, infinite mill triggers, and infinite creature casting and etb triggers. So there are hundreds of ways to draw, drain, or ping your opponents through the combo too

Try another version of farewell planeswalkers that uses a better mix of them.

Chris has somehow affected his matchmaking process which results in getting matched up against bad decks. Normal players like me and you will have a tough time playing his decks. If you watch some of his other vids, it's common to see his opponents have 100+ cards in their decks. I can't remember the last time that happened to me.

2 questions: What does "gate's down" mean?
Also, what was your process for the mana base for this deck? Would be very interested to know because I seem to always have the wrong ratios and always sit with enough mana but not the right colors.

I have discovered jank and shall now share it with you all. Mirror Box + Encroaching Mycrosynth + Jin-Gitaxias = Mono Blue Super friends.
I could see that combo theoretically working to push out a turn six Jace mill win, presuming perfect draw and uncontested play:
Island on one
Island and Prism on two
Island and Mycosynth on three
Island, Box, and a second Prism on four
Island and Jin-Gitaxias on five
Island, Jace, and Jace on six. Activate each Jace, including copies, to mill for sixty total.
Only mana screw could stop this deck. Simply amazing. If you cut out all walkers who does nothing in this deck maybe you could get closer to 60 cards.

This is why planeswalkers are stupid with the new proliferate you can max out Narset Transcendent, so easy and it blocks all wipes and removals even if there were some. Creatures are not fast enough brawl down planeswalkers they drop down 1 after another and they spawn creatures for free, a creature deck gotto use cards to remove tokens or try to get through the walls of tokens they create, íts so wierd they dont make more remove planeswalkers cards, or a card like "If a player plays a planeswalker counter it" was alot of cards like that for enchantments and what not in the past.
