Finally, someone who knits the way I do with yarn in left hand, without taking hands off the needles and without inserting the needle into the stitch from a backward angle. I am making these booties!
I'm just finishing the first one. I love the pattern and the way it works up. I did join in the round with DPNs for the ribbing so there's less to stitch up. It worked out great, thank you!
Last year I made one .. now here I am. One year later making the second one. Now I have a pair of baby socks. Thank you for the tutorial you make it nice and simple. Ps and still have to stitch and bind off the last sock slipper. ❤
Hey there. Soooo I commented three years ago. I am no longer a new knitter and I’m about to make these booties because I’m pregnant!! 💙💙💙💙 can’t wait to follow along and make these finally. Thank you
Great tutorial and a lovely design for a baby boots. Thank you for sharing this! The only thing I adjusted after making the first boot was that I left a long enough piece of yarn in the beginning and at the end to be able to stitch the boot together with its own yarn instead of a thread. I find it blends better; with thread there's a chance you can see the stitches a bit.
I just love the cast off. I have been increasing the second last row, so that it would be large when casting off. Your technique is superb. Thank you for showing it slowly.
Hi. Thank you for this tutorial. It is very simple, thorough and easy to follow. I added a lace horseshoe pattern starting after the 8th row of the rib stitch, and did the binding off after two sets of design which were 8 rows for each set. I started the lace stitch working from the inside of the baby bootie so that I could turn it down outward and have a lace frill. The lace stitch was the same as the pattern for the matching hat. I knitted both booties at the same time on long #3 needles. When I added the lace top to the bootie, I switched to a #4 needle The outcome was Awesome! Thanks again!
You are a great teacher! I had never seen such carefully made and anatomically correct ,soft little booties.Im in love with it and will make them for all babies I know.Thank you
Thx so much for the tutorial! I never knew you could add and take off stitches like this and the boots turned out great! I think the little baby will love them 💕
Thank you so very much for the instructions and tutorial!!! As a new knitter, I have been looking for an easy version for knitting a pair of baby booties and I just hit the “jackpot”!!! Utterly grateful to you for taking the time to make this tutorial and offering the written instructions so that we can learn! Awesome!
U understood this? I was legit getting angry trying to figure out what she was doing. 😅 I restarted the video 6 times and can't get more than "wrap the yard around ur finger a bunch, then... Idk what I'm doing cuz she speeds the video to where I have no clue what's going on
I have made my first knitting project and it looks quite good for a beginner and I couldn't have done it without you and this video.I'm going to be a great Aunt in about 6 months and will be making a lot of these booties thanks to you and your wonderful video
I used the printed pattern, could not figure out the # 2 Top of the foot decrease, heaven knows how many times I tried it, your video made it soooo simple, Thank you Teo!
Thank you so much for this tutorial, I am a beginner and was looking for a useful project, where these are a great gift for new parents :) I also really like how you list the instructions on the bottom of the screen, it made it easier.
Hi, Thanks for row by row instructions. This pattern is great for a beginner. The one catch is that the pattern says 18 rounds of decreases which leaves 29 stitches instead of 31. You video is correct and stops increases at row 16.
Just made the first sock in pink. It's messy, because it's my first project ever, but I love this method of teaching. I pause and follow until I catch up. Rewatching it to finish the second sock, haha. I added a pink bow to finish it of sewing the bow onto the back. My mother in law and bf loved it! :)
Thank you so much for sharing your pattern for these tiny cute baby booties. Your an Angel, and so very easy easy to follow. I can see why someone could make these on their first try at knitting. I’ll be watching for more from you.Darlin.❤️
Thank you very much for sharing this pattern and for your very pleasant and easy to follow instructions! I made the booties already and they turned out so nice!
Thank you!❤❤❤❤ and you were very thoughtful and kind to place the pattern on the screen for us too! The LORD bless you with every spiritual blessing through Jesus Christ our Lord!!!!
Than you for a lovely tutorial. I enjoyed your presentation. Each detailed instruction was understandable. I have made with you during the video and the end I have a nice baby boots.
Of course. Just use a thinner yarn, with the recommended needle size. Yarn that calls for needle #3 should do the trick. If the bootie is still too big, try a fingering yarn.
Thank you so much! I am a newbie knitter. Using your easy to follow pattern and tutorial I have managed to complete my 1st baby bootie in Aran weight yarn. I am going to try it again with different weight yarns. Your a gem
I’m fascinated to see someone knit so fast!!! Have you done a video showing how you wrap the yarn around your left hand? I’d love to learn to knit this way…
Hi! Im enjoying this video so much and following along. I just noticed though - in Part 2 Row 17 it says in the video to slip 1 then knit to the end - but in the written instructions it says just to repeat row 2 and 3 until you reach row 18?
Great tutorial, thank you very much :) I've always been scared to learn more "complicated" things, and you made it super easy to follow and learn a lot of things :)
I love the video. Instructions and demonstrations were great. I'm making these socks for my 2 grandsons, size 5 (almost 2 years old) and size 8 (almost 3 years old). Can you provide instructions on how to increase for these sizes? I would greatly appreciate the efforts! For their sizes, I could buy some glue stuff on the bottom so they wouldn't slip around on the wood flooring
Thank you! You made this totally accessible for new to advanced beginner knitters. The booties are adorable and I can’t wait to make some for my new great niece! Many Blessings to you!
I Love this tutorial,,I come back to it again and again ~!! I've made so many of these,in different yarn heights and fibers,,always with great success. Thank you~!!🧶🥢
this is an amazing and super detailed video!! thank you!! question- what happens to the numbers if i wanna make a smaller sock? like starting with 17 or 15 stitchs... thank you!
Really I'm trying to learn I decided to go with your video. You go 100 miles an hour..I have no idea what your doing I thought it was going to be a stress reliever all it did was add more stress. Thanks I'm off to the next video.
Up at the right hand corner s a round, that looks like a star, hit on it, tells you speed click on .75 I believe or however slow you would like.( I thnk there,s a .05 it slows it way down. Hope this helps.
This is great up until the end! If I just weave off the whole thing unravels! Please help this newbie figure out how to finish binding off without losing all the work I've already done! Also did you stitch it up using the yarn and a tapestry needle?
If you are a beginner, you should first learn to knit and cast off. Casting off is the last step of completing your project. All you need to do is UA-cam ' how to cast off my knitting ' , I would recommend 'RJ knits' or my personal fave, 'sheep & stitch'
Love this pattern and tutorial. I have a question on part 2 in the pattern it said R4-18 repeat R 2&3 but in your video you do it different. Anyone else noticed that? I appreciate any help. Please and Thank you!!
Thank youuuuuuuuu so much- I just finished making it and it’s so cute 🥰 I have a question tho.. if I want to make it bigger do I still have to increase 4 in each row in the beginning?
I just love this! I am a new knitter and I’ve never seen anyone knit quite like you! I knit English style I guess cuz I’m right handed but I’m trying continental with the hopes I’ll be faster and I’m wondering if I held my yarn like you do it would help. I really want to make these. I don’t have a baby right now lol but I would love to make these for my kids in bigger sizes. Truly I just love your tutorial! Thank you so much. Making it for free means so much to me! Thank you thank you. I’m gonna go through your channel any time I have a knitting question at all!
Kathleen Vassallo thank you, yes, you can make them however big you want, just increase the cast on sts and add a few rows of garter stitch, I’ll have a go as well
Teo Makes I would love to know how it works out for you. You work so easily like it’s a breeze lol. I do not knit with ease like that. I will aspire to be more like you cuz your work is absolutely perfect
Wow, thank you, this is such a blessing, I tried to work put a bootie without picking up 8 stitches on either side for the instep, thank you once again
I love this tutorial. This was my first time knitting and the baby shoes turned out perfect with no mistakes!! I do have one question if you can please, I want to knit these in a newborn size. Can you please give me the instructions In that sizing? Im still a beginner and not sure how to do the math for it. Thank you!
Oh my! I've finally been able to follow knitting instructions!!! WOW! Now, I love this pattern. How can I knit smaller booties for newborns (bootie came out great, but too big), and how do I translate these instructions for adult booties in wanted?? Thank you so much!!!
Thank you so much for your video. The instructions are very clear. Could you also post a video on casting stitches like you have done in this video? I usually use a different method of casting and want to learn the way you do it. Thanks!
Finally, someone who knits the way I do with yarn in left hand, without taking hands off the needles and without inserting the needle into the stitch from a backward angle. I am making these booties!
