My name is Sara welcome to my channel Crochet for Baby. In today's tutorial I will show you how to knit these super easy newborn baby booties, socks or shoes. These baby booties are very easy to knit making them ideal for beginners. You can easily make these knit baby booties for newborns just use a 3mm or 3.5mm knitting needle if you knit tight and for 3-6 months use a 4.5mm knitting needle. I used about 15 grams of baby yarn #3 for each bootie.

I typed it over. Gave her copyright and added her video link in it aswell, also what I did is I went and added the times on the video fir each row. Then you cannot loose your space. Also, use a row counter.

This is my first time to hold knitting needles.. And i think knitting is more difficult than crochet.. My hand is more gauged in crocheting and in knitting my hand tends to be too stiff haha. Thanks for this pattern!! The only thing I did different was the casting off row. I did the casting of patternwise. So the knitstitches I casted off knitwise and the pearlstitches I casted off pearlwise. But for the rest was it a fantastic tutorial for making babybooties..😃

4.5 needle (US 7)3-6 months
Lion Brand Baby Soft - Little Boy Blue
Cast on: 38 stitches
Tie knit at end of cast on so stitch doesn’t come undone.
Knit stitch - 13 rows - measures about 4 cm for 3-6 month size
Row 14: knit 13, pearl 2 together, knit 8, skip knit-wise, knit 1, grab skipped stitch and bring over knitted stitch (SKP) {should have 13 stitches on left needle} TURN NEEDLES
Row 15: slip pearl-wise, knit 8, pearl 2 together, {should have 12 stitches on left needle} TURN NEEDLES
Row 16: slip pearl-wise, knit 8, (SKP) {should have 12 stitches on left needle} TURN NEEDLES
Row 17: slip pearl-wise, knit 8, pearl 2 together {should have 11 stitches on needle} TURN NEEDLES
Row 18: slip pearl-wise, knit 8, (SKP) {should have 11 stitches on left } TURN NEEDLES
