      I’ve tried three times and have more stitches at the end of round 6 than you indicate in your pattern. Very frustrated.

    I'm grateful for the effort, but I found this video a bit hard to follow--I think it would be helpful to step back and show what the boot looks like at various stages. As the rounds moved on, sometimes things got wonky and I couldn't tell if it was a situation where things were correct and you just have to sit tight, or it was off. The ribbed cuff was also confusing. Somehow my shoe ended up quite large--like for a four or five year old 😂Using normal acrylic yarn.

    • @AdoreCreaCrochet
      @AdoreCreaCrochet  Рік тому

      Sorry you feel that way. To get a similar product you will have to use the same weight yarn as used in the pattern.

    Mine looked great until the ribbing part...not sure how but it looks very off... especially going around the decrease area in the front. Will try again and tighten my tension

    • @AdoreCreaCrochet
      @AdoreCreaCrochet  5 місяців тому

      It's common to encounter challenges, especially when working on new techniques like ribbing. Adjusting your tension can definitely help improve the appearance, so tightening it a bit could make a difference. Additionally, paying close attention to the instructions for the decrease area and ensuring you're working the stitches correctly in that section can also make a big difference. Don't hesitate to experiment and try again! If you need any further assistance or tips, feel free to ask. You've got this! 💪🧶

    My ribbed part doesn't look anything like yours, I don't know what I done wrong. I took it apart a bunch of times? Also is your patterns for 0-3 months available?

    • @AdoreCreaCrochet
      @AdoreCreaCrochet  Рік тому

      I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble with the ribbed part. Ribbing can be a bit tricky, and there are a few things that could be causing your ribbing to look different from mine. One possibility is that your tension might be too tight or too loose, which can affect the look of the stitches. Another possibility is that you might be working the wrong stitch or working the stitch in the wrong way.
      If you've already taken the ribbed part apart multiple times and are still having trouble, it might be helpful to watch some more video tutorials on how to make ribbing
      Regarding the size of the pattern, the pattern I provided is for a standard size that should fit most newborns, but it can be easily adjusted to fit a 0-3 month old baby. To make the booties larger, you can use a larger hook and/or a thicker yarn. Alternatively, to make them smaller, you can use a smaller hook and/or a thinner yarn.
      I hope this information helps, and please let me know if you have any other questions. 🤗

    It would have been nice to see how you completely closed the foot area of the shoe. I’m a beginner and I’m learning step by step with visual and it seemed that part is edited out on both videos

    Nicely presented video except around 31:33 it is as if a segment is left out. I’m left with a shoe with a strap that, in your video miraculously becomes a cuff.

    • @AdoreCreaCrochet
      @AdoreCreaCrochet  Рік тому

      It won't make much sense to repeat the same instruction 29 times. If so, it will be a very long video.😉 But you simply repeat the sequence until you reach all the way around the edge of the boot.🙂

      @mariew333 Рік тому

      @@queencreekmomma It is explained in the video that you have to repeat the last to rows of the ribbing all around the edge of the shoe. That means you will make 29 row of ribbing and attach every other row to the shoe with a slip stitch into the next 2 stitches of the shoe.
      When it says repeat, it means you have to do the same thing again, that was just shown.

    i’ve tried making these booties 4 different times now and always end up with too many stiches at round 7 and can’t figure out what i’m doing wrong

    • @AdoreCreaCrochet
      @AdoreCreaCrochet  6 місяців тому +1

      I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble with the booties.
      Here are a few common reasons why you might end up with too many stitches at round 7:
      Accidental Increases: Check your stitches in each round to make sure you're not accidentally adding extra stitches. Counting your stitches at the end of each round can help identify if any extras have crept in.
      Understanding the Pattern: Make sure you're correctly interpreting the instructions for round 7. Sometimes, a misinterpretation can lead to errors. Double-check the pattern to ensure you're following each step accurately.
      Joining the Rounds: When you join each round, ensure that you're joining in the correct stitch. Joining in the wrong place can result in misaligned stitches.
      I hope this really helped. And I wish you the best of luck with your project🙂

    I have ripped this first booty out many times. The problem starts with the decreases. (yes, I have the correct number of stitches to start-- 44) My starting point is almost dead center of the heel of the booty, when i finish with my 6th set of decreases, it ends on the other side further over than where the first one started. My booty then looks wonky. IDK what I'm doing wrong, but obviously it's me, I'm problem. please help!
