I have to say that I'm a huge fan of the complicated chess diagrams that have been featured in many of your recent videos, especially the ones showing multiple knight-move possibilities. No matter how close we get to Axis iconography, you never quite take it that far (which is a sign of excellent judgment). I too have recently implemented a chess side quest. You make five moves each, then switch colors. You don't switch seats. The board swivels. This results in each player getting two moves in a row every five moves, one with each color. It adds quite a bit to the strategic thinking, because if you land a checkmate, you win. It doesn't matter which color you start or finish with. You just have to get a checkmate when it's your turn. Takeaway from this video: switch to edible chess pieces so I too can chow down on the pieces like Magnus.
Edit: are there Bass Pro Shops in the UK, or do you just have lots of American caps?
haha very good, reminds me of duck chess which was a bit of a rage a year or so ago, dunno if you ever played that. Ah no my brother was in Cali for a bit recently and brought it back. I suppose I have a few US caps yeah, idk why really. I've only been to NY, Texas and Florida

Magnus always staying a step above his opponent nice Rook sacrifice than pulling off a fork on the Queen and Bishop Magnus’s Queen is attacked but moves to safety not his opponent losing move i would think great counterplay from Magnus throughout game his opponent should’ve recaptured that knight and put pressure on the pawn but no other ideas Thanks James

I got squirrelly and thought maybe i was lucky but i played AI from 650 all the way to 2400. Problem is at 2400 multiple games the dang AI learns you moves. Really challenging
