You don’t have to take my word it’s just stuff my dad has told me since he is a sleep expert and he is a area manager that managed over 10 stores at once and has been in the field for over 12+ years.
Dude, firm pillows are amazing. They're not just gonna flop and flatten down to the mattress, plus it actually elevates your head rather than just making you sleep essentially without a pillow

You have anxiety? I'm with you on the body temperature thing. Have anxiety attacks all the time during sleep, which raises my body temperature and causes me to sweat when other people would find it even cool. There is also mattresses with cooling technology that works well. My old mattress was a queen foam mattress with cooling tech and I loved it.
In all seriousness, cooling gell/foam pillow will change your life. I was firmly against foam pillows, til they can put with better foams and cooling gel pillows. And I slept on one once, and fell in love. Won’t sleep on anything else anymore.

Its been so used that its like 2 inches thick and hardly provides support, now call me weird but i wouldnt want it any other way. My mattress is also very firm, like , i might as well sleep on the floor firm, and i love it.
