All will be revealed in our follow up walk - Coniston Lake Gondola and Hike. - ua-cam.com/video/uK1lWlloGOM/v-deo.html Haha. Thanks for watching, hope you enjoyed the episode!
Fellas I'm a 50 year old bloke who is following the same kind of journey you are.... thanks for your video's a real pleasure to watch. Your a pair of stars.
This was one of the best videos I’ve seen. So true to life, the highs and the lows. You’ve evoked so many memories, the tough and the joyous and they’re all great and they all make great adventures. Soooo many thanks to Summit or Nothing.
Another great video gents, really well done on getting to the top 👍🏻 don't listen to the belters who slag you off, at least you are getting amongst the hills, my dad passed away in 2012, he was the one who took me hill walking as a kid, every time I'm on the hills I feel closer to him , I'm so grateful to him. Keep up the good work gents, I follow you both on insta too 👍🏻👍🏻
Cheers Peter. I don't care much for anyone who thinks little of us now, have come a long way and a accomplished a lot since we started out. And I can understand you saying about feeling closer to your dad. Great that you continues his love for the hills. Thanks for watching!
It was rude of me not to thank you for the shoutout to the Hiking Britain FB group. Thanks Trev. So kind of you! I have this playing in the background as I do my work and I heard my name getting a shout. So thrilled. Keep those walks coming. Love it!
MutieThePig No worries. Thanks for always allowing us to share our vids to your page. Much appreciated! Thats how I do my viewing too usually. The only way I can squeeze viewing into my schedule these days. Thanks for watching!
Thanks Maria , glad that you enjoy our videos and that you can appreciate our non professional approach haha. Sorry for late reply and thanks for watching!
''Hats off'' to you boys, you did it...............................another cracking vid, loving your complete honesty about getting on the wrong path etc, cheers Stu.
Absolutely brilliant. Totally get where you guys were coming from in this excellent video. And you climbed Scafell and Lingmel with all that gear. Done it myself but not with all that clobber. Not like Sheepstor eh!! Thanks lads. From a Plymouth bey!!
Great vid, walked up the triffin (probably spelt wrong) last year in the snow jan feb ish and bet my oppo there would be someone up there, it was desperately cold and he said no way, so we put 50 quid on it. Got to the top and my mate was so pleased he was jumping from one sister to the other, which were icy when I spotted two people in rain macs huddled down eating a sandwhich, best 50 quid I ever earned. Loving the channel guys keep up the great work.
We are planning this climb in memory of my brother. Watching this has given me some good pointers. Just downloaded that viewranger app ...seems a must. With my eyesight I'd end up going skewwhiff and end up in Blackpool. Love the vids. Gives me confidence that we will be able to do it . Cheers lads.
Good luck for your climb and sorry to hear about your brother, I'm sure you will do him proud. Viewranger is a great little app, I even went and paid the years subscription (about £20) and then you get the OS maps on there no matter where you are in the UK. Well, thanks very much for watching. All the best!
WoW Guys! Every thing about this video/post is amazing* Absolutely well done :-) What an achievement.I'm a new subscriber & just doing a catch-up on your 1st posts.Thank you for sharing*
😂😂😂 some of that had me laughing out loud. All going pear shaped then you showed the boot sole 😂 shouldn’t laugh really. Cracking vlog, very real .. cheers 👍
I just did Ben nevis after watching your video! Don’t change! It really made it good for me! I like the realness. If people don’t like it then tough on them!
Great video, just subscribed. We camped at the same site and took the same rooute in July 2018. It was during the heatwave, 80F+ what a killer for me, being old and unfit. Round trip took 7 hours. Ben nevis in 2020. No training, just plod up the hill and stop often.
Best way to do it too, just plot and rest and plod and rest. Thanks so much for watching, hope that you enjoy more on our channel. Sorry for late reply and all the best for Big Ben!!
Yea - a lot of uploads, its a little lesson in personal discipline, setting two video a week also means we have to get ourselves out as much as possible, so there's your benefit! - no matter if you cant keep up, just drop in when ever you feel like it, im sure youd catch the gist. Thanks for wtacing, Mark. Take care
Cheers very much. We've got plenty planned - and plenty in the edit too, well, for the time being we are still trying to keep uploading two videos a week, so watch this space!
Love the vids guys , I'm looking into getting my hiking gear first time , going to be a bit of a challenge for me as I am an amputee and use crutches but not letting that stop me from seeing them views from the peaks lol, any advise on what kit I should be looking at from boots up, thanks again guys keep up good work.
Hi ya, glad to hear that you're going to take up hiking, and although I'm sure it will be more challenging for yourself, in your situation, I'm sure it will still be as rewarding. I'm probably not the one to ask about gear, our Nath is the one who's switched on, but if you fancied it, look on our channel at our playlist 'Micscellanious', there is some pre hike kit vids in there that may help you out! Thanks for watching!
Thanks very much.im actually uploading a shorter version tomorrow which has been digitally enhanced and re- edited to a more manageable 20mins.... See what you think of that one too.
Hello S.O.N., that foam on the handy cam mics works blinking well. Could you please say how you stuck it on, what kind of foam etc (or do a video about it perhaps). Kind regards.
Any foam will do it. I think this foam was from the inside of an old changing mat, but at the moment I just use a washing up sponge stuck on with super glue. Works a treat
Good luck with that, Karen! I am considering doing something similar too - maybe after next years Himalayan trip, though. All the best and thanks for watching!
I think you're doing yourselves down a bit. I've done a few walks in the lakes and I've no idea what I'm doing, and neither do most people I meet on the routes. Did Helvellyn, Striding Edge yesterday and didn't have a clue, but the others we met along the way were just as nervous crossing it in the snow. There was certainly no judgement from anyone.
Yeah, I reckon you are right - everyone has their own pace, something that we have realised over time. I can't wait to do Helvellyn, but not so sure whether I would sh*t myself on Striding edge as I am not 100% good with heights! Even without snow! Well done for getting over it!
@@SummitOrNothing Thanks mate. I'm scared of heights but it's not the same when you get on there as say going up ladders or in a glass lift, you've got a sure footing on a rock, bit different. I wouldn't do it without crampons in the snow though. :). Great videos by the way, inspirational, keep up the good work guys.
Great vid. Lesson learnt with navigation, it could have ended a lot worse. Stay away from go outdoors and mountain warehouse and buy some proper gear, but don't tell the wife!
Did you get your heel fixed or do the rest of the lakes in crocs? :)
All will be revealed in our follow up walk - Coniston Lake Gondola and Hike. - ua-cam.com/video/uK1lWlloGOM/v-deo.html Haha. Thanks for watching, hope you enjoyed the episode!
Summit Or Nothing oh thanks... that’s nice. Hope you do Ben Nevis soon! 👍🏻
Done and dusted last weekend! Video to come in the next two or three weeks!
Summit Or Nothing awesome! Needing to see that :)

Cheers Aaron. There is something special about the Lakes. Thanks very much for watching.
I find your videos the most informative. Very helpful and I prefer the non professional approach because most of us aren’t professionals at this.
Thanks Maria , glad that you enjoy our videos and that you can appreciate our non professional approach haha. Sorry for late reply and thanks for watching!

Style.

Too many people! All that hard work to get up there and fight for a spot to take pics, enjoy the view and people in the way!
Yea, well it is England's tallest so it was always going to be a popular one. Still amazing up top, regardless. Thanks for watching!
Most people get lost coming down Scafell. Ha. I have been

Great vid. Lesson learnt with navigation, it could have ended a lot worse. Stay away from go outdoors and mountain warehouse and buy some proper gear, but don't tell the wife!
