Hello sir Paul. Thank you very much for everything you do for the videoclip. I am very thankful.the videoclip to help me to graft the mangos trees. Thank you again sir Paul.
@@josueocampo7989 hi, thank you for replying. I planted a seed about 3 years ago. My tree was growing up to a year ago. It produced some fruit at about 2 years but I cut the fruit off because it was too young. After that, the tree stopped growing, (I think that the tree is in a clay soil) . I also started to learn how to graft. I succeeded the fist and second time. I friend gave me some cuttings but I do not know what kind it is. I just try the fruit and if I like it, then I ask for the cuttings. I just grafted some wood from a different kind (again, I do not know what kind it is but I tried the fruit and I liked it) about a month and a half ago but since the tree is not growing, it’s taking too long to find out if I succeed again. I live in Orange County . Years back hardly anybody grew mangoes here but it’s becoming more popular. What I do, when I drive and see a mango tree, I stop and knock at their door and ask them to sell me a mango to try and if I like the fruit, then I ask for the cuttings. Are your mangoes good? Where did you get your trees? How long have you had them? I would drive to LA to try your mangoes and buy some of your cuttings.
@@doraramirez595 Good Morning Dora. For the moment I don't sell Mangos. I got my trees from a Nursery in San Gabriel Valley call Champa Nursery. They Have a a lot of varieties of mangoes. Also a big selection of Exotic tropical fruits.
Well, my mango seeds are sprouting. Now I just have to wait till they are big enough to graft! I did lose some seeds. Because I left them in rain too long and they rotted. So I brought the others into the lanai under the roof. They look good. Are you covering your graft with aluminum foil? Yes it is a learning experience. And thank you for your vids. So nice you have the room for all those trees!
Good video and great learning experience. Could you maybe give me advice where I can obtain some graft woods on west coast of Florida. I'd like them cut fresh.
try to find someone with trees and go and get some. I know a place in sarasota I interviewed them. Also check with matt at what's ripening also in Ft. Myers I think
@@FruitfulTrees I can’t wait for that video to be published! Your videos have been very enlightening and educational! Because of your videos I have found 2 additional Mango Orchards this past season! Keep up the good work!
What is the names of the tapes that is used and where to bye then? The first one I heard is grafting tape but the other I did not understand. Please let me know.
