@@NOISECAUSEDCANCER I guess it's a personal thing on how you grade what is raw or is not. For me it is though, quite far from a well produced record. There are surely harsher ones that even meddle with noise, but that's a different thing altogether. Let's agree to disagree xD
I am so happy that you reply to my every rant , but I secretly hope to get someone else involved in the topic to hear some other opinions :) I certainly know your position on the theme and highly respect it . I would gladly dive deeper into the topic but I am not sure if it is right to flood my rants under the video :D there is a lot to be said and I am interested to hear what other people think especially the listeners and subscribers of the channels like yours and RoP ...Thank for the uploads and responds they are both most highly appreciated !

@@NOISECAUSEDCANCER Oh you are happy to rant whenever you want. I love to discuss these matters openly, no problem whatsoever with using the comment section for that. I usually try to answer everyone, especially in cases like this, with people I already exchanged ideas with and about matters I also feel I can contribute somehow.
Is your position to do with the rawness being artificial / digital? Rather than a more analogue and "true" rawness coming from tape production for example. Or is rawness to you based more on the tone and attitude than production? I think the term "raw" seems to be interpreted differently by different people which often is the genesis of these discussions
@@brimerwelpippy4972 Interesting approach I would say it is rather a feeling , a mix of atonality and overall bad quality with peaks and resonance , bad musical instrument execution can also be a technique for achieving rawness , however similar results can be achieved digitally as well ... at the end of the day it is about the feeling (especially for a musical invalid as myself). What I was trying to imply on the main post is that the amount of rawness seemed insufficient to be labeled as such release , although I found the overall material as soft .
Amazing and fragile mysticism.
I definitely find it raw-ish. It's not ear-shredding, but far from a "good" production!
