I remember watching parts of this video again that was so very great.Very informative very well researched and greatly edited.'ABBA" was a fantastic follower to 'Waterloo" and had a very high levelled production.Every single instrument could be audible and sound crispy from every corner. The Instrumentation was lush and so very 'proffesional" not to mention the vocal attangements and the significant hits included that marked a whole era and the future pop music culture ..Such a creative era for the band.
Loved watching this video! Also loved the unique photos that were taken during this time and displayed here. You give a real "behind the scenes" glimpse of the group just as they were doing all the pivotal work which would advance them to superstar status! I'm fascinated by the picture of both Agnetha and Frida smoking! This is something I never imagined I'd see - perhaps because, in my own head, they've got these amazing powerhouse voices. For some reason, it seems out of character. I guess it was the times.
Smoking was so kinda 'cool" and 'fashionable/stylish" and common at the time, almost a 'must" .I just hope that didn't harm their voices and health.I had also seen a photo of Agnetha holding a cigarette in the album photos of the sleeve of the French instrumentalist's 1978 album Frank Pourcel 'F.Pourcel plays ABBA" and remember was kinda shocked back then.Agnetha quit smoking somewhere near late 1979/1980 i think.
I always liked their early work recorded here It has a bright sound, maybe recording in the small studio added to that and Michael was a genius using the swimming pool to good effect to do what would be done digitally these days.
Love you BB. Am going to London to see ABBA Voyage on April 5 and 6. This may be my best chance to see them again in person, as I did in Melbourne in 1977. You are a lifeline. A connection between me and my most loved 4. Sending love from Melbourne Australia.
I might sound non-modest but i'm a great cook.Honest.I wish i could make and sent u lol! whenever my schoool mates visit me for a couple of days they return to their place chubbier. Seems all 4 had such a great fun during the recording sessions.Their focused creativity and fun is all pictured in this photo session.
You mentioned hey hey Helen and so long. Watch out also is some of the handful of examples of ABBA really rocking out. I really enjoyed the handful of rockers that they released. The last one song that could be called a rocker was on and on and on.
Thanks. There’s a video on my channel I created about the Hootenanny Singers: ua-cam.com/video/BgSYZrfZebQ/v-deo.htmlsi=Bb_9rNthbH1OTm5G Recently, I did a video about the lost African film by the Hep Stars: ua-cam.com/video/qCOTWz8J7gU/v-deo.htmlsi=6Sazn4H6txUgSlf7 I hope you enjoy.
Sorry, I tНink after AВВА departed, Anni Frid and AgnetНa were sorry a little, to me two nice Ladies were destressed some period, tНеn worked and made a lot of progess.

Fantastic. I remember on the back of 'Arrival' album saying about Anders, "someday we are gonna let you hear him sing"!

Thanks BB! An exciting stage for ABBA, indeed! ✨✨ I couldn’t love “The Glenms”more 😍 🙌

Was that swimming pool not used for the explosion at the end of Watch out an amp was flung in the pool. I remember reading this somewhere.
I want Benny's coat what is it called
That is not the house the studio was at so I believe - it may have been: Johan Banérs väg 19, 182 75 Stocksund.
Why do you always surprise us with hidden ABBA connections, such as Tretow's Let's Boogie??
But why is the b backwards in Abba
So that it leans closer to the a. It's also a trademark
