  • Scott's New Book: www.claritypre...
Scott Ritter is a former Marine intelligence officer who served in the former Soviet Union, implementing arms control agreements, and on the staff of General Norman Schwartzkopf during the Gulf War, where he played a critical role in the hunt for Iraqi SCUD missiles. From 1991 until 1998, Mr. Ritter served as a Chief Inspector for the United Nations in Iraq, leading the search for Iraq’s proscribed weapons of mass destruction. Mr. Ritter was a vocal critic of the American decision to go to war with Iraq. His new book, Disarmament in the Time of Perestroika: Arms Control and the End of the Soviet Union, is his ninth.

The funniest thing about our situation is that we live in a society which teaches our children at a young age that you can’t solve conflicts with violence but all they see from our leadership is violent solutions to every conflict we have with other nations. We live in nations which pretend that violence can’t solve anything and then bombard our news and media with violent solutions to every problem we face. Even our language has been distorted by this disease. We fight it every thing, we declare war on everything, we attack everything, it’s a disease of violence which the US is the leader by far. A nation which prides itself on peaceful solutions to problems, yet has the highest murder rate in the western world. A nation which says it wants to hear from everyone yet destroys anyone who doesn’t agree. It’s competition gone wild, where everything is a competition and cooperation is only useful if it leads to your domination of all situations. I think we have a word for it and anarchy would be appropriate. We argue about everything even if it’s what we want but someone else pointed it out. We have lost our society to total individualism to the point where no one cooperates to make our society better they only cooperate for their own gains at everyone else’s expense. It’s enshrined in our tax laws, our social programs, our work in everything we do. Me, me and me at any cost to others.

And that statement explains everything in the lives of everyday US citizens. Propagandized from birth on the so-call greatness of their country. Marketing of products and a ideology 24x7. No wonder we are sick in the heads.
To indoctrinate every young boy, now girls too on militarism and hate of the "other."
It's the only way the 1% can make money while they sleep, and the working class faces a life of toil.
Now I get it after so many years, so many wars, so many factories closings, illness, and poverty.

That goes for Britain also. We was told that it was the end of Empire for us, but it was all a confidence trick, a confidence trick for the Nations that voted for independence, they was still controlled economically and a confidence trick for the British, who still get involved in military affairs around the world and we have never had it explained to us why, when we have supposedly given up our empire. I suppose it’s our own fault for putting up with these narcissistic psychopaths.

All of those people have been interviewed by Judge Napolitano at his UA-cam channel, Judging Freedom. They ALL are free-thinking experts, not stooges of the U.S. government. And they all, except Alistair Crooke, have served their country, the U.S., with high distinction. But, they don't hesitate to tell the truth.

I can only watch and learn, what has happened to my country under the 'intensive care' of the US policy. Life in Poland has never been easy and safe, but I have the comparative scale, how it was in the Soviet Union times. Maybe we were poor, but we had much more freedom, than now. There were some threats, life is never free from them, but the human factor was much better, than now. People were not so polarized as nowadays, they were compassionate and understanding. I do hope, someday the US will withdraw from Europe and leave us alone.

Zelensky didn't try to prevent the conflict through diplomacy because he lacks honor and integrity.
In 2014 there was a coup. Soon after, there was a massacre in Odessa (dozens of people were burned alive). Ethnic Russians living in Ukraine were treated as subhuman. Their language and culture was being oppressed. A civil war broke out due to the rise in ethnic tensions. For 8 years the Ukrainian military was indiscriminately shelling civilians living in Donbas.
If Zelensky honored the Minsk agreement and pledged neutrality, none of this would have happened. The 8 year civil war would have ended and Donbas would have remained part of Ukraine. War is the ultimate failure of diplomacy.
Zelensky, Poroshenko, Merkel and Hollande admitted that Ukraine had no intention to honor the Minsk agreements.
Who didn't want peace? Who advised against the 2022 peace talks in April? Hint: someone visited Zelensky in Kiev at that time
Russia's national security was compromised once NATO began to expand eastwards. Russia clearly stated that Ukraine joining NATO was a red line (November 2021) and unfortunately this concern was never taken seriously. The Russians openly stated: if nothing changes, we will be forced to act in order to defend our national security. Enhancing the national security of one country at the expense of another is unacceptable. The Russians have legitimate security concerns.
20th September, 2021. Ukraine launched military drills with US and NATO
NATO is not a defensive alliance. NATO illegally bombed Yugoslavia (a direct violation of the U.N. Charter).
We should never forget what they did to Libya, Afghanistan, Iraq etc.
Who blew up the pipeline causing an environmental disaster?
Zelensky banned all opposition and arrested a leading priest.
Zelensky tried to invoke article 5 under false pretenses. Remember the incident in Poland.
Ethnic Russians living in Ukraine were treated as subhuman. Their language and culture was being oppressed.
Poroshenko said, “Our children will go to schools and kindergartens-theirs will hide in the basements”.
Russians will never forget the 2014 Odessa massacre. The whole world needs to know about it.
Why was Denis Kireev eliminated? He was a member of Ukraine's negotiating team during the peace negotiations. He wanted to help his country.
Ukraine has a hit list. They target artists, journalists and ordinary citizens. Hundreds of children are on this list. 13 year old Faina Savenkova was placed on this list.
Pink Floyd's Roger Waters is on this list. Jimmy Dore (American stand-up comedian, podcaster) and Aaron Maté (Canadian writer and journalist) are on this list.
There is evidence that Ukrainian troops have been indiscriminately shelling civilians in Donbas (they used petal mines and targeted areas where there was no military presence).
The azov troops trapped in the azovstal steelworks in Mariupol used human shields. They refused to allow civilians to leave despite of humanitarian corridors being present.
Russia held a proposed cease fire in order for the civilians to leave, but azov would not allow the civilians to leave.
Ukraine has committed many acts of terrorism (car bombs and other forms of assassination). Darya Dugina (journalist) R.I.P.
The first terrorist attack on the Kerch bridge killed the truck driver and the individuals in the adjacent car (innocent civilian victims).
The second terrorist attack on the Kerch bridge killed two parents and severely injured their young daughter.
I have done a lot of research and it took me a long time to write this comment. I have stated a lot of facts and I have given my honest opinion.
I have provided a brief summary of events that took place. In order to explain this whole situation in great detail, a book would need to be written.
Hopefully someone will write an UNBIASED book, stating facts and allowing the readers to form their own judgments. Everything I said can be fact checked and verified.

@@Davbach01 Where does one start? The fact is that the US and UK hate Russia and they have been trying to own it for many decades. President Putin came along and stopped their nefarious intentions. They hate him for it. Maybe listen to Putin's famous 2007 Munich speech. He criticized what he called the United States' monopolistic dominance in global relations, and its "almost uncontained hyper use of force in international relations". He said the result of such dominance was that "no one feels safe". Putin’s Munich speech was an important diplomatic warning to the United States and its allies that Russia’s patience with NATO’s encroachment was at an end. At the end of the Cold War the US/Nato promised Russia that it would not move "one inch east of the German border". Clearly, they lied.

The coup in Kiev in 2014 was fundamentally economic, EU vs Russia. Yet, the "economic" document that defined EU deal with Ukraine in 2013/4 contained a clause that specified Ukraine was to prepare to join NATO. This was reported by the late Yale scholar Stephen F Cohen who one of the few people who read the enormous document given to Ukraine by the EU in 2013.
Even before Eisenhower 1961 farewell address to the nation, Yale sociologist C Wright Mills wrote about the MIC in his 1956 book "The Power Elite". Did anyone listen, or even care?

Good points, in addition Yanakovich in a meeting with Merkel around 2013-2014 said he's only suspending the EU arrangements, not stopping them, as he explained his (Ukraine's) economy is heavily dependent on trade with Russia. Merkel simply rejected a transition period expecting, as Yanukovych put it, allowing European imports to flood our country will cause huge economic disruption and instability.
Within a few months US and EU resolved that problem with the coup d'état.

@@Davbach01 yes. Although i lost the source (damn it), but i swear it said, Yanukovich chastised his own Party of Regions in spring of 2013 (if i recall correctly) for wanting an economic deal with Russia without knowing what the EU had to offer. ... During all the noise of the Maidan revolution in Dec 2013, i think it was, Putin himself proposed Ukraine be given "special" status being able to have economic deal with both Russia and the EU. Merkel initially went along with it, until the EU and Washington shut it down emphatically.

Medvedev was quite vocal, and understandably queried the reasoning behind Ukraine being locked into the EU for trade.
He saw no reason for them not to trade with Russia or any other country. Simply EU in CIS out.

The arguments i read against Scott’s educated opinion are becoming more unpredictable and scatter brained. Most establishment media arguments end up conflicting past statements. The most notorious tactic I see being used is the same old lines of attacking the messenger or try to discredit them. It’s not working this time. Their playbook ran out the of pages

But his way of seeing/interpreting the world make this same world a reasonable and transparent place. One can only hope for apprehension and reason for the sake of all of us.
