I don’t think that is going to play out as well for the US as Ukraine did. Asians are nowhere near the warring people that Europeans are. There are Pentagon analysts who say that if China would invade Taiwan, Taiwan wouldn’t fight and would just fold like a lawn chair. Asians have all seen and lived through war in their lifetimes already and want nothing to do with it. I also don’t think the US could get a country in Asia to kill itself like Ukraine has, after that country has seen what has become of Ukraine. People aren’t quite that stupid.

The only solution to ensure freedom-of-speech, is to mandate that for every comment they delete (or even worse, shadow-ban), they need to provide a detailed explanation, with specific reasons for their actions. And not just a quickie stock response.
It's not that the United States do not have the know how or the facility to develop delivery systems. It's the philosophy and there is a gulf of difference between the American approach to warfare and Russia's approach. We put too much faith on air superiority and of course we are leading in that area. Russia, on the other hand, didn't see that much prospect in investing too much in planes and went the other way with missiles and its delivery systems, which is looking to be the more reliable and effective in an actual war of attrition. It's a rude awakening for the Pentagon. We are realizing that our stealth planes may not be that effective after all, neither practical due to over the top maintenance cost, and the ridiculous amount of time it takes for these delicate machinery to be repaired. Besides, we are years behind in missile and its delivery systems. Coming up with a concept and building it successfully to outmatched enemy weapons take years, decades. Scott Ritter have also been telling this fact, so does Colonel McGregor.
Interesting because I've watched a documentary about Russia during 90's and while their military suffered, Russia never stopped funding their R & D in the military. That sure explains a thing or two.

A lot of effort goes into perpetuating the myth of "russian superiority" over the west. After the cold war we found that many of the perceived threats were either non existent or greatly overblown. Having said that I'll freely admit that the Russians are not to be underestimated and they are capable people, which is why they must be stopped in Ukraine and pushed back to their side of the border.

It's not that the United States do not have the know how or the facility to develop delivery systems. It's the philosophy and there is a gulf of difference between the American approach to warfare and Russia's approach. We put too much faith on air superiority and of course we are leading in that area. Russia, on the other hand, didn't see that much prospect in investing too much in planes and went the other way with missiles and its delivery systems, which is looking to be the more reliable and effective in an actual war of attrition. It's a rude awakening for the Pentagon. We are realizing that our stealth planes may not be that effective after all, neither practical due to over the top maintenance cost, and the ridiculous amount of time it takes for these delicate machinery to be repaired. Besides, we are years behind in missile and its delivery systems. Coming up with a concept and building it successfully to outmatched enemy weapons take years, decades. Scott Ritter have also been telling this fact, so does Colonel McGregor.

Interesting because I've watched a documentary about Russia during 90's and while their military suffered, Russia never stopped funding their R & D in the military. That sure explains a thing or two.

I'll be reductive for the sake of brevity.The 90s were a volatile time for the russian federation, budgetary issues were endless and thinking that R&D received adequate funding is ridiculous, everything that wasnt nailed down was being sold, anything that resembled an asset was auctioned off to the highest bidder. A lot of effort goes into perpetuating the myth of "russian superiority" over the west. After the cold war we found that many of the perceived threats were either non existent or greatly overblown. Having said that I'll freely admit that the Russians are not to be underestimated and they are capable people, which is why they must be stopped in Ukraine and pushed back to their side of the border.

That obviously means they planned to control the entire world. Russia during that time was in terrible shape as you pointed out but that does not explain why the Russian's have a military advantage on the west while they suffered after the Soviet Union was broken up. Their anti-air and anti-missile technology is second to none and I don't believe a thing Ukraine or the Israeli's say. They're like the American's they lie.
