This song almost makes me wanna cry. I was born in the 90’s but I already know the 80’s was the best decade in human history and things will never be the same
This track should have been on the soundtrack. I remember when I was 6. I would rewind the tape over and over because that song sounded awesome. Great to finally hear a full decent quality version!
Yea but that turn that Daniel did whilst dancing looked totally ghhhhhay I mean never ever just went in and kissed Jessica or anything what a let down lolz
No. This is far too perfect to be affiliated with the new series, albeit good. This can never be anything but 1989, yet it remains eternal, and it keeps going...
If they do use this song in season 4 let's at least hope it's the original version by Glenn Medeiros and not some butchered Lorde remake like they did with Cruel Summer and In the Air Tonight.
@@BillReilly1979 yeah can't wait for the real Terry Silver. I knew instantly who Krease was phoning at the end of season 3 since him and Twig (Silvers nickname in Vietnam) were the only 2 people alive in the photo kease was holding. The 3rd guy with the ponytail was killed. I guessing season 4 will reveal how that guys ponytail influenced Silvers ponytail in the 80's. Can't wait🤗
Why didn'r they put that song to the official soundtrack. We can hear it in the famous club scene in Karata Kid III so I can't see the reasons. Where were it released instead of the Karate Kid III official soundtrack?
Kk3 had good ideas, but was overshadowed of a repeat of the kk1 plot. Plus, Ralph Macchio's acting was off at times, plus he could've been aged up a bit. He was terry silver's age in 1989, meaning both were pushing 30.
IDK why but on the solo-pitch change, the only thing that came to my head was that scene of Steins;Gate 0 where Okabe/Kyouma rescues Mayuri and Suzuha on the time machine
I'm feeling cruel here, but there's a reality of this mythology of Larasso and Miyagi being sorely overlooked, the whole time the films of the 80's (specifically), were actually in the present. (1) A 17 year-old, 'kickin it', with an old man, did not seem strange, or odd? (2) Miyagi's training was of NO use, unless under tournament, circuit rules, and regulations. On the street, in every part, he always lost. Bruce Lee would not have taught him this. "Daniel-san, this not tournament. This real..." ? Yes, I do remember that line, as I watched the film at the time in the Cinema and then on videotape with far too many sweets my Aunt had bought me. Anyway. He beat the guy with a hand-drum, and tweaked his nose. This was filmed. And it has no credibility, and these are films I cherish. The music is what saved it, kept it glued together, and has allowed it to remain in constant memory. It has also provided the confidence, to the makers, to revive the mythology, nigh on 40 years later, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Good Vision and Atmos. However, the program it sets forth; has always been nonsense, and always will be.

I can picture Jessica and Daniel dancing in the movie at the dance club
Who doesn't love when he does those spins while dancing I was so stoned on weed I almost had a heart attack when I saw that

It made Daniel so thirsty he could drink a horse.
3 dislikes are from Kreese, Silver and Barnes
UPDATE:
I am aware that UA-cam has now taken down the dislikes but before this video had 3 dislikes
Maybe Chosen and Sato as well lol.
Don't forget Snake and Dennis.
The guy who got punched in the nose at club hated this first.
😭😂😂
Terry Silver paid UA-cam to remove the dislikes
“If I don’t get a drink soon, I’m gonna die.”

Soundtrack from this movie needs a rerelease with this song included. Great song
Bring back the 80s!!! 😃
Yes because this era sucks

This track should have been on the soundtrack. I remember when I was 6. I would rewind the tape over and over because that song sounded awesome. Great to finally hear a full decent quality version!
Lol ha I did the same !! It’s a great tune!!!
Same here, I wondered wy they left this on out?
It took me a while to find a good version.I found it on some other channel then it was deleted. Glad I found it here
It's a masterpiece. You were not alone. 👈
It's a classic!!!!
Songs like this make me wish i had lived the 80s in their purest moments.
512 likes for this song is unacceptable.
Should be at least 1 million
This song can't get any more Eighties if it tried 😅, I love it. I agree it should be as popular as Cruel Summer, Glory of Love, and You're the Best.
Terry be paying people to not like this video 💀💀💀
This movie could have been the bomb if Brandon Lee was casted as Barnes. He was so full of vitality and energy!
Daniel punching mitch from real genius and breaking his nose 👃
Hey, bonehead! I'm taking her home!

Sounds different than the version they played in the film. I loved how it sounded in the film.
@Tom Good for you!

Was that Paul Stanley(of KISS) singing back-up & playing guitar?
