    If we were to get 3 more premium deck sets with sub clans from the limit break erra but with another gift marker, I'd love accel clans to get them. And the sub-clans I'd LOVE to get support would be, Liberators, Eradicators and Beast Deities.

      @@extremelyvividcardgames7890 definitely cool to see Accel clans getting their premium decksets. I was being more reasonable with Protect being next because Accel can have its own crazy scaling issues if not handled properly ha.

    I would love to see a yearly premium collection that included a stride, a g-guard. And 3 cards that go into the main deck (could even be V legal).
    I think it’s not crazy to make promos for Premium similar to how they do it with Standard. Now I have a locals to attend and get these promos, so that’s what makes me say so, people without a locals would probably hate that. But it would speed up promos for every clan. Premium locals’s prize support is not that exciting because the promos are unexciting.
    Beyond that, I’m fine with any Premium support just being from Standard. I actually like that Premium changes more slowly than Standard. Standard is the format that’s always fresh and dynamic. Premium is the format that’s STABLE and changes slowly. This is why Premium has felt super balanced and healthy since History Collection and Standard has gone through waves. It’s harder to balance a format that gets support every month.
    If you’re finding Premium stale…. Try Standard? That format is basically never old because it gets supported all the time. I ALWAYS have multiple decks I’d be excited to take to locals.

      I would LOVE for another Premium collection! That's a great suggestion too in that ratio you mentioned. Would help spice this up again.
      Yeah not sure if promos would be the best. I mainly suggested the idea since they are doing it already then why not make it more premium based.
      I have enjoyed Premium being slower than Standard in terms of drastic changes. Plus can have more time to explore other existing decks.
      Yep Standard is definitely dynamic. I do enjoy it for what it is. But ultimately I go back to Premium lol

    Jaime, sorry i don't understand something: why did you talk about the standard decksets if you wanted to talk about premium? I mean, I don't see Luard or Shiranui Decksets' cards being played in premium (maybe I'm wrong). Does that mean you can use standard decksets in premium too?

    • @CommanderJaime
      @CommanderJaime  4 місяці тому

      @@consulemanimedrawings2275 what we've seen over the years, the respected clans have used the cards and Crest from the Standard Decksets in Premium. Currently, Shiranui Premium is using the Crest and the restanders. You can look around at the results for BSF Tri format season.
      So my point is that it wasn't directly a Premium format product, but it did impact the metagame. Hope that helps clarify.

    I think what needs to be done to really shake up the game is to make nation strides more accessible. We have the zeroth dragons and progenitors, but it has been nearly 7 years since the latter was made. I think going forward it would do 2 things occur in the format.
    1. Easier tech choices, and diversifying the decks playstyles just a bit more. Right now I love premium but cannot deny I am tired of seeing Granblue and Shiranui dominate the meta. Considering you have brought up the point that Nightrose will soon get to use the Zoo nation strides is something that will at least add some diversity to people's stride decks. And I think all clans should have that treatment. I mean, who doesn't want Gredora in every zoo deck? or a dragonic overlord esq card for Tachikaze?
    2. I think it is time we begin to ban more cards to allow older / different archetypes per clan rise up the ranks. At the moment, Katrina, Shiranui, Nightrose, and Chaos Breaker are solved decks that have had 1-2 years to run this game essentially. I understand banning some of their best cards might cause some to leave the game, but shaking up a metagame in any fashion can breathe a lot more life into the game. As well as any products that they wish to sell outside of these top decks can then be further looked into more as true contenders. I truly do believe the reason why the revenger deck had initially flopped on release is because it just cannot compete with the top 2 decks. If Nightrose and Shiranui get nerfed, imagine the actual excitement to try other decks.

    • @CommanderJaime
      @CommanderJaime  4 місяці тому +1

      You mention really good points. I do like the idea of using strides into different clans. I remember one of my friends played in G Era a tourney full of main based decks. Like a Nightrose core with access to Tidal Assault, Spica, Olyvia, Alexandros, etc.
      Yes some of the top decks do make it challenging for others to shine. I'm still waiting for BCS season to see if Raging Form does make some appearance but it does have its own issues.

      @@TTPMMA I’m not sure what you’re saying is accurate.
      Shiranui one came into its own once the stride deckset came out.
      Katrina’s current version only came into its own once Enlargulv dropped. Same with Nightrose.
      Heck, even before Enlargulv or the Stride deckset, all of those decks needed History Collection. When did that come out? A year ago.
      So those decks have all been developed over time. They are far from “decks that have been solved for 1-2 years now.”
      I think your timeline is a bit skewed.
      I do like the idea of nation strides, but I think the most interesting way they could be used is by making them a payoff for playing Persona Ride G3’s in Premium. Give each Standard Nation a nation stride that gets their ability if their heart has the persona ride icon. That would shake up Premium quite a bit because now you have a reason to play all of the Standard G3 bosses in Premium.
      Also give energy to Premium. Errata another Cray Elemental stride that gives you the energy generator.

      @TTPMMA 4 місяці тому

      @@jacobjensen7704 So I will say the deck being "solved" meant more so for recently yes. I did exaggerate their longevity at the top but regardless a year of being at the top, or even half a year in my opinion is too long. We should have some level of change occurring, be it new support or banlist.

    Premium seems like a dying format to me. It feels like Bushiroad doesn't care about Premium other than to milk 4x stride deck set sales in English. History collection limited the meta to focus on the superior stride bosses which killed a big appeal of Premium - creativity and diversity. No new ban lists. Giving accel a crest was the final straw for me. Honestly, Standard has come a long way since release and I find myself enjoying it more at this point.

      Standard has come a long way. To your point, one can say the Standard Decksets are a way for them to slowly end Premium but keep their Premium veterans still playing.
      Personally I've enjoyed playing Shiranui in Standard. I'm hoping the same with Nightrose and Harri once they're out.
      If Premium becomes an eventually legacy format, that's fine by me. Then the community can host events and even have modified ban lists to make the format more diverse as well. Basically if Bushiroad won't make the metagame better, then let the community take it from there.

      @@andylarson2513 I think you’re exaggerating a bit.
      1) We’ve gotten a dedicated Premium product every year since the release of Standard. That’s more than we can say for V.
      2) Saying that History Collection killed the creativity and diversity in the format is a WILD take. History Collection REALLY shook up the Premium metagame that had devolved into a ride down meta. I’ve never once felt like the History Collection superior strides have been oppressive or mandatory. Quite the contrary, it created SO many cool new decks.
      3) Premium has gotten ban lists when it needed them. We haven’t had a new banlist for a while because….. honestly, I don’t think the format needs one. There’s no deck that’s overly dominant. There’s lots of decks you could realistically do well with at a regional, and there’s basically a deck in every clan that you could take to locals and have a great time with. Why fix what’s not broken?
      4) Why is an Accel clan having a Crest a big deal? Besides Luard, literally every single Crest deck does a ton of attacks. Why is Accel so scary?

      1) Hardly. I'm assuming you're coping on the recent decksets that only affected 3 clans. I know you're not counting promos because then idk what you're talking about with V.
      2) I never said the meta didn't change. It's just centered on the superior strides.
      3) Your opinion.
      4) Honestly can't tell if you're trolling at this point. Kind of feel sorry for you if you're not. Let me spell it out for you. Decks designed to attack 8-10+ times a turn with +10k-30k to the front row.

    Lets be honest here with ourselves. Premium is a dying format, bushi definitely 100% didn't care for it. If it's not dying then bushi will make another booster set to support it. The reason they support it they want to give a illusion they do care about premium.
    The biggest prove of this is the existence of energy generator and energy as a whole. Bushi 80% chance won't ever make it to premium format because they made it so they can make cards that actually good in standard and wont wreck havocs in premium. Remember what happens with order colony? Yeah they definitely want to avoid that.😊
    The moment overdress is in a very good spot bushi definitely gonna drop premium forever. The only Vanguard that bushi recognise will be only overdress standard.
    Sadly we can't change bushi mind in this. Even japan agree with bushi. We english player genuinely just coping for it. We are a second class citizen here. We dont have any say
