To place first, you must race through four stages and pass all of the 15 competitors by the end of the final race; you start each stage in the position that you finished in the last one. Since the game only spawns in a certain number of opponents per stage, it is important to pass as many as possible before each race ends. To even have a chance of finishing the championship in first place, you must finish the Desert stage in 11th place, the Mountain stage in 6th, and the Snowy stage in 5th.
I find Mountain to be the most challenging stage: it has two hairpin corners and both are especially unforgiving, especially for beginners who might not expect fast and difficult turns so early in the game. An early mistake made on the first one might keep you from having a chance to pass the final car since the AI is frustratingly fast through the final hairpin and the last few turns of this stage. This will leave you stuck in 7th place and will put you out of the running for the top spot, no matter how well you do on the final two courses.

nice driving, are you using the handbrake at all during any of the turns? I can only get to the end of the mountain stage at the moment. by the way if you are using the super model emulator, press 6 to enter test mode, 5 to scroll down to game adjustments and you can change the region code from Japan to USA :)
ive only just got it workinig this weekend with my G29 wheel, its very twitchy and sensitive but as of today I have made it to the end of the snowy stage twice :) Impreza seems to be the best car for me at the moment. I didnt know about F5 and F7 though, every day is a skool day lol
when I first started I couldnt keep any of the cars in a straight line! its harder than SR championship 1995 lol
I know and I've had to tweak both games. im using x360ce to fool supermodel into thinking its an xbox controller to give me xipunt. my settings on the Logitech profiler are below 190 dgrees and approx 90% sensitivity on both games. im not quite there yet i think. I have built a driving cab here at home. got ridgde racer and NFS etc. setting this stuff up isnt for the faint hearted lol . I dont like FFB but the option is there if I want it
