3:31 that bend on the 6th fret right is perfect. So many covers of the solo don't hit the full note change and it ruins the transition to the next part. Not hitting it is like ending a paragraph before another one word early. You still get the gist but misses the nuance that made Marty the guitar god that he. And he's spoken about how he does get into the weeds of specific notes on his pieces, as he's a very knowledgeable in music theory (even without formal training). It's why imo even when Marty messes up the solo live or cuts down some parts it still sounds right bc he keeps the nuances and makes him hard to replicate. I don't blame guitarists for missing it as it's an extremely difficult solo, but I'm glad Cole made sure to do it right.
Rhythm is like it's synced to an atomic clock, every bend is perfect...so many covers of this and other songs are just "not quite". You make it look effortless...fully under control to matter how fast it is. The big man himself left a comment! Wow!

ye marty doesnt really do the massive stretch live. jumps to the 12th fret instead of staying on 10 when the 10 to 17 stretch comes along in the actual song. guessing he cant do it comfortably standing up.
Obviously,everybody is talking about the insane Marty Friedman solo but hardly nobody mentions the amazing rythm-guitar parts by Dave Mustaine when talking about this song. Just that outro-riff alone is so good,other bands would have put this as the main riff. EDIT: Any idiot who claims that "Mustaine is not a good guitar player",should self-quarantine him/her-self from youtu be comments for at least 10 days. Not only has good ol´Dave written some of the most intricate riffs in the Thrash-Metal genre but he also manages to find some insanely skilled lead guitarists who complement his rythm work. Guys like Chris Poland,Marty Friedman,Al Pitrelli,Chris Broderick,Kiko Loureiro, all absolute beasts on guitar.
I've been following Cole for years now, and every single time he comes out with a new video, I just want to grab my guitar and practice! He is the reason I bought my first electric guitar but I always stop after a couple weeks. I can't stay motivated enough. I think today is the day I actually start playing guitar for real! (again)

Dave’s guitar is constantly playing BUT there is space throughout, from the subtle 1 note breaks, to his his creative use of octaves as well as the step up and downs in 2or 3 bars, not just a progressive fret to fret ascending or descending pattern. I love all types of hard rock and metal, but the guitars on any megadeth song are able to breathe and be heard

Allegedly, if you watch his videos with paul gilbert where they guitar duel, it's pretty evident he's not good at improvising. I'd like to believe it but I don't think it's improvised, I think it was a well rehearsed and pocketed solo. That being said if you have any proof I'd like to hear it.

I think it is also, seen many. I play the solo myself to very close accuracy. Friedman’s style is so wild, I think you have the closest replica.
