I didn't leave a dislike but this is really only like half a cover because he is playing with the original tracks. He mixed his guitar ever so slightly in there, but anyone with trained ears can hear the original track in there. He should be more transparent that a lot of what you are hearing is NOT him, it's Kirk or James.
@@ShredHeads Wrong very pal. He is playing EVERYTHING right and it's the best cover of this song out there. You can clearly hear his guitar over the whole song, and ANYONE A WITN EARS car hear that. This guy has covered TTFAF at 16 better than most at older ages. It's sad people like you dismantle such amazing guitarists because they have way better skill and tone than you. Also, a cover means you play over a song, not cut out the original, and enter sandmans guitars are not that loud so you can't POSSIBLY hear the original guitars.
@@guitarsandcars2586 I don't hate on anyone just pointing out his lack of transparency. He is a great player and you are implying that I think he is not, which I never said. You are also claiming that my tone and abilities suck compared to cole. And I'm the hater? The only criticism I gave was that he is CLEARLY playing along with the original Guitar tracks. I am not the only one who has noticed, several others have commented this as well. During the solo especially it's clear as DAY that he is playing along with kirk's recorded guitar. You can even hear where his phrasing was a little off and he didn't start or end a lick at the exact time kirk did so it sounds like two guitars playing at the same time. A more proper cover of the song would be to play with a backing track or the isolated drum track and mix your own guitars in. It's not difficult to do this. The isolated drum and vocal tracks can easily be found online due to Guitar Hero Metallica which has the master tracks for the different instruments. There is a reason he doesn't just release his isolated guitar tracks he recorded to silence the criticism about it.
Cole has one of the best ways of play guitar i can tell he loves doing it and he feels the music and plays it like he write it and it is amazing keep it up cole love it

This song is the reason why I started learning to play guitar last week. I sort of have the beginning riff down (a bit choppy as I’ve only been playing for a week), but you have to start somewhere right! It will be a LONG time with hundreds/thousands of hours of practice before I can play the full song. Someday, I hope to smash this song as well as you did!

I've been playing for 15 years and remember thinking the same as you ! - Stay dedicated, keep practicing and be patient with yourself ... Biggest tip I can give you is learn slow. Don't try and shred early on. Play slowly and perfect your notes, then gradually increase the speed.

It was prob added in post, with some digital guitar recorders you can add effects to something you already recorded.
Simple.. it's FAKE. Everything has to be done in post and they just do it for show.
