@@luismagana4079 I used a squiggy and q tips. Q tips to get into hard crevices. Also relatively easy. Just clean the surface good and keep a small alcohol wipe by. Also I used teal blue acrylic.
Thank you for your honesty. I am a new gun owner and the gun is a G3c. Right off the bat. I'm having jam issues. With the mag in and 6 rounds (12 rnd mag). I rack the slide- and it doesn't return all the way flush with back of pistol, creating a jam with a chambered round. Being new this scenario scares me. I take the mag out, verify a round in the chamber, and start racking that slide back as hard as I can and on about the 4th pull that round ejects. Any ideas as why it's hanging up? Thanks oh and I have cleaned and oiled her up
Hey sorry I’m getting to you so late. If you haven’t already, pull the firearm apart, and check for any burrs or foreign material that may be left over from machining processes on the feed ramp of your barrel. Also check your extractor. It sounds as if your extractor is bent and causing it to hang up when you’re attempting to cycle the firearm. Get back to me and let me know!
I did forget to mention one thing to you. If you haven’t already, check all of the magazines you have for the pistol. Clean the springs, oil them lightly, and check for any deformities. I’ve gotten a few pistols that came with bad mags from the factory.

Maybe feeding issues. Polish the feed ramp
