Love Shimano reels! Would love to see more instructional videos from you. Maybe just some short technique vids? Love how humble you are, unlike a lot of bass videos on you tube.
Been waiting to see a close up of the new Vanford. I don’t have any Vanfords but when I saw this at icast I knew I would have to have one. Thanks for the look see!😊
Nice gear. Always loved Shimano though we use more budget friendly models. We loved following your Maine adventure and look forward to more content from wherever. Upon your return in May 2025 if you get out to the big lake, Moosehead, there is some unbelievable SM action. Locals mostly hate on the smallies but they are there and they are big. Managed a 5lb plus in our limited fishing there over each of last 3 yrs minus electronics. Enjoy!
Oh.... Next year, we are planning to spend some time at Moosehead in the camper. I love big Smallies but my biggest is only 18.5". Thanks so much for all the support on my channel! Really appreciate ya'll!!
I have probably 8 Shimano Sienna 2500hg reels all ~$25 a piece from walmart. No complaints, but having never used a high end reel maybe I don't know what I am missing? Are these 10x more expensive reels night and day over the "value" reels or just a case of having to spend a lot to hit that top performance? (Like mountain bikes: A $2000 bike shaves you 6 pounds off a $400 bike, but shaving 7 pounds will cost you $4000)
I'll never buy a cheap reel again. These are THAT good. Durable, dependable, and smooth as silk. Is it worth the extra money?? For me ... that's a big YES. But it depends on your personal preference and budget.
Shimano makes some amazing reels. Looks great
They sure do. That's all I buy.

thanks for the suggestion. I'll try to work in some how - to vids soon. A lot of the stuff I do is literally trial and error!
