Plus Duggos steadying influence to keep things on track you have banner years ahead of you. This is one of the best shows on here, I hope you keep us along for the ride.

I know there is nothing worse than unsolicited advice, but Dougo.... PLEASE don't exert yourself till your eye heals. We have a neighbor that had the same surgery and decided to lug some 80 lb bags of supplement and he permanently messed up his eye. I don't know you personally, but I consider you folks as "farm family " and we don't want to see you get hurt.
Deja 3 stooges, or 3 amigos, or a trio I can't think of. You guys rarely have a serious moment. If we all followed your example I would be more happy and less envious. Hey Chet, Could you provide an affiliate link to your spot free rinse water system? If not, just a general link? It looks like it's a reverse osmosis type, which is what I've been wanting to switch over to. For 20 years now, I've been using a CR SpotLess system (which uses de-ionizing resin to remove minerals from the water), and while it works *very* well, having to continuously buy resin for it is a bit of a drag. The water here is so hard it's darn near crunchy, so I go through a ton of resin. One nice thing about the CR SpotLess system, though, is that you can just attach it to a garden hose and you'll get completely mineral free water out the other side; makes it really easy to use with a pressure washer. You're doing the right thing with a reverse osmosis system for spot free rinse water... good on ya. Normal household water softeners exchange one type of mineral in water for salt, which leaves you with salt marks when the water dries, and it doesn't remove all minerals from water like a reverse osmosis or a complete de-ionizing resin like what's used in the CR Spotless system.
It's not a snowstorm if there's no video of it. Fun times servicing equipment. Do you send the used fluids to town or do you have a used oil burner in the shop. I imagine you have a few gallons of used oil at the end of servicing everything.
I like to see you guys have some fun while you work. I tried to have that type of atmosphere at the factory I managed with 75 employees. It was more productive than being an overlord type. People like to be asked rather than told. My employees liked the fact that I would work right there with them if needed
Reverse osmosis water rinse system. Nice unit. We use same system for our drinking water. It takes 15 gallons of unfiltered water to make one gallon of drinking water.

A water conditioner basically salt brine does same thing. removes hard water or reconditions water. Works for my shop but that cool. My conditioner was $5700 for whole house and shop and is self cleaning. just a little info Chet & TBSweed

I 62 years old and I never had a driver's license, but I have gotten a couple fines for no driver's license!!! Lol I learned how to drive a vehicle on my friends farm driving the old truck to get out to the woods for firewood and making Maple Syrup in the Surp Shack
Be careful with that eye. I had the vitrectomy done on both eyes and got a little too aggressive during the recovery and ended up with a detached retina in each eye. So back to surgery again twice and the retina surgery recovery was even longer and more restrictive. Just take your time and be careful. Good eyesight is precious. Great video content by the way. It is very interesting to learn all the ins and outs of farming.
Love you guys, but can I ask one favor? Upgrade your mic or something. I have to constantly adjust my volume to hear you. The volume really drops as soon as you turn your head from the camera. And then you yell across the shop at Dougo and ear piercing. Idk, just saying.
Chet I've been watching your channel from the start and you have a n eye for good tools but you are buying junk pliers you need to invest in some Knipex pliers and you will throw them channel lock pliers in the trash! Awesome video
You need me to set up your store system, this is one of the things I helped with for a 5 billion dollar a year industry, very easy to set up on the computer for auto reorder and value placement as well as a SKU system...but you can find people like me a dime a dozen oh and I can type six words a minute with only 7 or less mistokes a miunte, (joke) I can do around 44 words a minute with less than two mistakes a minute...
fellas, its called a "flat" or "flat headed " screwdriver here in Canada. Never heard of a negative one. 😊😊. Agree with the comment on why people work late. ..so a person can get something done when the meetings are over and the darn phone stops ringing. Should be able to get that loader/backhoe heater core (AKA radiator) tested and repaired a lot cheaper than buying a new one.

Seriously guys, if there is a water softener available, use that water to charge your reverse osmosis,, , otherwise you will be changing membranes very regularly and they are not cheap!
That is a cool antler you found my cousin actually had a buck walk right up to him that had an antler growing into his skull something was not right mentally with the deer and my cousin dispatched it to put it out of its misery. That buck shed you found, as he gets older may end up with a very unusual rack.

I believe the handle on the forklift is the engine clutch disconnect. It’s for starting the engine in cold weather.
Is that a way to disengage the hydraulic pump for starting?

That little radiator is a heater core and I would find a old truck heater core and fab it to fit average old Chevy truck core cost’s $40

If I remember correctly from operating a JD 480 series 45ish years ago, the unused t-handle on the right side of the seat is a clutch disconnect.

I’m not JD mechanic but a quick look online…if that “never used” lever goes to the tranny, it might be the differential lock.

It's the engine clutch disconnect. The differential lock is mounted at the base of the seat and operated with your heel.
For that rad go to a place where they repair busses you can find it for about $70.00

I use the terms flat tip and Phillips for the two most common screwdrivers.
When parking that 510.. put those stabalizers down to take pressure off those seals!!
