Moved to tears. I lost my twin brothers 14 months apart to an accidental overdose. It's RECOVERY MONTH and I pray every person that needs to hear these words do. As long as you're living it's not too late! Families live with a lifetime of pain over losing their loved one. Every person is worth it. Put the bottle down. Pick up the phone. Ask for help.
Grew up on that Grayson /Ohio county line , great song, fought those demons my self and lost so many family and friends in these little small towns ! Keep it up brother

I've battled with a opioid addiction since I was 18. Now 33 years old, I've been sober for a year and half and I can honestly say God had worked a Is miracle in my life! I can relate to this song so much! It reminds me of how my family and friends felt when I was in active addiction. This song will always stay on my play list. Keep up the good work buddy!

This song brings tears to my eyes . I had 12 years off heroin and 10 years off methadone amd Suboxone, I slipped anout 8 mos ago and my life has been a living hell. @Elvie Shane...I lost my mom on Feb. 10th 2009. They called it a "heart attack". But when I went into her home and saw those orange bottles with white lids all over her nightstand, I knew. The doctor will not admit he had her at toxic levels of narcotics. She was only 56 years old. I was 25 and became an orphan. I had to tell my 3 babies, Grandma went to Heaven. The pain is no less, but this song makes me feel a little less alone. God Bless You Elvie. Thank you for putting out the music that makes us orphans feel a little more like family. ❤️🩹🥹

Obviously, those of us who know those who we've lost sadly like Kim here I'm so sorry to hear you say these much said words to people like yourself and I with your case fam/lil brother and for me a gal friend from high school that was a damn good gal cheerleader and college In so-cal long beach. This song for sure hits home for most people I know and sadly still in the working all the kinks out for my own times of all the repeated missions that always take way longer than you thought they would take. Praying that you can just get through the day and if a person is so called "lucky to have your fix to wake up too" it's something we all know too well or have those people that you wonder if they have the same problem or something similar to the effed up addiction that we've all been through or seen someone going through either damn way it all sucks but....... Getting to the song sir, what can I say or we all say it's on point and keep up the great work...... Music has always been for me personally that Goodness that helps me want to keep pushing for a better life .....thanks for your true words sir and thank goodness I came across your music. Take care. Sorry for your loss!
My youngest son Shane died of an overdose on 12/31/21. He was 35 and left a mother, father, brother, sister and 3 kids who all had to swallow that most bitter of pills. Thank you for this song, I pray it reaches someone before it's too late.
