Thanks for this reaction to Geoff's solo Christmas tune. Judging by the album art, he broke something with this one! Epic! I love the way that Geoff arranges music, too! Geoff and Kathy went to a new location to film this by themselves using multiple cameras on tripods and with a tight timeline to film there. Apparently they had a busy holiday week between filming, Geoff editing the video, and dropping to patrons by week's end.
Great reaction! And funny you call it a battle song. On Patreon it was already dubbed Christmas Battle Song by fans xD As for putting it on radio, I fear that would break speakers worldwide if they aren't good enough quality ^^'
I've decided that I am not going to try to identify a favorite from Geoff anymore. I didn't think I would like anything as well as his version of God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen but here we are.....
If one day we find that Geoff has four other brothers, for real, and that all of them can sing bass... well, we must pray for they not singing together at the same time. That would be the end of the world. Can you imagine earthquakes everywere ?
It took me many years to realize that what “scary ghost stories” refers to is my favorite book “A Christmas Carol”. I was always perplexed because Christmas isn’t a scary ghost story type of holiday usually and I’ve never thought of Scrooge’s journeys with the Ghosts as a ghost story. 😅. Thanks for you reaction - when Geoff hits those notes…yes, let’s have a battle hymn at Christmas. 😌
EXACTLY! The essence of the meaning of Christmas - The tone reverberates the power of the event. Not to be taken lightly. When I read the production notes I really get a feel for Geoff's talents Happy Holidays to you and yours
I think he also nailed the sound of the biggest, baddest bell ever forged! I keep imagining the Hunchback swinging on it in the belfry - before it fell to the ground.
This one is both gorgeous and ominously delicious in sound and feel, the arrangement is spectacular, the performance is unearthly!!! It is a Ukrainian carol, and this seems particularly moving to me bearing in mind their suffering in their war-ravaged country. He sings it like an incredibly powerful WAR anthem to encourage them. I don't know if that's what he was thinking in his arrangement and production of this, but it's a perspective that strikes me as especially relevant. Oh, and I really loved your song at the end...very sweet! Merry Christmas!
The reason most people are used to hearing Christmas carols in a higher register is long ago most of the people who went out caroling were women and children. The reason for this is the low ratio of women in the work place. Now the situation is different but the melodies are already established so we do not hear lower registers much due to tradition.
If we find out there are actually four more Geoffs, then four more women are going to be very happy. And I will fight my way to the front of that line. Kathy can’t marry all five!

Not only is Geoff a phenomenal singer he is also a genius arranger. He somehow taps into the soul. Thanks so much for your reaction
The "dragon soul" is strong in this one 😂❤
The arrangement is amazing and EPIC 🙏🏼
Spectacular in every way - vocals and a brilliant arrangement!

He fimed this the day before Thanksgiving, edited shorts after. Patreons have been watching it for a week.

that is a beautiful song made me think of family that is gone. Thank you

Bass drops when he hits that G1-Eb1-F1-D1. All in chest/subharmonics
This would have been great in "Die Hard". Where John is belly ctawling through the air ducts or when Hans Gruber falls from the tower.
Nice remark about this arrangement/rendition leaning into the mystery and glory of Christmas. 💯agree!
Epic rendition.👍👍
Incredible!

Your reaction videos make me smile, and what a nice surprise to hear your duet at the end!! That was genuinely lovely.
Well.. the original title is Ukrainian bell song. And for this country at this time a marching christmas anthem is the right thing.
I think he also nailed the sound of the biggest, baddest bell ever forged! I keep imagining the Hunchback swinging on it in the belfry - before it fell to the ground.
Geoff v. Krampus. Geoff won by summoning 5 dragons and an earthquake.
That wasn't a song - it was an onslaught. Loved it, though!

He's an alien with an unlimited number of clones. 😊
Who knew Carol of the Bells could be scary? And so good.
Dragons need Christmas Carols too!!! 🐉🐉🐉🐉🐉
I can sing nearly as low as Geoff... you know... within an octave or two...🤔...or three!😂😂
Honestly, he is awesome! Thank you!

Who sang this song? Thor, Jack Skellington, Bruce Willis or Smaug? Great reaction. Geoff slayed this song. Dang!
Please react Perrie You Go Your Way live at Jingle Bell Ball, the vocals, Perrie killing it, react please!
Love your christmass song why don't you put it alone on youtube ?
Why is the video covered? No one else’s is. 😢
Oops video covered😭😭
Remember that this is a Ukrainian Christmas carol so the warfare motif is really appropriate.
Christmas battle hymn of the Ukrainian military.
:)
