Hi, may I know your good name.. as you suggested, went through page 36 in brother LX27NT for g etting equal thickness in button hole. It’s mentioned, that using fine adjustment screw, we can set equal thicknes. You must be knowing know, which side should we turn the screw ‘+’ or ‘-‘ sign,. Pl ease tell know. I have been trying to adjust it towards plus sign point by doing trials. Still didn’t get. So only asking you again. Sorry for the trouble.. pls don’t mind. 😊
I just bought a compatible buttonhole foot for my singer Quantum 9960 stylus. The part number that singer either does not make anymore or I cannot find it anywhere, is #HP32948. The compatible foot in your video does NOT look like the one I was sent by singeronline. It looks to me that the one you have here would work in the 9960. Can you check to see which one will work? My problem with the one I just recieved is that the upright bar on the foot does NOT seem to work with the buttonhole lever on the quantum...thanks
According to our records, HP32948 is the only one that will work with the 9960. As you said, it has been discontinued. It looks like there are currently no options on the market available for your machine. I'm very sorry 😟
I've had very good results using the automatic buttonhole foot that came with my 4452 Singer machine. However...it doesn't allow for making buttonholes for larger buttons! I would very much appreciate information regarding purchasing an automatic buttonhole that can make buttonholes for larger buttons. I await the collective experience response for this, sadly waiting to be able to finish my Painter Coat. Thank you anyone who can help me on this!
Just got one and had no idea what I was doing. Glad I found this before I returned it.
I've been sewing for a while now and I never knew how to use this so I really appreciate this video....
I'm so happy it helped you!
Very clear and such a great refresher! Haven't done much with buttonholes in quite awhile!
We all need refreshers, don't we!? 😊 Thanks for watching!
So helpful!
Glad it was helpful!
Great tutorial. Thank you
You're very welcome! I appreciate your feedback. Thank you for watching!
thank you for this! can you also do tips on how to do buttonholes on denim waistbands, or any thick/uneven fabric?
You're welcome! Thank you for this suggestion. I will definitely add it to my list.
Very informative, I am a beginner and would like to know more about sewing.
