- Pope Francis has paid the first ever papal visit to the United Arab Emirates. During his two day visit, the pope is due to meet leading Muslim clerics and hold an open air mass in the Muslim-majority kingdom. The historic papal trip is aimed at turning a page in Christian-Muslim relations in the region.

I have a question Judaism is one religion Islam is another religion Catholicism is yet another religion they all have bylaws and customs now I'm a read of the Bible and God has laws Stern laws that are not to be broken so how do we mix all of this up with tolerance and accepting other people's religion? Your opinion shows ignorance. The mission of the Pope’s visit about respecting everyone’s religion. He did not come to teach Catholicism nor change Islam. It’s about harmony and coexistence. UAE in particular is a haven of expatriates who have different religions and has shown tolerance of religions within its legislation which is a good thing.
