I absolutely love this controller for both Apex and Destiny 2, absolutely amazing. And it fixes my biggest issue with 3rd party controllers, namely Scuff, stick drift. As much as I love Scuff if(when) it gets stick drift you're screwed and their customer service isn't the best even within the warranty period. But in my experience it's right after the warranty that the sticks go and then it's $200+ down the drain. I picked up a couple extra sticks with mine so if these do go out like all my Dualsense's have so far(my launch one went out right after warranty, then my cosmic red went out in 9 months and the replacement one just started going bad now with the warranty long gone) I'm covered. I also got a 3 year warranty against ANY damage, including me breaking it myself, from the seller for $15 which I think is an amazing deal for a $200 premium product. So my sticks are covered for a while with anything past that just a $20 fix and anything else I do to it for the next 3 years is also covered. And I also don't use 4 back buttons, I tired it and could never get the hang of it. And really for fos games all you really need is crouch and jump mapped to the back. In Destiny it's the same though I do wish I could map a new unique button for my Titan melee hammer build. In Destiny your normal and powered melee can be mapped to 2 different buttons because by default if you're within range you do a normal melee and further out you do your powered but for something like mini hammer you wanna use powered up close while also having the option to use the normal one. I use the in-game mapping to turn off auto-melee(defaulting to normal up close) and map normal to right click(with finisher taking priority if applicable) and use the default melee button for powered but I always wanted to be able to map a paddle to JUST powered melee and nothing else for that specific build. To my knowledge there's no way to use the back paddles as their own unique buttons despite Destiny's mapping capabilities allowing any amount of buttons possible. Sony needs to add something like an R/L4 as an option for them for games that support that. Oh well, just one more thing a keyboard has an advantage on, near limitless buttons(well more than you could ever use anyway). Other than that this has been my favorite Playstation controller ever and I even like it over the Xbox Elite if just got the stick replacement alone.
This controller is Freaking sick! I got it yesterday, and I'm enjoying the hell out of it. GT7 feels amazing, and it makes me even more hyped for PSVR2! God damn Sony is giving gamers great gaming options. Seriously.
I play pro FIFA. I think this would help with the game a lot. First of all, I like to play with more posession on the ball and quick switch up to create an attack. I use two buttons to lob the ball to switch and need to power up my pass depending on how far is the player. But, with this controller I can just map it to one of the buttons in the back and just focus on powering up. Moreover, it will help me controll the speed of the player while sprinitng by adjusting the trigger senitivity. Also, by adjusting the left stick, I can shoot more precisely on the traget.
This controller should be lasting you a while minimum 2-3 years the major problem with the regular one is stick drift and this solves it. Usually I go through two controllers a year.
Honestly only thing I was told about the new controller was the trigger squeeze with how adjustable the whole controller is that's an amazing deal for such an amazing controller also there are so many times on rainbow six were I almost get the winning kill via headshot but the other player squeezes barely faster then me this might honestly give me that extra edge so I always get those first shots off.
I play siege my self on ps5 and I think changing the joysticks would definitely help since they feel small sometimes and slippery and they trigger button setting will DEFINITELY help a lot
Everyone talks like these pro controllers only make a difference in FPS but in my opinion, they do make a difference in standard adventure games, too. I don't consider myself a hardcore player who plays in the most intense difficulty settings, but even for a standard challenging sessions, one of my biggest complaints in games was not having a way to press buttons without having to remove my thumb from the right stick. For example, jumping while still able to move the camera around, or dodging, or picking up objects, which are usually actions mapped to the face buttons by default in most games. But I'm talking about having a smooth experience, too, and ever since the back buton attachment for the PS4, I've felt a huge difference when playing different games. I got my DualSense Edge on day 1 and the first games I tried it on were Ghost of Tsushima and Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, and something as simple as remapping my jump and dodge buttons (and for GOT, the triangle button which I had mapped for changing stands and now iI had it on the back buttons) made the combat and traversal incredibly smoother as I didn't need to be alternating my right thumb as quickly as possible between the face buttons and the right stick. It still may not be a controller for everyone, even less at that price which I also believe is too steep, but I think both Pros and Casuals can benefit with this kind of controller if someone wants a smoother gaming experience. I use the Elite Series 2 on Xbox the same way and I had a great time using the back buttons for games like A Plague Tale: Requiem :)
100% agree. Games like Elden Ring or even Cuphead have been great with this controller. Setting my dodge to a backpedal or even the sprint button has made the experiences much better.
For GOT, can you map like two button inputs at once? I’d like to use one back button to select and throw concussions (R1+square to select concussions, then L2+R2 to throw) and one back button to select and throw black powders (R1+O to select black powders, then L2+R2 to throw)
People complains about the price. Yet look at Xbox pro series 2 controller you have to buy all the sticks and paddles separately. The big selling point is the ability of replacing the stick units quickly. So instead of buying a new dual sense controller because you developed stick drift. You buy a new stick unit and swap it out in a few seconds. I will be getting the controller just for that. If you don’t like the gloss black it’s easily fixable with a can of flat black plastic spray paint. Just pop it off and paint it. Gives you more of a unique look option you can do on your own and not have to buy custom panels.
I just got into Gran Turismo 7 and I use the paddles as paddle shifters for manual shifting and it definitely made me faster but it’s a lot to pay attention to, but very fun to use.
I just got the stick drift issue on my regular controller while playing RE4R. The drift is on the left stick where my character keeps moving to the left on his own and it's so bad it's unplayable. The only reason I'm getting the Edge controller is for the stick replacement modules. I love that idea. I couldn't find a third party brand that sells a PS5 controller with replacement stick modules so Sony it is for now.
@@merkaturmarjuban9246 the average lifespan of a dualsense is about 5-7 months on average. I had my console in October 2021. I took care of my first one like a baby and it lasted till April 2022. Then the second one lasted till November. I'm currently on my third one with stick drift and the edge might be worth buying especially due to the root cause of the controllers breaking is stick drift overpowering player movements.
Personally to me the price is what the price is. If you actually do research you’ll realize instant triggers alone can go for $40, the grip on both sides can range from $10-$20, the replaceable thumbs sticks if you ever get stick drift are $20 each. On top of all that you gotta look at what it took for them to actually make this whole design while keeping it close to the same design as the regular, as well as what it took to program everything new they added.
I seriously dont know why everyone has such a problem with the price, what are the expecting! its obviously not just a basic controller. The fact you can replace your stick module is worth the price alone.
I don’t get it either. You also get another cord and locking mechanism and a case. They made it worthwhile imo if you add up the price. Scufs start at $200 for just the paddles.
@@sire6551 first of all it’s not made for PC it’s a PlayStation controller, last I remember Sony wasn’t a PC manufacturer and secondly if you don’t like the price go and buy a scuff and see how that totals up for them. It’ll cost more than PS controller short term and long term.
I might get this controller just to be able to map one of the back buttons as “Sprint” in Elden Ring. Having to do the awkward “finger claw” movement to run by holding Circle is such a pain
I’ve had my Series 2 Elite controller for about a year now and I had the first elite controller prior to that. I haven’t own or used a PlayStation in about 19 years, but recently found myself getting the ps5. I ordered my Edge controller almost immediately, because my elite controller on Xbox felt so natural for me. I got kontrol freeks for the sticks but they just don’t sit right with me on the default controller. Here’s to hoping I fall in love with the Edge like I did the Elite!
Coming from buying 2 scufs and them both breaking in less than a month, I'm glad I picked this up, and it comes with a lot of the stuff grip, adaptive triggers, etc stock. Stuff scuf charge extra for
Just ordered it today and a stick replacement with it although $200 seems absurd I game a lot and am on my 3rd controller due to stick drift and honestly I’d rather pay $20 every 6 months or so compared to $70
I’m a COD player so it’s definitely worth it for me. Just being able to replace thumbstick modules is kind of worth it if you are hard on your controller
i’m thinking of getting a new controller and my friend told me about the ds edge and after this review they 100% seem worth it even tho the battery is a lil downside but at the end of the day the $20 replaceable joystick is what makes it worth it 10/10 review 💯
Whoa at 9:45 your the first to mention that game chat/game volume can be changed..that’s dope. Moat headsets i use have that function but only works for CP or Xbox
i’m a pro overwatch player in top500 on ps5 and i can gladly say. i actually preferred the edge over other 3rd party controllers. i found the scuf to have too much going on in the back for it to be a good controller to consistently use. the edge controller is just right though due to it not having as much
Ive been using this controller now for about a month. Took me a about a week to get used to it. But I love it! My only 2 knocks against it... Needs 4 back buttons instead of just the 2. A being able to decrease the deadzone instead of only being able to expand it, which they could prob fix that with an update. Oh, and maybe a 3rd knock i guess. Different color options or something a little more customizable like that (which Im sure somebody like extremerate might come up with options for),, even though I think the controller already looks sick af in the black/white combo
There are a few glaring problems with this “pro” controller. 1) Battery life is abysmal. That’s the case for the dual sense as well, so whatever. 2) WTF are the sticks not Hall effect? 3) Price 4) The lack in stick options when compared to the elite. On the other hand, the trigger stops are far better than the permanent instant triggers from the competition. This is a huge plus. Plus+ What needs to be done is a wirelessly ps5 controller with Hall effect sticks and the stick options of the elite and trigger stops of the edge. I have yet to use back buttons, so I don’t know what the best implementation is, but the edge seems like a front runner in that regard.
As someone who’s used the Xbox elite controller and is a hardcore FPS gamer, I can honestly say this controller is worth it just for the fact that you can fully replace the joysticks. I’ve had to replace my Xbox elite controller multiple times just because the stick drift became unbearable… a 20$ joystick replacement vs a 300$ controller replacement is a big win.
@@angelcruz4980 hey man, this has got to be awkward for you. You can replace the joysticks to change their height or their feel but that doesn’t fix the stick drift. With this PlayStation controller your literally replacing the whole component. Not the same thing at all
Gundam battle operation 2 would be great for this! Using the back paddles to boost has upped my game on PS4, this will help a ton on PS5 too. The back paddles are great for DMC5 as well. Doing gun combos and jumping on the back helps the flow of combat so much.
I use the same in SD gundam battle assault. Right finger tab for "boost" and dodge ect. Can dodge and shoot/slash at the same time without completely "button mashing" and not knowing what you are pushing. Though, Im using an 8bitdo ultimate.
I bought it as gaming is a way to unwind for me in the evenings after work. If I get some extra kills each game from using the paddles, it’s worth it..…IMO Of course, whether it’s worth it varies for everyone
If it was around 170 i would absolutely recommend it to players who play a lot of games because you definitely will go trough a couple controllers over the years.. and these are way better repairable so in the long run cheaper.. here in the Netherlands tho.. 230 is just to much.. and its beats the purpose
I wish they would release software updates to allow for more button customizations in the profile selection as well. Those would be a VERY nice feature I feel to a lot of people would want. Myself included.
I need a update to where I can change my pulse 3d wireless volume because it won't let me change volume or game/chat so right fn worthless rn other than that I fucking love it lol jus got it today
So, they made it much easier to replace the thumbsticks but how difficult would it be to replace the buttons? I play a lot of Apex and having gone from ps4-ps5 and using both systems' controllers, the buttons have also worn down on me after a while
honestly, 200 bucks is mad cheap since the main things that goes wrong with these types of controllers is stick drift. so the fact that you can just buy the sticks for 20 bucks, years down the road actually makes this controller cheaper than the series x pro controller. the xbox elite 2 only has 1 year of warranty, so if you get stick drift after the year, you have to either 1) deal with it, or 2) buy a whole new controller, and they aint cheap also
I use this controller. The trigger pull registration adjustment helps with high performance gaming. To reduce accidental inputs. The default controller on ps5 is what made me wait to purchase the system as coming from ps4, R2 and L2 are to sensitive on ps5. Especially on fight games
The d pad on ps4 is much superior for fighting game then ps5. It took 3 weeks to loosen the d pad on the ps5 default controller. The ps5 edge controller has a similar sold d pad as well. Ps4 d pad is much better
Suggestion on use Lies of p LP - [], RB - 0 Siekro LP - Up d pad, RB - 0 My hero academy LP - [],RB - X This controller is for more than FPS. It also helps in fighting games with assist systems and special move enhancements. These controller are great step foward in input devices and a redesign of the super Nintendo created so long ago. And then there is the built in interface.
In Fortnite, using the DSE controller, when I picked up the spy falcon device, the controls were all “unbound.” Had to restart the PS5 using a different controller to fix that issue (after trying to change controllers without restart). So no falcons in fortnite with the DSE.
As someone who is a daily first person shooter player, ive had Scuf, AIM, and Regular controllers.... i think this controller is right up there with my SCUF.... i do think its better than AIM controllers.... and would def buy this one again if i had to. Price point is almost the same as a scuf but much easier to get replacement rather than sending it off to Scuf for a month. Only thing im missing is the digital triggers.... while this does that as well Scufs is a touch better . So i would absolutely personally recommend
Well. I bought it. Stick drift has cost me 2 dualsense controllers already this year. They're $70-80 each. Replacement sticks for the edge are $20. In the long run, it'll work out. I never had drift issues with the PS4 dualshock controllers. But I did often run into issues with buttons collapsing, sticking.
At least in finland we have warranty for controllers for 1 year. So if there is stick drift within the first year, I walk back to the store and I get a new controller free on the spot
@@MikaTuukkanen yeah both of mine are under warranty still. At least one of them is for sure. But I'm not sure how long that whole process takes. I don't really want to deal with it lol. I may or may not send them in and possibly put them up for sale as refurb. Idk
This ain’t a L at all. The fact you replace the entire stick module unit without having to get an entire new controller is crazy. $200 is very generous imo
Least for me I really wouldn't benefit from having this controller over the regular DualSense. Wish they had the swappable analogue sticks on the standard controller, other than that I'm not super excited by it. Really love the red colour so disappointed they only have the Edge in white.
70-75 vs 200 (+20 for each joystick replacement). To get your money’s worth just from that, you’d need to go through 4 base model PS5 controllers to break even at $280. 70 x 4 = 200 + (20 x 4) = 280 After that point, the Edge controller becomes more cost effective than the regular controller-though the next console generation will probably be out before you go through that many controllers by yourself (unless you’re really tough on your stuff). The real value is the customization of the controller buttons. The replaceable joysticks just help keep it somewhat cost-effective for gamers who want a premium controller without having to buy a whole new one every time that one component wears out.
If you have a PS5 you can map your button profiles and it will save them and bring them over to PC. You can switch through them as you wish use back buttons and all.
Just picked up my dual Sense today. Both of my controllers got stick drift. I tried to remedy the problem but to no avail. I often wonder if this is by design so that we steers us to spend the extra 💵
So instead of fixing stick drift, just make them easy to replace. So that fixes the warranty issue with the regular dual sense. Now you just buy extra thumbsticks & bring in more money.

Jesus christ
I stopped reading your comment after “Destiny 2”
This controller is Freaking sick! I got it yesterday, and I'm enjoying the hell out of it. GT7 feels amazing, and it makes me even more hyped for PSVR2! God damn Sony is giving gamers great gaming options. Seriously.
Me too, can’t wait to replay Rush of Dawn, Astro Bot rescue mission, and Blood & Truth on my PSVR2!
Bro it’s an amazing controller I just got mine yesterday but my only problem I have with it…..is the damn battery
@M P true, and in my experience if you set the light bar to dim it can last for 6-7+ hours, which is way more than i game in one session
Does the d pad feel loose like the original dual sense?
@@holitinne it doesn’t necessarily feel loose but it is just one whole assembly as opposed to 4 separate buttons
@jasonshiromi8951I‘d be interested too before i blindly experiment
This controller should be lasting you a while minimum 2-3 years the major problem with the regular one is stick drift and this solves it. Usually I go through two controllers a year.
The elite series 2 back paddles make it so easy for me to play shooters cuz my fingers never leave the sticks
Bro this was like one of the most well constructed reviews I've seen, good job!!
I can’t wait for mine! Battery isn’t a concern for me as I always plug in directly.
Nice controller and CONGRATS JUD baby boy looks so adorable!!!
Thank you Clarissa! 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
Same is happening for mine too after only 5 months of playing. It’s so annoying 😢😢
@zage I straightly bought edge without attempting to buy another duel sense after lots of analysis lol
🎊🎊👆🎁
I seriously dont know why everyone has such a problem with the price, what are the expecting! its obviously not just a basic controller. The fact you can replace your stick module is worth the price alone.
I don’t get it either. You also get another cord and locking mechanism and a case. They made it worthwhile imo if you add up the price. Scufs start at $200 for just the paddles.
@@KasePrince Some people don't like the price because you can not use the paddles on pc and it is supposed to be a "Pro Controller"
@@sire6551 first of all it’s not made for PC it’s a PlayStation controller, last I remember Sony wasn’t a PC manufacturer and secondly if you don’t like the price go and buy a scuff and see how that totals up for them. It’ll cost more than PS controller short term and long term.
I got mine last week and I'm loving it!!
We don’t care
@@trino5561 he likes it that's what matters his opinion
@@trino5561 broke ass..lol
How’s the battery?
@J C So far, it seems about the same. I haven't noticed a difference
I might get this controller just to be able to map one of the back buttons as “Sprint” in Elden Ring. Having to do the awkward “finger claw” movement to run by holding Circle is such a pain
which back button do u prefer domes or paddles
I’ve had my Series 2 Elite controller for about a year now and I had the first elite controller prior to that. I haven’t own or used a PlayStation in about 19 years, but recently found myself getting the ps5. I ordered my Edge controller almost immediately, because my elite controller on Xbox felt so natural for me. I got kontrol freeks for the sticks but they just don’t sit right with me on the default controller. Here’s to hoping I fall in love with the Edge like I did the Elite!
I loved my elite 2 let me know if it's worth it
You'll love it I been xbox controller only since they were better now Sony released this which is 5 times bettet
many times i wanted to buy it but all these negative rewievs , i wont spend over 100 euro if the controller could break 1or 2 months
The Monochrome Design & GamePad is so Classy!!! I Love DualSense Series!!! ✌🏻😍✌🏻
Little tip of you want to get better at apex please put crouch on hold instead of toggle.
Coming from buying 2 scufs and them both breaking in less than a month, I'm glad I picked this up, and it comes with a lot of the stuff grip, adaptive triggers, etc stock. Stuff scuf charge extra for
Just ordered it today and a stick replacement with it although $200 seems absurd I game a lot and am on my 3rd controller due to stick drift and honestly I’d rather pay $20 every 6 months or so compared to $70
Love the dual sense edge. Feels quality and definitely is a better build
I got one, maaaan it's a game changer. In Apex it makes your wall jump combos so fluent.
For the price should have hall effect joysticks and 4 back buttons, $40 extremerate kit for back buttons is a better deal
I’m a COD player so it’s definitely worth it for me. Just being able to replace thumbstick modules is kind of worth it if you are hard on your controller
3 months later how u feel? Thinking hard of getting it today 😂
i’m thinking of getting a new controller and my friend told me about the ds edge and after this review they 100% seem worth it even tho the battery is a lil downside but at the end of the day the $20 replaceable joystick is what makes it worth it 10/10 review 💯
Whoa at 9:45 your the first to mention that game chat/game volume can be changed..that’s dope. Moat headsets i use have that function but only works for CP or Xbox
i’m a pro overwatch player in top500 on ps5 and i can gladly say. i actually preferred the edge over other 3rd party controllers. i found the scuf to have too much going on in the back for it to be a good controller to consistently use. the edge controller is just right though due to it not having as much
do you use the paddles or the half moon for the back buttons
Definitely getting one! I can’t get off COD! Love you and your family man 🖤
Just started watching your channel and glad to see the ironbound (Newark) in the background born and raised
Congratulations on you and your wife new bundle of JOY 🙏🙏!!!!
Congratulations on the baby boy!
Great review and to the point. Answered every question I had for this controller. Thanks!
I got mine yesterday and saw my gameplay improve loving it yea short battery life but the cable is 👍
Quick tip if you switch the paddles around it will face down and outwards
Just ordered mine I can’t wait !!
I have 2 standard Dualsense controllers. Both have terrible stick drifting issues. That's enough for me to buy the Duelsense Edge.
Idc about anything besides the fact that there is finally no more stuck drift
There are a few glaring problems with this “pro” controller.
1) Battery life is abysmal. That’s the case for the dual sense as well, so whatever.
2) WTF are the sticks not Hall effect?
3) Price
4) The lack in stick options when compared to the elite.
On the other hand, the trigger stops are far better than the permanent instant triggers from the competition.
This is a huge plus. Plus+
What needs to be done is a wirelessly ps5 controller with Hall effect sticks and the stick options of the elite and trigger stops of the edge.
I have yet to use back buttons, so I don’t know what the best implementation is, but the edge seems like a front runner in that regard.
Thanks for the amazing explanation. Price point is holding me back and I've no idea what key to place for the back button.
Lol no way you owned an Xbox elite controller cause the joysticks are replaceable 🤣 lying at its finest or your just not that bright
@@angelcruz4980 hey man, this has got to be awkward for you. You can replace the joysticks to change their height or their feel but that doesn’t fix the stick drift. With this PlayStation controller your literally replacing the whole component. Not the same thing at all
I ran through 10 elite series 2😂 all had drift
@@rileybirch9813 aaaahhhhh I see makes sense now I could have sworn it was removable but I stand corrected 👍
@@angelcruz4980 lol i guess that meant you had to delete your comment calling me an idiot.
I was watching this video last night, I got so relaxed by his voice that I fell asleep. 🤣
Gundam battle operation 2 would be great for this! Using the back paddles to boost has upped my game on PS4, this will help a ton on PS5 too.
The back paddles are great for DMC5 as well. Doing gun combos and jumping on the back helps the flow of combat so much.
Facts bro facts the quick swapping is gonna be so much easier forget double button pressing
I use the same in SD gundam battle assault. Right finger tab for "boost" and dodge ect. Can dodge and shoot/slash at the same time without completely "button mashing" and not knowing what you are pushing. Though, Im using an 8bitdo ultimate.
Thank you for the helpful information. Great job.
Yeah the new controller is sweet but you know whats sweeter?
New Jud Junior 🙌🏻❤
having extra joystick sure will come in handy you never know when you might get stift drift
I bought it as gaming is a way to unwind for me in the evenings after work.
If I get some extra kills each game from using the paddles, it’s worth it..…IMO
Of course, whether it’s worth it varies for everyone
If it was around 170 i would absolutely recommend it to players who play a lot of games because you definitely will go trough a couple controllers over the years.. and these are way better repairable so in the long run cheaper.. here in the Netherlands tho.. 230 is just to much.. and its beats the purpose
Congratulations 🍾🎉🎊
I wish they would release software updates to allow for more button customizations in the profile selection as well. Those would be a VERY nice feature I feel to a lot of people would want. Myself included.
They will eventually. It’s pretty new after all. Once more people get it, it will happen
@@gabyto1342 that's my hope. The current features really lend it to be possible. That would be nice especially with profiles.
I need a update to where I can change my pulse 3d wireless volume because it won't let me change volume or game/chat so right fn worthless rn other than that I fucking love it lol jus got it today
I remember when I thought that the N 64 controller had ‘too many buttonZ’. Things got crazy.
thanks for the review - good presentation
So, they made it much easier to replace the thumbsticks but how difficult would it be to replace the buttons? I play a lot of Apex and having gone from ps4-ps5 and using both systems' controllers, the buttons have also worn down on me after a while
I'm on the fence about it, great video and ty
honestly, 200 bucks is mad cheap since the main things that goes wrong with these types of controllers is stick drift. so the fact that you can just buy the sticks for 20 bucks, years down the road actually makes this controller cheaper than the series x pro controller. the xbox elite 2 only has 1 year of warranty, so if you get stick drift after the year, you have to either 1) deal with it, or 2) buy a whole new controller, and they aint cheap also
I use this controller.
Suggestion on use
Lies of p LP - [], RB - 0
Siekro LP - Up d pad, RB - 0
My hero academy LP - [],RB - X
This controller is for more than FPS. It also helps in fighting games with assist systems and special move enhancements. These controller are great step foward in input devices and a redesign of the super Nintendo created so long ago. And then there is the built in interface.
Hardware tension adjustment on sticks like the Xbox pro controller it truly makes a huge difference.
In Fortnite, using the DSE controller, when I picked up the spy falcon device, the controls were all “unbound.” Had to restart the PS5 using a different controller to fix that issue (after trying to change controllers without restart). So no falcons in fortnite with the DSE.
Just appreciate all the effort that you put forth to review of the Sony pro controller
Which helps you moves better Dom or regular analogs🤔? I just ordered one & I play sports also is this controller useful in Sports competitive
Just ordered one yesterday should be here weds.
on PC you can map those FN buttons to any button on the controller
As someone who is a daily first person shooter player, ive had Scuf, AIM, and Regular controllers.... i think this controller is right up there with my SCUF.... i do think its better than AIM controllers.... and would def buy this one again if i had to. Price point is almost the same as a scuf but much easier to get replacement rather than sending it off to Scuf for a month. Only thing im missing is the digital triggers.... while this does that as well Scufs is a touch better . So i would absolutely personally recommend
I love your watch band! Where can I get one 😍?
I’m interested in it for the chat control, but it seems like the instant triggers on my scuf are better. I’ll wait for the next version.
I hope there’s a version 2.0 with 4 paddles…
Definitely scoopin' this up👊🏾
I just wish it had a grip. I got a modded controller with a super nice grip but like all dual sense controllers the sticks didn’t last long.
Idk
Good video man keep it up earned my sub
Sir, love from India 🇮🇳
Ur videos are so informative
I just got mine I love it like the style of it thanks for sharing it
Just got it yesterday and I love it. Feel so much better at cod already
does it feel the same as the regular?
I like the profile feature for the buttons because I'm disabled. Should make my game play a lot better
Definitely picking this up today for apex might replace my scuff
How u like it now
This ain’t a L at all. The fact you replace the entire stick module unit without having to get an entire new controller is crazy. $200 is very generous imo
Y’all lets welcome New Jud Junior 🎉
Least for me I really wouldn't benefit from having this controller over the regular DualSense. Wish they had the swappable analogue sticks on the standard controller, other than that I'm not super excited by it. Really love the red colour so disappointed they only have the Edge in white.
The price to me does seem a little steep but at the same time, the replaceable thumb sticks alone will get you your moneys worth.
70-75 vs 200 (+20 for each joystick replacement). To get your money’s worth just from that, you’d need to go through 4 base model PS5 controllers to break even at $280.
70 x 4 = 200 + (20 x 4) = 280
After that point, the Edge controller becomes more cost effective than the regular controller-though the next console generation will probably be out before you go through that many controllers by yourself (unless you’re really tough on your stuff).
7:20 “I don’t have the dexterity yet to try and have like four fingers going in the back, I’m not that guy”.
Just picked up my dual
Sense today.
I love the idea of this controller, I’ve been waiting on PlayStation to answer back to Xbox’s elite, but the 2 paddles are a deal breaker for me. I need 4 to play apex without playing claw.
Same! I play 3 smh
Love your reactions
I'm not a pro player, but I love those four back buttons anyway. I just hate that they implemented just two. Also I wish that it had more battery life
How’s the battery?
Great review
