This was a perfect how-to video. Thank you for being straightforward.
Thanks man I appreciate the feedback
Fantastic video, exactly what I needed to see, NO NONSENSE!🤜⚡🤛
Glad it helped out! Thanks for dropping a comment
Thanks! Just picked up a 2014 Raptor. Heard it was difficult to get to the plugs behind the shock tower. Hopefully it goes as smooth as it was on your Super Duty.
No problem and good luck on it. I actually haven't done plugs on a Raptor yet. Let me know if it is just about the same as this. I'm curious. thanks!
Appreciate this no nonsense easy to follow video. I'm about to change mine out for the first time since trading up from an F150 ecoboost. The two plugs per cylinder got me at first. New sub for you.
Glad you found it helpful and thanks a lot man. Good luck on the job
Best how to video on You tube. No stupid music, wasted time, or need for narcissistic face shots (almost 😂😂). Thanks so much.
Thank you for this video!! I have a miss fire on my 2014 Raptor. The estimate from the dealer was 2650.00!!! She has been a champ with 142,000 miles on it and zero issues. I’m not super handy but your video makes it look simple enough and I’m gonna give it a try. I’ll come back to your video and let you know how it goes after 😬
Awesome to hear you're going to knock it out yourself. I think the Raptor is a touch different than this video, But basically the same thing. Let me know how you make out and good luck!
NoNonsenseKnowHow Yes Sir!
@@Captain-Awesome how'd the plug change go?
Farmer Jesse Well..... I haven’t tackled it yet. I am going to need to soon because the misfire seems to be getting a bit worse and I know that is going to ruin my catalytic converter.
@@Captain-Awesome any luck yet? Lol.
Thanks for posting this, it’s going to help me out a lot.
No problem, and awesome. Good luck on the job
Sweet thanks electrical tape is a life saver
Yeah man for sure! Really helps out on those worn out swivel sockets
About to do the spark plugs on my 14 Raptor. Hopefully it goes this smooth, excellent how to video
Thanks for the video. Haven't done spark plugs on one of these yet.
great video, straight to the point no bs i love it
I appreciate the straight forward video. Thank you
no prob! thanks
Ever use a piece of fuel hose to put plugs in? Works like a charm.
Yes, or an old spark plug boot as well! Same idea!
Fast
No nonsense information
Awesome
Been a Ford guy for over 50 years, but I just don’t understand why the need for this design. In my opinion, removal process is better than the 3 valve Triton plugs with less breakage possibility but what gains are we achieving over 1 plug from the top? Certainly isn’t a big improvement in mpg.The mpg needle hasn’t moved in years. Sometimes I think the engineers are just in it for the “look of what I came up with” to justify their salary.
If you rotate your tires every 10k miles and change your spark plugs every 100k miles (that’s supposedly what the intervals are) then they should line up with each other. So as you’re rotating tires you can change the spark plugs. Knock out two birds with one stone so to speak.
I thought the change interval was 80k miles for the plugs? I have a ‘17 F-250. Thx for the 411.
@@dickritchie2596 if that’s what the interval says than definitely go with that. It should still like up with the tire rotations since they’re both 10k mile intervals
Are the top and bottom spark plugs the same number ? Another video suggested they were different
If "cylinder #2 plugs are fowled".. spitting and sputtering.. and I replaced upper and lower plugs. Should I replace the other 14.. has a slight spitting and sputter. When shifting from 6-5th gear
2011 ford raptor 6.2
Yeah not a bad idea too. Depending on the miles also
Platinums in top, and iridiums in the bottom?
Thank you.
Prob a dumb question, but was curious if there was a certain brand to do a complete upgrade from the standard ones from the auto parts stores or oem,, ive already paid to have them all replaced 3 times, so now im just going to do it myself
How much did they charge ? I’m having issues with mine couple misfires. Gonna have to take it to the mechanic for sure.
How much is the labor for that job
I didn't know ford did 16 spark plugs for emission.
Hey thank iblearn alot
awesome. and no prob!
How mant miles
Thumbs up 👍
