I have a 17 m package 330i. I have hud and I have the option for navigation but it won’t show on the hud
Do you use only stock navigation? If so and it doesn't indicate on your HUD, you should visit your BMW dealership :)
Please come up with a retrofit HUD for F30. Similar to an OEM HUD not the cheap available in the market.
No plans for it at the moment, but we may offer it in the future.

Depends on the VIN really. Some cars do have it, some don't :)
When you say M-package, do you mean the actual M or the package for the hud? Because I have M package and have no way of enabling "M-view" on my F15 2015.
Good question - I also have an “Msport” 2015 but it doesn’t have the HUD unit. That said, it does make me wonder if you can purchase it as an add on and code the car so it would work. Anybody know?
We mean M-type BMWs. There are different approaches to turning on or off the BMW head-up display depending on its generation and your vehicle model.
If your BMW was produced between 2004-2018 you’ll most likely be able to do that by a push of the HUD button (the front of a car with the letter i) placed next to or beneath the headlight control, and can adjust its settings in the iDrive menu.
In later date cars, made between 2019-2022, you may have to get into your BMW iDrive Settings to turn on the BMW head-up display.

You mention a 2016 X5 retrofitted with ID6, I have a 2014 435i convertible with HUD, and have been contemplating upgrading from my NBT to NBT Evo ID6 (I believe that is the highest upgrade I can do). If I do, can an have apple carplay enabled and have the HUD upgrades as well (i.e. apple maps, music, etc.)? Thanks in advance!
Please put your VIN on our webshop to confirm the compatibility of your car with the NBT EVO retrofit (www.bimmer-tech.net/category-nbt-evo-id5-id6-navigation-system-retrofit)
With this retrofit, you will have CarPlay enabled although you won’t be able to have it on the HUD as this feature was implemented until iDrive 7.0, which is only available for MGU (Media Graphic Unit) head units. You can read more about iDrive 7.0 on our blog:

It was optional equipment
Since the current 3 series doesn't have an option for night vision can you work on a retrofit that takes the night vision camera/modules from the 5 and 7 series and integrate it into the 3 series?
We would definitely forward your comment to our R&D team and hopefully, they will be able to create it, if it is possible they can do it ;)
So one day I pulled up maps like the apple one and the navigation came on my hud. Maybe twice ever this happened and I have tried every setting possible to get it back. Cant get it back.
Odd thing, but normally you can't display Apple Car Play nav on HUD :)
I know this is super-mega late but if you have an iPhone I would try leaving it unlocked! (My steering music controls can't skip/change song without an unlocked phone for some reason). Hope it helps! (I usually drop the brightness all the way and put it on the charger). That or put Waze on it while it sits on the charger 😉

Hi, nope, m3 F80 wasn't fitted with standard HUD, but you can find several retrofits on the market! :)

You mean adding it to head-up display or to the car in general?
Do all 2013 328i xdrive come with HUD? I used to have one that did and I’m shopping around for another one but I don’t know if they all come standard or if it’s just an add on option.

My bmw series 2 does not show Speed limit information. I have check it in the settings but that option is not available. I am sure I have seen it when I was taking the test drive before buying. Can you help?
You should be able to enable it at the iDrive settings -> Istrum. cluster -> Limit info
If I install the apple carplay with help of device then can I see the navigation on my HUD in series 2 active tourer 2020 model?
