There are many Alhaitham "simp" type playlists. And I understand why. I mean...just LOOK at him. But it also made me realize there are so few playlists that highlight his quiet, contemplative side, as shown in his character teaser. His teaser honestly left me with a feeling of awe. It resonated with me deeply.
Anyway, I want this playlist to reflect the calm and ethereal feelings that his character teaser holds, and the sense of wonder it conveys. I recommend headphones for this playlist. There are a lot of layered sounds & sfx.

Al-Haitham somehow reminds me of my ex-tutor. He was young doctor but a very bright one. When we went for rounds occasionally we used to be placed with him. I used to look forward to him being there, coz the amount of knowledge I gained around him was more that what I could through books and lectures. I could tell he was eager to share his stuff with everyone, but he never did unless specifically approached. He was an enticing individual with such a unique approach to problems, his solutions were soo simple yet different. He eventually left our institution a year after joining coz he felt too weighed down with the amount of work (which is soo oddly in character now that I think about it lol)

The weather outside was not that pleasing. From blaring thunders and havoc winds: the trees sway left or right chaotically, while the branches constantly hit as if it was mimicking a person knocking on the window. Hearing loud noises in general always feared you. As the roaring thunder got louder it always made your shoulders tense up and anxiety levels escalate because of how it imitated the identical sounds that you encountered when you were younger.
As you curled up into a ball, a blanket hovering above you while covering your ears as much as possible to cancel out the uproarious thunder: you started to sob in the end…Even as years passed you couldn't help but feel like your younger self again because of the traumatizing event. From your non-stopping silent cries and vigorously shaking you felt like this was not going to stop: the thunderous bangs got louder and the rains got heavier as if the drops were like bullets about to hit you anytime sooner or later. Until you felt movement from the bed and saw the blanket being pulled up and closed back down again: revealing your close best friend, you're savior, and… Boyfriend Alhaitham who is currently under the same blanket as you.
"Hey, it's going to be okay Y/N, I'm here" (Soft smile)
As intoxicating as Alhaitham's small smile can be, it didn't comfort you one bit… your tears kept on rolling down as the rain got louder, making him more worried in the process.
"Y/N, I'm here, there's no need to cry anymore. Just listen to my voice" (muffled)
His voice got muffled, and you didn't hear what he was saying next, but after that, you started to feel lightheaded. That's when you felt very groggy and about to pass out but were then pulled into a tight hug. Alhaitham's hugs were out of this world: The nice fragrant scent of his clothes, his comforting voice, and lastly his muscular arms being wrapped around and body as if it were a cushion. As much as you feared how built his body is, you always imagined that he was going to break you at some point, but that didn't happen. It's more of a light and comfortable embrace that can be stayed forever.
[5 minutes passed]
As the weather keeps getting worse and deafening booms went on, your full attention is now on Alhaitham who is still hugging you and wouldn't even let you go.
"...Al-Alhaitham, I think I'm okay now.." You said in a soft tone catching his attention, which triggered him to let go slowly.
"Are you sure? Because as many years have passed and I've got to know you very well from up to down you say that all the time"
He said, in a concerned tone, pointing out that your outside appearance is like a puppy (Bubbly and Hubble) but the head of an Ox (Stubborn and Hard-Head) Seconds later, you were lying and weren't feeling good at all but only feel anxious still, which hence gave him the idea that always works when you are feeling uneasy.
"I will be right back" …. **Went under the blanket with a light and a book** "As much of a hard-head you are, I know you will enjoy this book very well"
(Feeling proud of the action he did. But in reality, you seem to not be in the mood he just created…)
"C'mon don't give me that sigh-eye look, this book is one of the most enjoyable and award-winning novels that anyone can get their hands on" (Sassy tone).
"As for "award-winning" I can only say that's what YOU only envision… plus that book is not even a book, It's a book about fractions and problem-solving…"
[Awkward Silence]
"...oops…" **Clear throat** "W-well, I will read it, and maybe this will change your unpopular opinion on how useful and informational this can be…" (Clearly Embarrassed…)
As Alhaitham turned on the light and read the "Book" you couldn't help but feel euphoric again because of the sudden change of atmosphere.
"HAHA!! YOU'RE SUCH A KLUTZ ALHAITHAM!! WHO GETS A FRACTION PROBLEM-SOLVING GUIDE MIXING IT AS A NOVEL!" (You laughing uncontrollably)
"HEY! THAT'S NOT FUNNY! WHEN I WAS IN THE AKADEMIYA THESE TYPES OF GUIDE BOOKS ARE REQUIRED AND ARE NOVEL TYPE BOOKS!" (Again clearly embarrassed).
The weather was still gloomy as you took a quick peek but hiding from the true reality and staying in the comforting air hiding under a blanket with your boyfriend is everything that you needed for comfort and made you forget that it was even raining. Even as stoic as Alhaitham can be, plus a sarcastic and sassy personality may reveal. He's always understanding and caring even if it requires him to cause a crime or not. He's always a savior.
Alhaitham's voice was so addictive that you want to hear it every day, the way his lips moved, eyes locked on to the book full of concentration and lastly, the light Illuminated his skin showing how smooth and soft it looked.
(Alhaitham reading) "Numerators and denominators are also used in fractions that are not common, including compound fractions, complex fractions, and mixed numerals…" **Looking at you** "Is there something on my face?"
"No, I'm feeling better now…Thanks to you…" (Feeling Shy)
**Pulling back to an embrace** **sigh**
"I'm glad to hear that Y/N…" (Not knowing what to say next)
Seconds later you pecked Alhaitham on the lips and continued on where he left off in the "book" leaving him stunned
"In positive common fractions, the numerator and denominator are natural numbers…"
As you continued, Alhaitham dropped the book and started to attack you with Kisses and Hugs making you a laughing mess. When both of you guys were at it the weather stopped raining and the Sun slowly started to gleam through the windows.

But your Mind wandered around and you saw a glimpse of a memory 500 years ago from the Archon war. All was blurry but u were able to make out a Battlefield in the desert right infringe of the Mausoleum of King Dershret. But just when it became some clearer it faded away, and you heard your friend and Classmate Alhaitham talking.

i came from your kaveh playlist which i thought was really beautiful (i'm a kaveh kinnie and the experience meant a lot for me because i've also been going through a difficult time lately for my creative/personal struggle aha ; u ; but i personally also relate a lot to alhaitham and his thoughts about things) - this playlist is nothing short, so beautiful in alhaitham's own way too. i can't help but think that the way you made the playlists mirror each of them individually, and now that i've immersed myself in both- they really do seem to be thoughtful mirrors that alhaitham and kaveh have towards each others' characters. on one hand, i think it's amazing to meet each of them on your own (without the automatic association of the other), because you see them exactly for who they are. the way they see life in its grandness through the mundane, and also:
to each of their own alhaitham and kaveh have their pursuits of knowledge and means of navigating through the world. at one moment in time, they got along really well, well enough (i think sometimes - imagine when alhaitham bares himself to the traveler as openly and warmly as he can as himself - and the "vulnerability" and candidness he must've allowed too for kaveh - i wonder what it was like). we all know they respect each other to the highest degree if it's with regards to their own fields, and that they've reached a point that 'it's not about right or wrong' anymore when they talk even.
i don't know, but if i were kaveh, i think i would find an odd kind of comfort from someone who just seemed to always know their answer. who seems to have it so simple in their mind, even if he himself knew how much alhaitham also had gone through - and i'm sure he knows it's not easy to be a person like alhaitham. and alhaitham, likewise, would find an odd comfort (and reasonable concern, whether he communicates it or not) in someone who seems to see the world in (i argue) rose-colored lenses that's been shattered but pieced back together. i'm sure alhaitham sees how the architect has been hurt all his life and how he's so strongly tied to his ideals that he still manages to see the world with romance and goodwill, to a flaw, a great one that he himself is frustrated he can't make the other avoid it all. but with all the talk that alhaitham is able to verbalize, he also seems to have such a complete but moreso developing grasp of what the pursuit of humankind is - that it's not just knowledge and just through language, it doesn't manage to capture everything that is in the essence of what "life might mean". for a logical person, he both seems to understand humanity so well, but it's such a wild mystery to him - which amazingly, i feel like kaveh lives out his humanity so honestly, so intentionally, that it's a mystery, a curiosity, and unfortunate way to live sometimes - that i think alhaitham manages to see in kaveh. when you have someone like that, i think it talks so much more about life as you come to know it.
for the things that (and i think kaveh knows this) alhaitham could probably not necessarily agree with, he must acknowledge that humanity can just be emotional, irrational, and rather than a "correct" way of living - for him it's always been about a "convenient" way of living. for someone who just wants to avoid problems, to see someone so great and good-natured as kaveh, worry and act himself to ruin, must affect him, confuse him. it's like it doesn't make sense at all, but somehow kaveh seems to makes sense and balance to the things he personally cannot seem to come to - because it's not for him. but for someone like kaveh, maybe he'd like to see it come through. like any person, not just in that lens of wanting to see them 'romantically' - even if you're unsure if a person you care about could ever solve all their problems - wouldn't you want to see that crazy idea that this life would be mundane, okay, directly safe - for them too? or, what if, in some grand scheme of things, living so different from your own way of living shows you that there is some greater curiosity to life as well? more to life than you might ever know of it?
i keep wondering on how to word it - how the concept of them being each other's mirrors (or why they "choose" to "keep" each other in their lives) is so overwhelmingly curious to me, but i think your playlist helps me think it and come to terms with it to a nice degree. thank you, it's so lovely. i hope i get to find more ways to word these musings
