I honestly have no idea why this playlist doesn’t have more likes than it should have. It has such a high quality and the way Dainsleif’s voiceovers work with the music make you feel like you’re listening to his story, Story of Khaenriah. I basically felt how unfair was the Death of Khaenriah and how does Dainsleif feel about it. It is really just impossible to describe how thrilled was I when I was listening to this playlist. Good job really!!

the voice lines about 11 minutes in.. i listen to this playlist so often, but every single time i hear that part i burst into tears. it's so heartbreaking to think about... im the type of genshin player that follows the story and everything else is extra. when i was doing that quest line with Dain, i was actually just suffering through it, crying the entire time, and ever since i hesitate to kill hilichurls, i avoid them if i can, but if i have to my mind always reminds me that death is a mercy. 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

this is heartbreaking 💔 i’ve never truly gave it a second thought but his words and the music brings tears to my eyes as you can hear feel see their whole “world” their home go up in flames no matter how hard they tried. Completely powerless as disaster struck them mercilessly and their dearest ones laid amock or afflicted by a vicious fate. The slight resignation or rather coldness Dainself talks of it is even sadder. The irony sometimes to, as he stands sole witness of the atrocities, when everyone forgot them or talks of them as if they deserved it when he probably can still hear the screams of feel the heat and tension of that night. “What does Freedom really mean when demanded of you by a god?” that gave me chills. This playlist is so good at traducing it. I am just- huh. edit 1: Please i am crying what is this sorcery ?!? 😭 I just want to hug that one like it’s such a weird feeling wanting to hug an Imaginary man so hard, so tight it knocks the air out of his lungs and leaves no space for the cold and loneliness to reach him. edit 2: Noting that i am editing as i go through the playlist but. like… I feel wronged in some ways ? Like it’s like i am feeling it from him and his countrymen. It just feels wholly unfair and justified to be so cruelly repressed, annihilated and on top of that cursed in such a vicious way. How, in the light of that, ever view the archons and their followers positively? or at the very least without a tinge of resentment. Because i personally would’ve wanted the whole world to burn just in retaliation. Just to have it all go up in flames helplessly suddenly. How could such a sibling be the same ? it’s been an instant for the traveler but it’s been hellishly long for their sibling. They’ve had, experienced, lived and lost so much and live with feelings the traveler could never hope to understand lest their sibling’s plan involve wrecking this world on retaliation hence ruining the traveler’s current life. Only then would the traveler understand their despair but what would that do to their relationship as siblings ? Plus from the sibling’s point of view, observing the traveler from afar wouldn’t it also feel like this world that killed their people, even 500years later, is taking advantage of their sibling’s eagerness to find them ? Because let’s be real : the traveler does waayyyyyy too much for them. Always solving their problems and sh- . If anything, wouldn’t it be yet another reason to expose the ‘’rotten’’ face of teyvat? or should i say celestia ?

Hello! This is my first comment and I'm late to the party, but I just wanna say how good this is!! I've been listening to this on repeat now for days while I study for my midterms. You're so good at this!! The voice lines give me chills and you always time it well with the drops and beat. The songs were also very well chosen. Not too loud that it's distracting me while studying, but just upbeat enough and with very imaginative lyrics that I don't relate enough to start being sad and start overthinking about it. Though those voice lines are kinda tragic and I take a break after hearing some of them 😭. Wow I just opened Genshin I'm near Springvale. As soon as I was in the game it started raining and lightning like a terrible storm had appeared. And I'm running around with Kaeya to get to Mondstadt quickly. Could take the teleporter but I want to enjoy this atmosphere. The atmosphere right now is pretty spooky and mysterious.
