Extremely helpful! It's sad to see you only made one video on "2 minutes on Structure & Form" because these are really quick and easy sources of revision. Do you have any intention to make more of these for the rest of the poems? If not I understand you may be busy and I have seen all your full videos on each poem anyway so I am more than happy to just read back through my anthology. Thanks!
I really like this style of video however I don't see how it is like a Shakespearean sonnet until the line 'thy vows are all broken' because the rhyme scheme doesn't change throughout the entire poem. ABABCDCD EFEFGHGH etc. I only picked up on this because I used this analysis in a practice essay and got marked down massively because it is incorrect.
I'm new I just fortunately discovered your channel I just want to say thankyou you are so so so helpful like more than school Thankyou so much, God bless you
Hi, would you be possibly able to do a revision song for learning the lines of specific conflict poems? I know you have already done a revision song where you have combined quotes from multiple poems into one song but would you be able to just do one poem per song?
mrbruff I know that's a lot, you could combine 2 poems that compare with each other into one song. It's just I have learnt your Macbeth, Frankenstein and Inspector Calls quotations songs all off by heart and I know all the quotes off the top of my head now and I found them extremely useful
sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo sad this series exists for all the poems in the power anthology and not for our anthology :( oh well exam's tomorrow wish me luck bruffyboy
is it too much of a stretch to say that it's based on a sonnet form? the rhyme scheme is regular ababcdcd throughout and the lines seem too short to count as a sonnet, and would an examiner see that as too much of a tenuous link?
I'm a bit confused. You said at the beginning in form the rhyme scheme breaks at line 13, however thats not true. Thy vows are all broken and light is thy fame i hear thy name spoken and share in its shame Broken and spoken rhyme and fame and shame do too as well so it does follow the ABAB rhyme scheme. Still not sure. Will appreciate if you replied. Thank you
Ann no he is right because it says warning last word of line 11 then last on line 13 is broken. These 2 do not rhyme however after broken the rhyme pattern restarts

What could you say about the 4 stanza, and possibly link it to the theme of love ?
Could you make more of these 2 minute videos on form and structure for the rest of the love and relationship poems, please?
Can you make more of these for the love and relationship poems? Great for last minute revision.
