I’m excited to see the changes! Honestly switching things up is how I ended up here myself. I went having from a room I never used, to moving all my game stuff into it and setting up a ‘game room office’, to spending almost all my time in that room and starting this UA-cam journey. I hope making those spaces feel how you want them to is a fun adventure!🎉🎉

Good to see man. I spent the last year basically making my new collection. I got rid of the games that meant nothing to me and held onto the ones I had connections with. You'll feel better when it's gone. I'm glad you are enjoying the new job!! I bet that is most of our dreams to own or manage a game store!
Pac is back! 110% respect for you doing this my friend, and you’ve heavily encouraged me to tackle Collection 3.0 moving forward. As I go for completing the GameCube collection, I will be weeding out those games that I bought for the heck of it across various other platforms, and know I’ll most certainly never play. It's good to see you back in 2024 Andy. Moving can be absolute chaos and even I've currently experienced this having just moved at the trial end of 2022. But I'm looking forward to these new videos bud. We need more of the Pacmancase!!!
I completely understand what you're saying about having a disconnected space within my moving video whenever I moved house and had an opportunity to have multiple rooms I dedicated one to be clean and chill and the other room to be my library and filming space it's enabled me to relax in a uncluttered space to just relax and play some games definitely a win awesome video man can't wait to see more content

It's more about clarity and focusing on the important things.
I always wanted a similar room with a pool table, but I also want a bowling alley, arcade and pinball cabs, and some TV's with gaming systems.
Its wild because Im almost 40 and I just got into all of this stufff! I have been trying to grow something locally because theres just not many folks that relate to us.
I've started that with my new collection as well. Seling off tons, and getting what I will actually play. Good luck on the new adventure!

I am turning 40 too and I know I won't probably play more than 10% of my games but I still can't let them go :( I am afraid that I will probably miss some of them in future and won't be able to purchase again because of those prices.

Fascinating video. I am about to turn 50! About a month from now. While I would love to hoard video games from any number of systems, the reality is I really don’t care about any system other than PS1. The PS1 was a huge part of my college (and immediate post-college) life and if I am going to spend the time and money collecting for any system, it’s going to be that one. In my mind, it feels like I collect for that system for me, and other systems for everyone else. If that makes any sense? I no longer want to collect for other people. I want to collect for me.
I'm here for the ride for sure! Peace out tiny handheld games.

Bro, I should really sell some of my game collection, I just made a big financial decision and bought a nice PC to follow my passion for creating and recording music, as well as making videos. I could probably make up some of the cost of this investment by selling some of my game collection, it's nice eye candy, but I honestly don't really play a lot of it... I tried getting my kids into retro games, but they are 13 and 20, kinda into other stuff now.
I don't know, I'm wrestling with the thought of this, like, I'd hate to miss out on truely nostalgiac stuff or regret selling something, but I'm also turning 40 this year, I'm not always going to have all this space, either... it's tough man. Best of luck in your personal journey, Andy!
This decision is not for everyone. There was a time I would have never let go of anything but it doesn't make sense anymore. Feeling clear about the focus of the collection is more thrilling to me now.
Also turning 40 this year (😬), also planning on rearranging my game room soon, due to a similar hodgepodge of random shelving situation right now, but happy to say I’ve been on collecting 3.0 since before it was cool 😂 so at least there’s that.

I suggest getting rid of games you don't play. Get the best of each console. The other thing is don't regret once selling it. Getting it back will be costly and so be wary of that.
For me, I just collect weird, niche and awesome games for each console/handheld. I have no intentions to complete a set.

I had to down size my collection recently as well. It’d be cool if you collected the Japanese n64 games after your done with North America. Especially Japanese games are cheap to buy.

Done doing things for others and more curated to my personal interests. I've collected a lot over the years. Some stuff, I was interested in at the time. Some stuff I still really love. Never an overnight decision. I've discussed pairing down for years. Relatively my channel has been very successful. Views haven't prompted any decisions.

I don’t quite think you understand what “clickbait” is. It’s not like he got rid of 5 games from his entire collection, or put the games in storage. He’s getting rid of 85-90% of his insane collection…which is the end of an era, when you really think about how many years of collecting has amounted to that.
