WoW felt like I was having a real Flashback!!!!! Back in my time machine. Hanging with my friend in our tripped out black light, and Groovy posters party room........Rolllllllll another LOL
Don't Lose Your Mind - Galaxies IV [Trenton, New Jersey] - 1967 - "One of the BEST. Very good PAUL REVERE & The RAIDERS-esque vocals. Winner of an International Battle Of The Bands contest." - Garage Beat '66, Vol. 4: I'm In Need (Sundazed)-2005. NOTE: (Chris Holmes(L.v., g.), Len Demski (b., b.v.), Charles Brodowitz (kb.,b.v.) and Alan Fowler (d).
Killer acid drenched psychedelic rock...A lot of these pretty much unknown bands around the country from the mid-60s are out of this world. Most rock bands were influenced by bands a decade earlier. Most groups from the 60s listened to 50s music or the blues. This was not the case with these garage/psychedelic bands.I guess they were influenced by mind altering chemicals and plants for a completely new experimental sound......Fantastik!!!
fine 60s garage punk psych.sounds better on 45,im n old school musician analogue is my way of life n digital vinyl reissues r inferior n dont tell it like the musicians intended it,people need 2 question why most labels r pointlessly tryin 2 make vinyl a carbon copy of a cd.cos the sad fact is all original analogue 45 n lps r far sonically superior.who can justify criminal multiple overdubs on every digital lp n 45 reissue,i dare labels 2 come on here n defend this musicians didnt even back it .
Amazing era in terms of freedom. Won't happen again for a long, long time.
Maybe never, but we we will always treasure those times. Cheers!
I LOVE IT @ 70 still ROCKING!

You don't find acid; acid finds you.
I hear that to this day
1:12 lol... you can't legally call yourself a psychedelic rock band until you take the "standing in a circle above the camera" picture...
Pretty sure that is a photo of Jefferson Airplane
The Galaxies IV were
Charles Brodowicz, Chris Holmes (11), Lee Demski, TJ Tindall
