Years ago I worked for Wedgwood. At the beginning of December, they would have a sale of returned pieces - both damaged and defective. I picked out a crystal ashtray that had - horror of horrors - a tiny bubble that wasn't supposed to be there. Practically invisible. Paid about $1.50 USD for an Irish crystal piece normally priced at about $300. Sometimes, you just luck out. By the way, I subscribed yesterday. After seeing the Bey video. Thank you!
Yeah I routinely put SuperDacob on higher speed, x 1.5 at least and then subtitles. Otherwise I would be here from dawn to dusk...waiting for the key points!
For what it's worth, i've discovered that The Pochette toilette is still available in France and in the french eshop of Vuitton for 850 euros. And it's only in stocks at the Champs Elysées boutique. So they are limiting the markets where the product will be available to have customers, or at least international customers, shop for a pricier alternative. It would be interesting to see which Vuitton products are only available in Paris.
I'm glad they gave it to their employees instead of burning them though. I can only envy them because I want one😂. Now in my lifestyle the 15 would be awesome and the small packing cube.
Their sales team will be having crisis meetings because sales have crashed as we speak: "We played too tough on the prices and too hard to get, now we've lost our faithful middle class customers". They have snookered themselves! Haha!
I work at LV and the pouches have '2023' and 'not for sale' on the leather tab so either they stamped old ones or made a batch of new ones. And I didn't see any Yayoi Kusama at the latest staff sale this year
I just checked, on the german website the poche Trio (26cm/19cm/15cm) and is available and in stock. The Poche (25cm) is listed, but out of stock. Maybe they just discontinued it in the USA?
Great video, my pal struggled to order that new Pharrell Speedy bag (at over £6,000) they 'had to check' if they could sell it to him. Even as a regular LV customer to his Boutique...
They saw what influencers were doing with the pochettes and wanted to cash in on it but backfired because at price point no one wanted it anymore. Just like they did with pa. They added a chain to it because everyone would do that to theirs and hiked the price up.
Ugh former LV CA here. Some of what they do makes sense for profit reasons. Also, I quit for a reason (or 10,000 reasons) The one Christmas I was there, we got a box of makeup. I was still new at that point so it was very exciting. 1 additional remark on the pouches… absolutely none of those will be resold as employees will be fired. We were constantly threatened with that
@@SuperDacob I used to call it the car lot as it had all the same behind the scenes “panache”. Same selling pressure and bs. The morning meetings were abusive in the end. There’s a girl on UA-cam named Michelle, she discusses her trauma sometimes. Very therapeutic.
I just subscribed after watching a few videos this weekend (I never subscribe right away). I really like your content and personality. Your commentary is really insightful and entertaining.
They definitely give the employees a chance to purchase returned goods. I know someone personally that told me my bag that had a defect went on that site that they can buy from.
I just went to Louis Vuitton last week. My SA told me - never worry about an item that is unavailable- come into the store and order it. You have to pay for it in full and then pick it up. They can get it in one week!! That’s what I did…
They can write it off. They probably wrote it off at today’s value versus what they really cost back then. They need the tax deduction if they’re losing as much money as your other video Said.
Humor me with my theory for a moment but I feel lv gifted everyone the toiletry 26 to regain exclusivity and create FOMO with the brand I feel this is lv way of brainwashing people to run out and buy the item as soon as it drops hence creating fomo for the ones who wanted the item but couldn’t buy it in time before it was *allegedly discontinued * just my thoughts
Companies lying to make a profit. This is my major turn off with most “luxury” houses.

I'd buy that ashtray off of you for $3, double your money. What do you say ?
@@apeacefulmindx😂
That’s why that ashtray is normally $300. Someone has to pay for the one you bought for $1.50 because you certainly didn’t 😂
I am glad they were given to the employees, maybe shady but the employees benefited and they deserve it and a lot more.
The beginning was milked to the heavens, it took so long to get the information. You built a lot of suspense 😂❤️👏🏾👏🏾
Wugo wugo 😉

Me, a LV whore just isn’t interested in the brand any more. I love the canvas but I’m absolutely over it and the stupid prices they want now.

@@deborahcurtis1385I agree, they're trying to push their very expansive leathers but LV customers want the canvas bags, not £5000 leathers.

Yayoi is being allegedly placed on the online portal for staff sales…
I work at LV too and I didnt see anything YK posted on the portal either
I went to the sales in person in Paris and the online portal and they didn't have any items in either of them

Available on the US site for $1,490
LV and the rest of the luxury houses do whatever they want with their brand. The sad thing is that you guys keep buying them. So be it. 😊.
No, sales are falling off a cliff. People have woken up.
@@deborahcurtis1385 About time. 💪
It's only because they've run out of money....@@NeL-1
My thoughts are that it figures. Appreciate the info. Prayers to everyone’s health during this winter holiday season.
Louis Vuitton , where plastic worth gold.

Shadey. The chain version is so ugly, as you say.
Agree employees should have been given more. Better than going to land fill. I would have expected more, such as cash bonuses

I really find the Yayoi collection unappealing
not surprised! they rather toss or burn it.

The tea ☕️
Hot tea 😉💫✨🥂
That video is public and it is on LinkedIn.
Really? Pls tell me what to do to find it
They were hidin' in the LV Bunker?!😮 Love to know the date code on these!
Going to Paris next year and am going to seek the trifecta out, I also missed out☹️☹️☹️
seems the gift to lv empolyees is globally given.
So it would appear…
LV employees are only offered return items with the employer discount. 😢
Price difference between lv leather empreinte and Lv canvas is not much anymore.
Oh for God's sake just get to it!😮
Now now, poor baby. Go and train that attention span beyond the fruit fly standard
Check the date codes !
I missed out on it 🤔
