Pochette accessories is my most used bag. I only bought it last year but I use it daily. Such a durable and functional bag. Would definitely repurchase again!
I agree with the tips. The key pouch was one of my first purchases while I was waiting on my vintage bucket bag to get repaired. My bucket bag came with a pochette. The pochette and that key pouch are my most used pieces. While, I have collected several vintages bags, I wish I would have thought more about the everyday use of the item. After waiting several months for the bucket bag, I found that the bucket gm bag was too slender and not big enough for me. I tried to resell with no luck so I gave it my younger sister. I was able to score a NOE for $162 and got the leather replaced. I found that it is the bucket bag I always needed.
I am still on the fence with the classic Noe. It is big. I love it but I am right now in the process of testing out and using the Noe BB instead. Different bag but I still need more time to assess the situation better. 😉💖
Thank you, Dacob! I love your channel. I've been watching you for a while now. I am new to uxury and watch your content to learn about the luxury world, and you have been so very helpful. Two days ago, I bit the bullet and bought my first classic double flap. I'm thrilled with the bag and love it but not the price.
I bought my first designer bag in 2001 or 2002 - saw it in a window on my walk to work. It was a Fendi bag by KL with the Zucca print and studs running down both sides. I was in my early 20's and fell hard in love. It was marked down 40% to $1,200 Canadian dollars. That was a fortune to me back then. I borrowed the money from a friend who was saving for a car. All these years later I still have and still love that bag. It is in pristine condition and worth every cent I had to pay back to my friend!
Great video as always. 👍 Buy the best you can afford and classic. Don't waste money on slgs, unless you really need them. I still remember buying my first luxury bag when I moved to London. I saved for it for a while but the experience of going to LV boutique and getting the bag was unforgettable for a young me at that time. Almost thirty years later, I still have this bag as it's been never out of fashion (Speedy). Totally agree on the LV key pouch. So versatile. Have been carrying mine everyday for the last twenty years or so.
The LV pochette accessoires in monogram and DA are both "place in cart" most of the time now. Before this most recent price increase, they were nearly impossible to get. Not anymore since they went up to $1290. I bought mine for $530 in 2019/2020. I can't believe how much they've gone up!
Interesting video Dacob. Thanks for the tip re the Chanel Camelia, I never considered it. Re Hermès, I would recommend costume jewelry with leather pieces and the Calvi & Bastia- these are good pieces to appreciate the different leathers. Silver Hermes pieces are my daily essentials. Couldn’t agree more.
Great options thanks Dacob. From Hermes, I am pretty sure I will be choosing the Kelly belt and a silk scarf but will look at their silver jewelry 😀. Have a great day.
Hi Dacob! As part of the Fashion Bunker fam I, for the past few months, have been rebuilding my LV collection. Louis Vuitton is my favorite brand. I love the history and the heritage of the brand. Over the past few months I’ve gotten very attached to the monogram pieces (LV Monogram is my favorite) and recently went into the boutique a few times the past month and picked up a key pouch, six ring key holder, zippy coin purse, pocket organizer, and the pochette Métis. I have an appointment this week before the store opens to pick up another bag. I’m looking at the Speedys. I really love big bags so am thinking of getting the 35. How do you feel about this size for everyday in the classic style? Not the bandouliere. Or do you think the bandouliere version would be better for the OPTION of having a strap? Also, I know I’ll eventually end up with both but should I stick with the monogram or shoot for the damier ebene? I live in an area where it rains a lot and winters can be rough at times. So am wondering if I should get the damier now and wait for summer to get the monogram? Any input would greatly appreciated! From anyone! ❤️
My favorite starter pieces are the sunglasses, honestly. Particularly Dior and Prada sunglasses. I am a sunglasses collector and have a few sunglasses organizers, so they are always easy to look through and choose from. Now do I have a problem with sunglasses? You might say, yes. But I love a classy and uniquely styled pair of shades. You would also probably say that that's out of the chin to pelvis area. But I love them and think they have to potential to add a lot of sass to an outfit
These were really thoughtful tips. Suggesting a wallet with an opening similar to the classic flap, or the PA, which is actually big enough to hold a phone! I recently made my first luxury purchase, and I chose to do it in store (Gucci medium Aphrodite). I chose something I can afford and that I like. I am okay knowing that some things are out of my price range, especially because I wanted the boutique experience. I guess if I would have been okay going 2nd hand, I could have more options (I like Celine Luggage), but I didn't want to worry about authentication or packages going missing, and I wanted it new. It was a nice experience, though having it confirmed what I suspected: nice, but nothing to lose sleep over. In the end, it was just a bag. And if I never have another such experience, it's not a tragedy. I got to do it once, and am fortunate even in that. And I am not ashamed to say that some things I cannot afford; there's a giant world of goods I can't afford, and it's okay!
For a Hermes Birkin, you have to be on a long waiting list lol. I was lucky to find mine in a small Hermes boutique in Avignon while travelling through France. It was in a back room for a client and they rang her but she didn’t want to but it. So my husband snapped it up 😊❤
Thank you! For your insights, now I understand that luxury world better. Sure, I have a lot of small leather things instead of the one bag, I really want but cannot afford 😊 will review my purchasing practice!

For Hermes, I agree with the whimsy of it. I like the aesthetic. I recommend the bandanas if you like wearing those. It depends on your style and where you live, because where I live wearing one like a cowboy is normal and does not stand out. (I also think it's super cute on men.) Do you have any opinions on Cartier? I kind of like the look of their bags, but Cartier seems to be an under-the-radar thing. I rarely hear about it.
Thanks for all the info! Perfect timing as I am starting my Chanel collection. Going for the classic and a vintage classic/Diana. Please let me know where is a good place to buy Chanel vintage in US and Paris 😘❤️🥰
I was in Chanel Cambon last year in the middle of their Eu summer and was surprised that 2 of their popular pouches were available so I bought them plus some classic wallets in caviar in both gold and silver plus some skincare. I am also surprised because at that the time I am the only one in skincare/makeup section but a lot of people were waiting for bags or footwear. Both SA who attended me in skincare and lethergoods were very helpful. My entire experience in Chanel that day is totally opposite in Hermes Faubourg where I found its chaotic, long people in the queue I mean people are literally just standing to wait eventhough there are no guaranteed that will be served! Also in Chanel while I was waiting I was given a drink. I was at my tipping point and about to leave Hermes until I have a chat with a lovely lady who apparently a senior staff and she called someone to assist me. Long story short I was able to buy all the items in my list that day in less than 30 mins.
Great video. I’m a fan of Chanel, however I’m not a fan of the classic bags for some strange reason I don’t like the shape of the bag pocket. I bought my very first Chanel bag last year September I purchased a seasonal small flap bag. Love it. In regards to Hermes maybe I’m strange but I don’t like their bags at all, love their silk scarves. After seeing your silver bracelet I think I will purchase that next.
Hermes has awesome fine jewelry. I am very satisfied with it 🥰💖 I am also not crazy about their bags but would not say no to a nice sized birkin… haha. As for chanel, I love their camellias a lot lately and their brooches.
Hi Dacob! You make such great points! My first Chanel purchase was a Gabrielle and I only purchased that because it was $4,100.00 and less than the double flap bag! When I think about it, I am sort of sorry that I did not buy a 19 bag because that's what I wanted but didn't want to spend the $$$. Now I still want the 19, but whoa! the price is crazy! I prefer to buy new but when I get my Brikin, it will have to be pre-loved. Too much $$$$!
Thats exactly the point AI Ryan. Most of us tend to buy around the product we actually want that is pricier. And this way we chip at our budgets and seem to never really get to the center of what we really want. We have all been there. You are not alone 🙏🏻🥰💖

Agree completely that as a long as we know this and still enjoy the brand then there is nothing wrong with it especially if we are are not getting into debt and we can ACTUALLY afford it.
I bought bags I love and I don't wear them because I don't want to be mugged 🤪They just sit on the shelf and do nothing. They are obviously designer and the wrong people will know. Be realistic with yourself - will you actually use the bag? Will you feel safe with it?
Exactly. Thats the point we need to ask ourselves. If we are not going to use our bags and other luxury products we but, then do we still need to buy them at all?
Dear Dacob... you've touched on this a little but I've noticed at least two luxury UA-camrs shutting their channels down. Some are even selling off their luxury to fund other projects. What are your thoughts on the future of luxury UA-cam?
the chaine d'âncre can be made at home with soda pop tabs!! the links are identical shshshh. they are also very similar to an application of a dior logo, and hermès has nothing to do with nautical themes. at first i was enchanted...
My sweet sa offered me the PA. I was waiting for so long but no longer want this after I got Celine Ava. 😂 after I listened I’m now a little sad now that I rejected my sweet sa😢 but I think I made a right choice since my another monogram lv just sit in the closet because I’m afraid of cowhide 😂
You should check out my video on how to care for cowhide LV vachetta leather dear. I used to be afraid of it too but much less now. Here is my video: ua-cam.com/video/7wRr3CvtOlc/v-deo.html
I'm just disgusted with the games of the current market. My collection I assambled since 2014 is consistent of ONLY second hand. My classic chanel, delvaux, hermes, LV... If you ask me, don't contribute to it. I love your videos Dacob by the way❤
I feel like by you posting video with the products, Chanel is gonna raise the prices on these things too now….how freaking sneaky and messed up they are 😂😅
I have been very careful these past weeks as I have been wearing it on the daily and it has never fallen off. The trick is, in my opinion, to get the correct size for one’s wrist. If just even slightly too long, then the bracelet comes undone easily. 💖
@@SuperDacob that is a very good point. I do like my bracelets loose, but if they are tighterthen I think you are right - the ‘pull’ will hold it in place. I was tempted to add a very thin safety chain onto mine as I lost one before…. (I know I should not add things on as it is not as designed…. I wonder what you think?). I just have to take care when taking jumper off as here in Britain weather is changeable ha ha. Always layering! I am loving your channel, by the way. Great work as always.

@@SuperDacob okay thanks for the response, i am looking for a luxury bag and i think the sac du jour is my top pick at the moment. Was scared the quality might not be up there with the other high end brands ☺️.

Be realistic with yourself - will you actually use the bag? Will you feel safe with it?
Exactly. Thats the point we need to ask ourselves. If we are not going to use our bags and other luxury products we but, then do we still need to buy them at all?
Bought the pochette A last week.only one in the uk allegedly……already been offered a£1k more on the purchase price and I’m doing it…..❤️
Congrats on scoring one. Sad to see you let it go though. 💖
were you... on brazil?
Dear Dacob... you've touched on this a little but I've noticed at least two luxury UA-camrs shutting their channels down. Some are even selling off their luxury to fund other projects. What are your thoughts on the future of luxury UA-cam?
Thank you for the question garssympa 🙏🏻 I have noted down on my list 💖
🤔🤔🤔 is the background the Stahl House?
The possibilities are endless 😉💖
the chaine d'âncre can be made at home with soda pop tabs!! the links are identical shshshh. they are also very similar to an application of a dior logo, and hermès has nothing to do with nautical themes. at first i was enchanted...
Enjoy making your soda pop version then. Wugo wugo
@@SuperDacob Hahahhhahhaha. arts and crafts is pure recession-core
Second hand Chanel boy bags and flap bags are now selling for $6000-$8000 plus. Totally ridiculous
❤❤❤
💖
I'm just disgusted with the games of the current market. My collection I assambled since 2014 is consistent of ONLY second hand. My classic chanel, delvaux, hermes, LV... If you ask me, don't contribute to it. I love your videos Dacob by the way❤
Truth
I waited until I can buy it comfortably.
Best feeling when that moment comes. Very satisfying 🥰
I feel like by you posting video with the products, Chanel is gonna raise the prices on these things too now….how freaking sneaky and messed up they are 😂😅
Be careful with your Hermes bracelet. The opening is easy to get caught in things and the bracelet can come off.
Hi, I was wondering why do you always only talk about Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Hermès and dior and not ysl when you talk luxury ?
Do you feel ysl is less luxurious, less qualitative or just not a fan of the brand ? ❤
I love YSL too. I just reviewed their newest collection a few weeks ago. Obsessed with that collection.
@@SuperDacob okay thanks for the response, i am looking for a luxury bag and i think the sac du jour is my top pick at the moment. Was scared the quality might not be up there with the other high end brands ☺️.
I think dupes are taking off because people are scared of that novelty wearing of and they spent 'housing deposit money'.
Or find a rich boyfriend/husband
Don’t but what you can’t afford and don’t take out a loan for them 😂
