Can you still pump the 1050 at all I did a lot of winging and mostly road 900 fanatic low aspect you can’t pump that very well. But for wake foiling I want something I can pump but still do tricks
is it possible to dock start and also do what you do on the wake at the beginning of this video? if I can get one foil and board for that, which one? Thank you!
Great question. It really depends on your ability level and weight. If you wanted one wing to do it all I would say the HS1550 v2 will be the ticket. It will be a little small for your first few dock starts but it will boost well. If you wanted to focus more on gliding swells and dock starting than boosting then bump it up a size to the HS1850.
Thanks for the excellent video. I am an intermediate Wing Foiler and weight 90kg and want to learn how to dock start and pump. Which front foil is going to be best suited to learning these skills - 1850 or 2400?
Killer. Definitely go CF2400. It won’t be as fast as the HS1850 when you get it up to pump speed but it will give you the support and stability you need to learn to dock start. As you get better with the pumping, you can shim the tail for reduced drag and more glide on your pumps.
Austin, love the skills, Larry.
