The Sickest '66 Chevelle on the Planet by Timeless Kustoms | 700 hp | AutotopiaLA

- My friend Mike Cavanah owns a few badass bowtie cars and one by one we’re going to drive them all. In this episode Mike walks us through his full custom 1966 Chevelle built by our friends at Timeless Kustoms then we take it for a drive through the country roads of Hidden Hills, CA.
This ’66 Chevelle starts with an Art Morrison chassis and builds up from there. Ride Tech triple adjustable coil overs, Brembo 15” carbon ceramics for big stopping power. A blown LS9 for power making just shy of 700 hp at the wheels is fed through a Tremec T56 6 speed manual transmission. This car is fully caged and is not only stunning to look at but it performs too. It wasn’t built to be a trailer queen. Mike has auto crossed it multiple times and unlike a lot of customs, this car has around 6k miles on so you know it gets driven!
What a total blast to have the pleasure of driving this amazing Timeless Kustoms built ’66 Chevelle. Enjoy the ride!!

I like the fact he actually drives his car. Never understood why people build these awesome cars and hardly ever drive them. When my 67 Camaro is done I am definitely driving it. Lol
I completely agree with you Howard. He drives it and his '69 Camaro regularly. The Camaro was built by Timeless Kustoms also. We did an episode on it last week. When you finish your Camaro I hope we get to see it. And see it driving!!
Poor safety.
Howard Bumpus ummm it’s called show car 🤷🏼♂️
Most of these dudes spends hundred of thousands of dollars and at that point it becomes a money object that they dont want to get a scratch on,I dont care if I spend a million dollars that's what you get insurance for and you drive the shit, you crash it and you fix it and you move on,drive that camaro like ya stole it man!
@@stevenrobertson0787 totally agree.... I don't care how much money I put into a car I'm driving it. I'm not for the "trailer" queen stuff I build to drive. I'm about 90% done with my 69 Chevelle and it will be driven.
The best looking Chevelle to me.
"It's got high compression"
"Do you know what the compression is?"
"No"
Priceless!
camarofreak6957 literally was thinking the exact same thing! Hahaha
camarofreak6957 same thoughts
Lol
2 funny
With that supercharger I’m sure it does not have high compression.
Lol..
I do appreciate people who build and drive their own cars. What is a car made for? To drive dude!!!!!!!!
I LOVE how the stripes are only on one side of the car. Also, the headlight intake is a super rad touch. Then the fact its caged with carbon rotors really gives the driver a lot of confidence. Which you need road racing a 3800 pound+ pound car.
It’s a cool one for sure and he recently did a few more upgrades
That is LITERALLY my dream car come true!
ThAt is one insain 66 I'm so glad you shared this with us I'll never forget it. Back in 1975 my dad bought a 1967 chevelle 396 4speed car that was pretty dang fast but you car is on a whole other level..
Wish it was mine bro! Really wish.
I love how he made room for all three! And all three of these cars are awesome!
He’s got some good ones
‘67 Chevelle convertible is my ultimate dream ride. But that six six is magnificent!!
Absolutely beautiful car......Gotta love a heavy Chevy!
This is the first time I've seen this channel. You have a new subscriber here. Keep up the great content!!!
This 66 Chevelle is bad to the bone. Love it. Great video Sean, keep up.
Thanks Nik. It's such a cool car. Timeless Kustoms knows how to build a car that looks great but also drives great. Can't say that about all custom car builders. Are you going to Sunset GT tomorrow? Might try to run over for some coffee and exotics in the morning.
LOVE , LOVE , LOVE THE GLOSSY RIGHT WHITE PAINT, ULTRA CLEAN , A PURE 10 OF A CAR , PERFECT TASTE !
I completely agree with you
My first car (that I actually drove) was a 1967 Chevelle, love these cars and this one is SWEET! Good job on the video also, the shots of the car accelerating away from the camera were awesome. Thumbs up on the video and the car!
I'm definitely digging the 66 bad ass Chevelle. Love the way they mixed the old with the new. That cars name should be UNLIMITED.
It’s gone through some recent upgrades including a new motor, seats and front end work. Might have to reshoot this one
Beautiful car, Sir! Thank you both for sharing!
You’re welcome and I completely agree. Such a cool build
What a beautiful ride in both looks and sound!
I wish we knew how to get better sound cause that car sounds sooooo good!
Bad ass ride thank god we live in the best country in world.
I've never been a chevelle guy, but god Damn. my mind is blown away👍good vid btw
Car is amazing ! I love that car !!!
Definitely sweet for sure. But Ring Bros. '66 Chevelle is next level sick!
Love that car! Done just right!
Awesome. Loving the noise on that. Great work
Thanks Ross. Yeah, that thing sounds incredible. I wish we could get the audio better. Especially when the decel pops and crackles happen. Awesome!
So happy I found your channel, or it found me. Whatever. Kick ass man looking forward to the next one.
man that thing sounds sweet, loud and obviously brash torquey but a smooth resonation. i also love how he actually drives it those kinds of cars need to hit the road more!
beautiful ride - sounds great too - thnx for sharing.
Glad you enjoyed it. Killer car!
great channel and also, good to see you interact with your comments!
Wicked build and it's a driver....gotta love that 🤙
Oh yeah and in process of getting some new goodies currently
Didn't even hear the music , I was listening to the car . I drive an all original 66 L78 SS Chevelle . Before that I had a66 Malibu that was lowered a little . It had a 427/435H.P. ,turbo 400 and a 273 gear . Pearl White and a black interior . It was fun and fast but guarantee it didn't run or handle like that beast . That is a beautiful , well done automobile .
Both really cool cars. Yeah, I love this Chevelle by Timeless Kustoms. They build really exceptional cars. Check out some of our videos on Vicious Mustang which is another Timeless Kustoms build that is over the top! And thanks for checking out our channel.
That body work is top notch 🤙🏿👌🏿
Beautiful!
EXACTLY what I would want to do with a 66 Chevelle, love it! Hey,two Mikes think alike.....he just has deeper pockets. LOL
Wow buetiful.
Love to do a roady in that.
thumbs up dude, you put out quality videos and its much appreciated..
Thanks! We’ve been doing this just over a year and we keep trying to get better at shooting, editing and always showing amazing cars.
Sweet ride, I would ride that car all day long.
That chevelle is so tastefully done
I agree. It's really subtle and almost understated. And it's incredible to drive.
@@AutotopiaLA Don't know if it's coincidence... I text you a while ago. I owned a '67 Chevelle SS 396ci 350 hp 4-speed stick. Stock factory. Nice. Sorry I sold it. The chevelles you're showin' are kick-ass monsters. Lots & lots $ invested.
Thank you. Appreciate what your doing.
Yeah! Liked the location for the drive test here. That '66 looks like it Sticks-
I love that garage.
Amassing!!
I just Absolutely Love ❤️ RED INTERIOR!
Yes! Red on white is beautiful
Good video....I can feel how fun it is to drive, you don't often get that in a video. 👍
This was a blast to drive. We might reshoot too since it got a new motor, seats and a few other upgrades
great build
This is one beautiful 66
It's a great car. Had a great time shooting with Mike and the Chevelle. Soon we'll shoot his '69 Camaro.
She’s beautiful enough power to have some fun on the streets. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
That was a gorgeous car. Need to see his other cars. 🙏👍✌️🌈❤️🌞😎🇱🇷🏎
We’ve shown a few of them on the channel. His Z06, widebody V Wagon and how 69 twin turbo Camaro
Beautiful
Bad ass car!
Great video
This is very cool and interesting thanks
Is this a real comment or a robot? Asking cause I saw a similar comment earlier...but THANKS!!
We need some price tags on these builds so I know how many powerball tickets I need to buy. Lol. I'd give my left nut for a Chevelle exactly like that but a 67. Great content!
That's probably a 200k build.
No joke. It gets expensive when you sub out most of the work.
Keep em comin
I love this car! If there's one thing I could change it would be to put my name on the title! Amazing job!!
great vid. congrats
Beautiful Car !!!
Sure is with some recent upgrades including a new motor
I'm digging it man, sweet👍😎
Such a killer build
I got a 66 skylark that's how I always picture it . Car looks great
Cool car!
That car sits so nice on the road hey? Amazing build, I would prefer a more exposed engine though... But one helluva Chev
Perfection
Baddass!!!😊
I hope my 66 is half as bad ass as this car. Good work!!!
They nailed it on this build. Can’t wait to see yours
I wouldn't change a thing!💯🙌✌
Beauty...absolute Beauty!!! A word to the wise though, block out your plates on the video. Not a good idea to put that info out there!!! Congrats again on an amazing car!!!
I dig everything you do brother!.. Awesome videos... Love from South Africa 🌍
Thank you and this ones an old one for us now!
Love back from North America! 🤘🏻
i also have a chevelle 67 ss 396 4 spd ive had since high school diamond tuck int. but not running but gr8 video n ur car is baaaadaaasss
My personal favorite the 1966 chevelle
Great car.... 66 is my fave. Great blower whine..
Robert Frias this car is built so well. Timeless Kustoms are badass! Looking forward to shooting his twin turbo ‘69 Camaro soon.
What. A. Ride 👌😩👍
Yessuh. BAD ASS!👍🏽
Thanks man! Soon we'll be shooting his twin turbo '69 Camaro from the same builder Timeless Kustoms.
Los Chevelle 66 - 67 los hicieron con una body line "súper clásica" muy simple y fina , pero logrando un impresionante aspecto, y que con pocas modificaciones pueden seguir elevando su especial belleza.
Missing the 67 nova ll and your collection will be complete! Hehe bad ass cars man.. I hope my 66 chevllele can be this awesome some day
There's actually a 67 Nova on the lifts in the background in here. It was built by Year One. Still needs a little love but a great car.
Well heck your have the best of everything..nice rides man!
Dream car right there
It sure is a good one and had some recent upgrades including a new motor
I think a car this amazing needs an amazing color and wheels.
I hear ya but one drive and you forget everything except just how cool it is to drive it
@@AutotopiaLA 😄😂😂😁🤣😄😅 I believe it too. Lol
More Mike!
Yes!!
Sweet Christmas
Man im hooked on this channel
You’re digging deep with this video 😂 glad you’re enjoying it!
Sick !
Completely and recently it got some serious upgrades
Learned how to drive in one of these....first car. 66 chevelle 396, 4 speed. Marina blue, black vinyl top.
Mine was Yellow with black vinyl top 396 375 hp 4 speed with a 3.55 rear end . Are you married LOL.
Beautiful ride, not usually into the LS swaps but at least it's in a Bad Ass Chevy. Hell it looks like you could get in and drive anywhere. Really liking the old school looks with some new school technology.
The sickiest chevelle on the planet is the '66 chevelle recoil made by the Ringbrothes !!!
Muito bom o vídeo.
Lindo o carro
Very very nice. But that '66 Recoil from Ringbrothers tho...whew!
Sweet!
With some recent upgrades including a new motor..
Man... I wouldn't want to stop
I really like the fender stripes on the one side it’s so different and I love the red on white
Yeah, really clean creative Chevelle
AutotopiaLA yes it is
Love the pro tour g look on 60's muscle. Officially subscribed.
Awesome! Thanks for the sub and yeah, the custom muscle world is my favorite of the car world.
Stunning car! Great interview, keep them coming!
"This is a race motor".... what about the engine? Bought, not built 😲
He just swapped this motor/engine/whatever you want to call it...curious to see and drive it now cause it was great when we shot this
“Sick” ?? That Chevelle looks very healthy indeed to me. Very nice paint job, I’d be too scared to park it anywhere in the city.
Imagine having the money to spend on these cars like this guy...so jealous 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
He doesn’t look overly rich, but he does look like how he knows how to spend his money and actually appreciates what he spends his money on!
@@jimmycline4778 The fact that he doesn't look rich has you thinking he simply knows how to spend wisely is hilarious. Guy is completely and utterly loaded rich. Didn't ya hear him say he has a few cars professional done by a 2nd to none outfit and this all on his passion let alone whatever else strikes his facy.
Guy is hella rich
My favorite year
My favorite year. Looks more menacing.
Best year for the Chevelle imo too
yes sir. salute
Nice car.
Definitely take him out to the 'Twisties.'
Ian Chamberlain yes!!
Nice car
Chevelle, Chevelle, Chevelle my love....
This one just got a new motor and a few other elements
@@AutotopiaLA I'm going to be honest, I'm not a fan of white on cars but on this one it goes without problem.
That has to be probably one of the baddest chevelles I've ever seen
Agreed all the way here 👊
Great stuff!! She is a baddie! You gonna start Merch?
I will start merch after there's enough demand. Hopefully that'll be soon.
Love how my IPad vibrates every time they hit the gas.
I like the front spliter on it
This is such a cool build and in process of getting a few new treatments
Very nice car but can't claim sickest 66 on planet when the Ring Brothers 66 is still roaming the earth.
That is a seriously cool build. Recoil!!
Sweeeeet ride
Yes yes
