    How long do you bake it? Can we air-dry the clay?

    • @MyVian
      @MyVian  4 роки тому +4

      Hi! Thank you so much! Leaves and birds stick to the clay during baking, no glue is needed :) we bake it according to manufacturers instructions on the package, each manufacturer has different time&temperature. And for the air-dry clay- we don’t know, we are specialised on the polymer clay and this is hard to say for us, whether it would work in the same way :)

    Can I ask you how you avoid bubbles in your clay pieces? I make clay jewelry with a 3D effect, similar to your design. I find I sometimes get air bubbles in my pieces. How do you avoid that?! Thanks!!

    • @MyVian
      @MyVian  3 роки тому +1

      Hi! There are many tips and ideas online, but what we find the best against bubbles is to create the base from fresh and soft package that does not have to be much conditioned because conditioning is responsible for air bubbles trapped in the clay. If this is not an option for you then you need to condition carefully (folding the clay/tearing the clay) and if some bubbles appear, use a needle or a knife to release the air.

    Good day! thanks for the master class! I have several questions: 1. how thick is the blue base layer? 2. How to process the edge of the product after baking, so that it becomes even? 3. What is the coating of the products after baking?

    • @MyVian
      @MyVian  3 роки тому +1

      Hi Eva! Thank you! The blue base is about 3mm thick. After baking you can smoothen the edges by using sanding paper. No coating is necessary but if you wish, you can use some gloss, some of the polymer clay manufacturers also offer glosses- for example Fimo.

    Where to buy this polymer clay in India?

    • @MyVian
      @MyVian  3 роки тому

      Hi! We are based in Europe and here the polymer clay is easily available in craft/art stores and online. We guess it should be similar in India, but we do not know. Maybe other viewers, who are based in India, could leave a comment and recommend a store?

      Hi Kalynne, thank you! Do you mean the roller or the blade? Anyway, for the tools we always google an online store and shop at the store with best shipping options. Or we shop in local arts/craft stores ☺️
