Tbh I understand Zoya's side. If she doesn't like him then she doesn't. Just because he does favors to gain her love doesn't mean she needed to love him..whatever he did was done with motive, was not because of niceness. He did not have to do all that work, no self respect for himself is his fault, may be should have gone for therapy. She always made it clear for him . Why should she be blamed for not liking him and wanting her partner to be a specific way. Doesn't everyone have a type? Plus she loved that Hindu guy and wanted to be marry him. Let's be honest, the religion was just an excuse, she did not love him. So what's the big deal? Why should she love him just because he has done things for her. So next time a guy does something nice to me to gain my affection, I have to love and marry him?

He separated two people who really loved each other and ruined their life for his own selfish desire. He threatened suicide if she didn't accept him and even separated her from the love of her life just for his selfish reasons. From Zoya's point of view he was villain in her love story who tore them apart and ruined their lives.
I'm a girl and I won't just blindly take the zoya's side. But Zoya knew he liked her then why did she take advantage of that and let him do all the chores. Any sensible girl will do the opp, if uk a guy likes you, is obsessed with u but u don't, then u stay the f*ck away from him. Uk if he is willing to be a servant for u in hopes one day u will love him back. Not saying only the female character was wrong but both of them were. In total it's a really toxic relationship and I'm so glad I never watched it. Only the summary of this from this video.
