The purpose of comedy is to make people laugh. Teaching their kids to be respectful to women is the job of parents. If your parents taught you that it's the job of comedians to make sure your kids grow up respecting women, then they clearly failed as parents. They could have contributed to creating a safe country for women by simply keeping their marriage "clean" and not having kids. But apparently they were not smart enough. Maybe you will be smart enough to not have kids, but I doubt it.
