    Something a lot of people seem to forget when thinking of Poch is how well managers have done after failing and leaving PSG. The job Poch did at Spurs was amazing but everyone is so negative towards him bc of a bad few months in Paris. Ancelotti, Emery and not to mention Tuchel all got sacked at PSG and did great things after

      @@afiqmaznoh4188 Aside from ppl clowning PSG, I think managing them is just a very weird situation because of the fact that you won't get credit for literally anything except a UCL win. Even at Madrid for example, which has crazy high standards, if you win the league your job is safe. In PSG you don't get tested against elite opposition for most of the year and then immediately have to switch it on with no hiccups for 4 rounds of intense UCL knockouts.

    I’ll be honest. I was hoping we would hire Enrique. But with the Athletic article coming talking about how Jorginho was basically the glue that held the squad together because of his ability to converse in multiple languages, I have to say that the board need to hurry up and sign Poch right now.

    I am convinced by your analysis. We have overspent this season. I reckoned we don't have to buy anyone for next season. The squad is already heavy bloated with players. Just let Pochettino train our youngster like Broja, DD Fofana as our next Harry Kane. And we have Chukumeka and Kante to be our permanent double pivot role with Enzo. We still have Casadei and Andrey Santos to come back from their loan. If you keep buying, this will hinder the youngster progress. Just stick with the young team and remove the deadwood. Bear in mind, we have already overspent on overvalue players and overvalue contracts. Next season target is to get a world class manager and to remove all the deadwood.

    • @mhkl7476
      @mhkl7476 Рік тому +3

      Chelsea absolutely need to buy more player. We need a dm goalkeeper and striker. All the deadwood in the club needs to go but we don’t really have a striker considering ddf is still young and broja will not come back to his best. Kepa isn’t good enough for Chelsea and we don’t have a dm (and don’t say Andrey santos he still doesn’t have a work permit and we don’t know how long it’ll take or how good he’ll be)

    • @contagonist8478
      @contagonist8478 Рік тому +3

      This⬆️ I been saying this for 2-3 seasons. Kepa is a huge liability. Forget the fact that he occasionally has good reaction saves, a Chelsea Keeper needs to be world class in every game. A Keeper is as important as a striker. Nkunku is already coming and Broja will be coming back.
      Deadwood that should leave. Rlc, Ziyech, sterling, aubamayamg, azpi❤️, Kepa, moderfakkin Cucaracha the hopeless imposter & pulisic allthough I quite like him.

    I think Poch is the best coach we can have at this time. Is he the one who will win us the league and multiple C1? That's what we all wish but only time will tell.
    One thing's for sure, we have talented players at our disposal. Players who need to be nurtured, developed and guided which is something Poch will do if his previous stints are to be believed with football easy on the eye on top of that.
    Different seasons in life require different methods. Sometimes, a builder is needed (Poch, Naggelsman) and when the fruits are mature then a ruthless winner is needed to reach that next level. I wish Poch all the best.

I can't wait for him to sign and get the players out we don't need or want to commit everything to CFC and return us to elite club that we've been for 25 years. We have the players but we need a manager that can get the best out of them. Just look at the decline of Delle since Poch was replaced! He was a nobody and Poch made him lethal and since then his career is in free fall.

    I think he's perfect for us right now. He knows how to steer a team in transition looking for a stadium rebuild, something no manager actually has in their CV barring maybe Wenger. To consistently hit T4 with that Tottenham side, I think it's a guarantee that he'd do the same with us, stabilise the club and even fight for titles(if we win, that's a bonus). He'll leave a well coached stable club for whoever does come in next in a few years.

    Great video as always, TQT. One small addition I'd make is to have Mason Mount start at RM for Poch instead of Madueke. Mount could very easily hit the prime of his playing condition playing in that Eriksen Anchor role, where his abilties would shine better than they ever have. Their profiles are extremely alike. And just imagine, a right-side triangle of Rice, Mount and James. Of course, everyone but me thinks he's already left for some reason, but we all know he'll stay. Also, Havertz could find form as a back up to Nkunku in that 10 role, as his profile is very similar to Dele's.

      Mount is a spoilt toxic brat. Im not saying he's not good. He is. But he has a really bad attitude and plays when he feels like it. Ive seen live at football games how hes ignored instructions from lamps, tuchel, potter. And hes definitely one of the main culprits as to why the dressing room is so toxic. Most of you mount fanboys don't see shit and only love him because he's an academy boy since the age of 6

    Pocchetino is the logical appointment, a coach with an exceptional record with the Tottenham squad, despite transfer constraints and the experience of managing elite players in a nuthouse of a club, namely PSG. But it will take several seasons to overcome the problems the new owners have visited on the club. Let’s not forget they were still European club and World club champions. Still competing on all fronts under Tuchel, despite the very evident problems of the limitations of his squad and the underperformance of Lukaku ( I can’t believe he may be back. As a supporter of my beloved Spurs it makes me sick to the stomach that 'Daniel Levy' is AGAIN ignoring the Spurs worldwide fane base by not bringing Poch back home where he belongs. Levy was a fool for not backing Poch properly when he asked and then sacking him when we had a poor patch of results because the squad wasn't upgraded when needed. We all wish 'Daniel' how he so loves to be known would just hand over to a more football minded person.
    I hope Poch is a great success at Chelsea and Levy gets to understand he's made yet another huge footballing mistake. 'Audere Est Facere'

    I can see Kai playing as #10 or right midfielder (never a false 9 or real 9 that’s fucked up)
    As #10 then we can release Noni and Mudyrk to play 1 on 1
    As right midfield we can put Nkunku in the CAM to maximise fluidity or put Mase/Conor to up the pressing game
    My two cents

      @@saraha2250 eriksen did not play as a 10 under Poch tho. Dele was the 10. Eriksen played off the right in a 4-2-3-1 and then tucked into midfield as an 8. That’s y I think Mount would be perfect

    • @saraha2250
      @saraha2250 Рік тому

      @@nickortiz215 Alli started as the 10 but was never the 10, he didn’t have the creative and technical abilities as Eriksen so Eriksen was tasked with dropping deep to pick the ball and create chances and Kane was also dropping off for Alli to run into. Eriksen was the creative playmaker 10 not an 8. Behind him was Dombele and Dier. Dier was dropping between the CB’s to form a back 3 with the fullbacks becoming wingbacks. Dombele was a physical but not very creative player which gave Eriksen the room to be creative having a physical cover. At CFC we have Enzo and need a physical player to cover him which will free him to be more creative. I don’t think the Spurs system will work at CFC directly because we have different players. Mount is not as creative as Eriksen so using him as a creative playmaker will be a huge flaw and will limit Enzo’s creativity.

      Taking a chance on Broja is too risky to his own development. The hunger to prove he can lead the line as a starter is what every young striker needs, especially at a big team. 10mins turns to 15 and in no time he’s learning off an elite striker and also getting ready to be the starter

    Poch will put us in the sunken place. Playing attractive football, yet ultimately winning nothing. I predict consecutive, hard-fought, top-4 finishes under him. Some rather underwhelming exits in Europe. And, one day, TQT will produce a video under the title: “Has Poch been successful at Chelsea?”. The truest litmus test of our winning culture will be the answer to that question in such an event.

    Once we get a decent number 9 I think we might finally get to see the best of Havertz. His best role is attacking midfielder. Either as a number 10 or on the right hand side so he can cut in onto his favoured left foot. With a new striker we can take the pressure of being the main goalscorer off of Havertz and let him do what he does best.
    He could ply the same role as Deli Alli did under Poch. Or on the right of an attacking midfield three as Poch likes to play a 4231. With wingbacks providing the width. We just happen to have the two best wingbacks in the league when fit.
    ????
    Mudryk. Nkunku. Havertz
    Fernandez Ugarte
    Chilwell Badiashile. Fofana. James
    ??????
    How we could line up with Poch. Ugarte I think would be the perfect partner for Enzo and over half the price than Rice. We also need a striker and a GK. I honestly think we will be challenging for top 4 again next season.

    Describing Enzo as a deep lying playmaker that's putting him into a box when the reason he is so special is because he can do it all otb. If Poch has a brain and tries to adapt to the squad he is getting he'll let Enzo roam and be impactful on every third of the pitch not only from deep. Rice or Ugarte are better match to play w Enzo since they have more experience playing sitter than Caicedo who has excelled mostly at adding to a press, and is not a sitter.
