This is why I have been in anguish for the family and the church at large for 3 years straight. I feel like this every Sunday. The preacher chooses platitudes to speak while we know that image-bearers are bearing the daily disintegration of human dignity. We need time to glorify God together in worship regardless, true. However, the hireling shepherd will not lead us to our role as light and salt, and so we just sing a little louder and run away to our paneled houses while the temple of God lies in ruins (Haggai 1).
We ought be the purifiers of that which is corrupted;at the very least let our good works so shine so that our Lord is glorified. Even the darkness skitters from the light, not wanting to be revealed. If we agree with an evil, woe is us. But what of our complacency to such an evil? Cannot our shepherds teach the congregation concerning the present deception and lead us to speak the truth in love, boldly and not fearing?

Yes, and I hope you support those refugees seeking our support in the Free World which we have been gifted with - but not without responsibilities! Our selected leaders need to be reminded of those human beings needing our support, and I plan to do that thru prayer and actions of voting with my conscience. My prayers are for you and all those concerned as well.

Thank you for all you are doing to help save these precious babies from being killed. I too am a pro life activist. Every week I pray and witness outside of the local Planned Parenthood. It is a travesty the silence of the church as babies are being aborted every day! Fortunately there is a remnant of Catholics that have prayed for years and have had success in leading some abortion minded women to change their mind. I joined the fight October 2017. Although I am only one of two non Catholics, and only person of color praying at Planned Parenthood; I am proud to pray and witness with my Catholic brothers and sisters. Where are all the other churches??? God Bless you.

I agree, we cannot sit by and allow the evil in the world to continued unchecked, I believe shit happens because the just standby, we cannot anymore. The meek and weak need to be protected, to create a better world for us all. We are and have god within us, the love we have for each other cannot be put aside with religious beliefs that allow abuse of our fellow man and children. I pray the world will now change to the eden it was always supposed to be. ❤️🙏

      It does feel lonely.
But I also have come to realize we are called to stand with Jesus, even when it appears almost everyone has abandoned Him. Mary never abandoned Her Son and neither did John, His faithful Apostle.
But it requires heroic faith, which can only be acquired from God Himself through humbly asking for it.
I am a brand new Catholic and I am stunned by how few Catholics actually believe what The Church teaches.
We are not alone. The Father, Son and Holy Spirit are with those who hear His voice and obey.

“But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks intently at his natural face in a mirror. For he looks at himself and goes away and at once forgets what he was like. But the one who looks into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and perseveres, being no hearer who forgets but a doer who acts, he will be blessed in his doing.
If anyone thinks he is religious and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his heart, this person’s religion is worthless. Religion that is pure and undefiled before God the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world.”

How ironic when a genocide was perpetrated against the Jews less than 100 years ago that many whose grandparents were victims are now perpetrators. Killing other people is wrong. Stealing other people's land is wrong. The state of Israel will not win in this genocide. The blood of the righteous dead cries out to our Father in heaven, and He hears. Zionism will fall.

A persecution which the media and governments ignored until it became too obvious. The American government has yet to acknowledge this Holocaust, though irrefutable evidence has been sent to them in the last couple of days.
Here is a quote from Martin Niemoller who spent 7 years in a concentration camp. He points out that we ourselves pay the consequences of not speaking up:
"First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out-
Because I was not a Socialist.
Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out-

A powerful video. I am an Islamic believer in Christ. A Muslim for a Jesus. This sounds crazy to most, but it's not. Jesus said he would be a stumbling block for all generations to come. He was right. Could it be that we all have him wrong? Jews hated him and killed him but today say he was a great Rabbi. A hypocritical belief. Christians venerate him so much they displace God with Jesus when it is Jesus himself who said he was the son of God created by God in the Virgin womb of Mary to bring a new covenant to men with God and the primary message to worship and love only the one true God, his father, with all our heart soul and mind. Jesus did not pray or do the will of himself. He did God's will. He said, not my will but yours be done Father. We venerate him, but should not replace God with him. And the Muslims, in their mission to redirect us all back from worshipping the created to worshipping the Creator, step perhaps one position too far, but with I believe pure and well meaning hearts to denounce the Jews for what they did to Jesus (Isa) and declare that God could not possibly have allowed his greatest prophet, the second Adam created by God himself immaculate inside Mary (Miriam), to die on the cross but instead substituted him at the last moment and took him up into heaven. Could we then all be somewhat wrong about Jesus? But who is closer to the truth. I don't know. Perhaps God wanted us to investigate this mystery during our life and to read his word and make a decision with a pure heart for ourselves. I believe in God's plan of salvation. I believe he implemented that plan in the manner of His choosing. And I love God for that as we should all love Him and our brothers and sisters on this Earth until one day we are called to give an account of how we interpreted all of this for our own lives. The Quran says that Muslims, Jews, Christians, the Sabians and all those who worship the one true God, will all find their reward in Heaven. And so could it be that God gave us his Word and freewill to study and follow it in the best way we can, and with the hope that if any disagreement arose between us, we would seek peace, love and understanding of each other without judgement? One day, we will know the answer. But for now, I see in Islam a group that is, like all others not without it's radicals, but one that believes in bowing down on our knees in purity of body, mind and heart, to worship and praise only God. The last Muslim prayer of each day, before bed, is the prayer of Isa, which is the name of Jesus in Arabic. We believe in his Virgin birth. We believe he will come again when God chooses to end this world and finally defeat Satan through him. We believe that God has implemented his plan for forgiveness if we will only chose God and do our best to live a worthy life like Jesus did. And so, can't we all just find peace with each other, stop condemning each other, and hold hands together looking up to what we all agree is the one true God? Be a bridge builder. Stop judging. Protect the defenseless. And pray everyday. Your life will change if you do. I've seen miracles happen, and "mountains" moved. You will too. God bless you all.

Jesus also said that "the Father and I are One." He claimed the Divine name for Himself: "Before Abraham was I AM." (John 8:58) "I Am" is the divine name God used when He revealed Himself to Moses in Exodus 3:14. But when Jesus speaks of being lesser than the Father He is speaking specifically about act of taking on a human nature (while still retaining his divinity, although in a hidden way) in order to show humans, among other things, how important humility is. This is explained by: " Though he was God,
he did not think of equality with God as something to cling to.Instead, he gave up his divine privileges; he took the humble position of a slave and was born as a human being. (Phil 2:6-7) After the resurrection the Son was lifted by the Father back to his former state of glory.
We know that nothing is greater than love, especially love for God. And we know that we can love only because God has given us the ability to love, who is Love itself (1 John 4:8). And so if God is love there has to in God an communion, because God is not a narcissist, but a community: The Father loves the Son, and the Son loves the Father, and the Holy Spirit is the movement of self giving between them. This is the essence of God - there has to be more than one person if God is to be love. God is still One in substance, but there are three persons in that substance.
