I will not be silent and keep singing as Jews are persecuted, and others are persecuted all over the world! We can pray for our enemies and try to love our enemies like Jesus, but we must stand up to evil and at least condemn it and try to help those who are experiencing it firsthand!

I am a religious Brother living in a community that completely ignores the Abortion Holocaust going on at a Planned Parenthood down the street. I have been a prolife sidewalk counselor most years since 1990, but I am the only one who goes out there among us. Worse, I must do it in secret, on my free time, never telling my community about it, and hoping they will never drive by and see me. And I must do it not in my cassock, because I was forbidden to do so after wearing it for a similar event (praying outside a church conducting a vax event, on my vacation no less). I was told by a good priest I do not have to have permission to go on my free time to the mill, however. So that is what I do, carrying a large enough Crucifix that it may be seen inside. For years I fell into do-nothingness like the rest, even after decades of prolife work. This began because I was given a legitimate order to focus on my studies in formation. But then covid came and things were shut down and I fell into complacency, long after my studies ended. I did go to the PP, but only once in a while. Well, no more. I am returning to what I used to do weekly. I have been to the PP to pray three times in the last 10 days. God forgive me for letting it go and becoming like the others for so long. But now, I'm back. And I am ashamed and angry that my Community does NOTHING. That mill has existed for 20 years. That means possibly more than 60,000 dead, of you go by the average number of murders a mill commits every week. Over 60,000 deaths, virtually ignored. And now, to make matters worse, my Community wants me to change from the Christian health sharing ministry to a regular, abortion-supporting insurance pool, and all because they have OPENLY admitted they are more concerned about money than the killings. They value money over human life. They are a church that "sings a little louder". They are good people in many ways, but on this and the insurance issue, I am ashamed of my Community.

We look at this video and think about how despicable their behavior was. Being silent when such evil is happening around them. Well, how are we behaving today, in the light of the evil that is being normalized in our society? We need to speak up while we still can. We may all lose that freedom completely soon.

This is why I have been in anguish for the family and the church at large for 3 years straight. I feel like this every Sunday. The preacher chooses platitudes to speak while we know that image-bearers are bearing the daily disintegration of human dignity. We need time to glorify God together in worship regardless, true. However, the hireling shepherd will not lead us to our role as light and salt, and so we just sing a little louder and run away to our paneled houses while the temple of God lies in ruins (Haggai 1). We ought be the purifiers of that which is corrupted;at the very least let our good works so shine so that our Lord is glorified. Even the darkness skitters from the light, not wanting to be revealed. If we agree with an evil, woe is us. But what of our complacency to such an evil? Cannot our shepherds teach the congregation concerning the present deception and lead us to speak the truth in love, boldly and not fearing?
