I'd buy all of your merch, but I don't have money. All I have is 7 dollars in my phone case. ʕ´• ᴥ•̥`ʔ
LesleytheBirdNerd what is the date of the 2 part woodpecker story??? I was trying to watch it but I can’t find it now
LesleytheBirdNerd how about nourishing and food feeders items for saving birds instead of pillow made out of feathers! Please and thanks you :)
Perfect chickadee music!! Delightful.
I like chickdees(◠‿・)-☆
Can't help but smile anytime a busy flock of chickadees swings through the forest.
A flock of chickadees came to our wedding 20 years ago!
The cute little Chickadees have always been a favorite of time! Thanks for sharing!
We love you crazy bird woman
thank you for a delightful video. Chickadees are year round fun, they love suet at the feeder!
My great grandmother who passed when I was a baby loved to feed chickadees so I am now feeding chickadees just because my great grandmother did.
I can remember my grandmother feeding them and whenever the bluejays would come around she would jump up out of her chair and clap her hands to chase them away she'd say;...go away you stealers ...this food is for the little ones...so everytime i see these cute lil creatures...it reminds me of her and her caring heart !
@@blueforest2927 Jays are coming to our feeding place recently too. Here in Germany, there lives a different eurasian variety (not quite so blue) of jay. Whenever they sense danger they screech and all the birds fly off at once. They only pick for flakes of oats that we lay out on the ground. The other birds don't mind them, except for blackbirds and sparrows that feed off the ground. On the other hand: We have a pair of great spotted woodpeckers that occupy the place for tits, nuthatches and sparrows. They sometimes eat for minutes and don't let the little guys feed.
@@blueforest2927 that's so kind of her and cute that she calls Jay's food stealers
think of the hundreds of generations of chickadees you guys fueled together!
let's go birding that comment made me feel so proud of myself thank you
Chickadees, to us: Adorable, industrious arboreal creatures.
Chickadees, to insects: Basically a flying Tyrannosaurus.
@Mary Smith me too Ms. Smith, food chain to the rescue
Love your Bird videos and your collaboration with Nikolas James make these videos very enjoyable to watch.
Gotta love chickadees !👍😃✌️
Thanks for the wonderful information about these cute little guys i have in abundance in my yard.
What Smart Birds they are and so Adorable and Cute Looking Too! :)
Chickadees are the sweetest little things. Occasionally while I'm putting out a new suet they'll look down at me from the branches and sing at me. Makes me feel like Snow White. Love those little guys!
What a sweet video you've put together Lesley. Chickadee's are my fav and I"ve been hand feeding and putting out their fav everyday to help them through this rather harsh Canadian winter. Thanks to you I now recognize the nut hatches & woodpeckers that love to follow them & get hand fed too.
Chickadees hold a special place in my heart because it was my mom's nickname for me. The sweetest birds ever, yet so brave and curious. They will stay on the feeder or come down from the trees to the feeders as I am scooping sunflower seeds in. I've had them land on my head to check out what I'm putting out for them to eat! Lol! And their song, I mean come on, how cute is that?!?! It's unmistakable!
Thanks Lesley! The information was great! I have always enjoyed the songs and sounds of the Chickadee!
I just love these tiny blessings so much. Wonderful and entertaining video. Thank you 😊.
Such beautiful little birds!
Thank you so much, Lesley. Your narration and insight to these little birds is a wonderful piece of innocence, a real balm in troubling times.
I love chickadees. I feed them and enjoy watching them. So cute! 😀
Chickadees are my favorite little birds and I just adore them and seeing this video only strengthens my affection for chickadees. Chickadees rock! Thanks for putting up this video.
Chickadees are one of my favorite birdies♡
Always a pleasure watching your bird videos.
Thank you
I can spend hours in the woods hanging out with my chickadee friends, and often do. Never a dull moment with these little guys around.
Perfect music for the video.
Who knew chickadees hoarded? We have always wondered what they were eating during those obvious gaps in their use of the feeder, during winter. This is instructive and brilliant and adorable.
I'm happy to see you did a video on Chickadees. Amazing smart, energetic little birds.
A member of their family you don't have that I have here in CT is the Tufted Titmouse. I love observing them and watching videos of them. Very vocal, along with having an attitude for dominating feeders as they scold Chickadees, Finches, and Sparrows, and even harassing squirrels like the way Jays harass Hawks.
Interesting fact I found out is that the Tit and Chickadee family is the third smartest bird family in the world.
Another great video, Leslie. Great photography. The new music in the intro and throughout is great too. Takes the videos to an new level.
This is by far my favorite backyard bird! When I whistle and put peanuts out Here they come! SO CUTE!!
My cat, Finney, LOVES your channel! So do I. Thank you!
Omg they are the cutest teeny little power houses!!! 💕❤️💕❤️
Enjoyed this video very much. Wonderful photography, interesting commentary and pleasant background music.
When we put up a new feeder it's ALWAYS the chickadees that find it first. I love to watch them fly. They're so agile and fast and always darting around.
Great video Lesley. I'm a fan of the Chickadees for sure. But love them little Junkos. Their tiny size, color and their song.
Great video. Thank you so much for all you do for them.
One of my favorites! I Love these amazing little birds! Thank You Kindly! DaveyJO in Pa.
Oh!! How they love sunflowers, scolding me when I go out to refill the feeder. Wonderful birds!
The chickadees around my parents' home are so cute. They will fly all around the eaves in the autumn and winter looking for any spiders or bugs that have crawled up there to get out of the elements.
My mom also hangs a suet feeder off a window on the second floor of their house. This lets us see the chickadees feeding their babies in the late spring and early summer.
Shirts look cute, about nourishing items for birds and or feeders!
Little bird
BIG mouth
😍
They were my mom's favorite bird. Now the family I have living here makes me think of her every day.
Aww that's sweet ♥️
The picillo sounding instrument was great for birding and likely attracted quite a few chickadees! Johann Strauss might be nice during times when NJ was unavailable. Rimsky-Korsakov too.
My favorite bird! Love them sooooo much!
This was wonderful. Thank you for all the time, effort and information you put into your videos for the rest of us to enjoy.
I have always loved chickadees Lesley, but never knew that much about them. Thanks as always for your beautiful filming and fascinating fun facts. 👍
You are quite welcome :)
Lovely video as always Lesley! Thank you for sharing it with us!💖👌👍😎JP
Cool video! We had a really cold snap here a few weeks ago, -41 Celsius with a windchill of -51 for about a solid week. Our usual Chickadees disappeared and weren't coming to the feeders. I feared that the cold temps had done them in. But, as soon as it warmed up they returned. Tough little birds, I can't even fathom being outside all day long in those temps!
They're so busy!!! They are super hard to photograph ❤
A snow covered paradise. I do love your videos.
Pretty lil birds! Thanks 4 the video.😍😘😘
Thank you for your videos and info. I live in florida and have been watching these beautiful chickadees come to my feeders, among others. I am happy to know more about them! They are truly a joy to watch.
True video art - awesome . Thank you so much 🦃 🦆 🦅🦢 🦚 🐦 🐤 💚☮
The Chestnut-backed and Black-capped Chickadees are a constant presence at the feeders in our back yard. I think only the Juncos out-number the Chickadees. Now I have a whole new appreciation for these little guys!
OK! We all should be feeling a little bit lazy after seeing these amazing tiny creatures at work!!! LOL!
I love your posts LTBN! I also adore chickadees. Their cuteness, their songs, the fact that they are sentinels for all birds, their friendliness with humans... did I mention cuteness?
They are my favorite!! There is something about their tiny bodies and mannerisms that make me adore them. I am fortunate enough to see many of them almost daily, with weather permitting. They feed along side many species at our feeder year round. I am always delighted to watch them.
In a little bird book I have, chickadees were described as having a "confiding" nature. That is such a good description!
Such a delightful video. The music suits the chickadees' whimsical nature perfectly. They're one of my favorite birds. So cute and fun to watch.
"Bundle of energy" aren't they cute?
Some of my favorite little birds! Great video!
They are very smart! I caught a few trying to get into a nest of Robin eggs
These little guys are DEE-lightful ! Thanks Lesley! 🦋💗
Absolutely beautiful photography.
Excellent, whimsical, and informative! 👏🏼
Awesome and beautiful...video and bird.
Chickadees are my favourite, they're so cute. We had a nest in and old tree in our front garden, got to see the little chicks grow up which was awesome.
iv'e noticed that they always get really busy at the feeders 1 hrs. before sundown and first thing in the morning , Chickadees and Nuthatches are my favorites
Thank you Leslie ! The Chickadees are the first to greet me when I put food out for the birds. Their chatter is so cute... It warms my heart on these dreary days ! (As do your Videos ) Daniel C.
💖I adore these little angels
Chickadeees are so hilarious... I can only ever film them 2 seconds a time. 😂"Over here! No, over here! Over here! Over here!"
I really enjoyed this video!
They are some hyper animals
I just recently started paying attention to the birds around me and the chickadee is an amazing bird
wonderful photography and music
So beautiful bird, nice video thank you.
I love watching our chickidees and nuthatches that we've been feeding for years. We've watched them raise several broods and now 2 years ago Mr and Mrs Finch (a pair of House Finches) moved into the neighborhood and brightened things up with their frequent loud and beautiful chattery songs. There seems to be something about chickidees bringing in other small birds. We've even got several species of sparrows that frequent our feeders
Yes that is true the chickadees really do seem to bring in other birds. :)
Always enjoyable.
Another beautiful video, the best bird nerd on UA-cam☺️
Have a birdiful day🕊🐥🌤🐥🕊
lovely little birds. and very agile too.
Nice photography and videography Love watching it thanks for bringing to us
Yrs ago one of those little guys sat beside me while I was resting on a beautiful winter day in a small stand of pine.He would come and go landing just 2 or 3 feet away ...the little guy told me there were things in nature I had been overlooking. That was 40 odd yrs ago and I been feeding and paying attention to those little guys ever since .
Always informative. Always a pleasure to watch.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge of Chickadees, and other bird videos. It is very educational and gives viewers insights into the natural world.
I love watching them eat. I love this video.
When I was in 4th grade in Astoria Oregon, we had a big walnut tree in the backyard. I would watch the chickadees forage on that tree. They were so cute! I came running into the house and said to my mother mommy when I grow up I want to be a chickadee
You're the best! Thanks BirdNerd!!
They also feed on my various suet cages.
Well done. These videos just get better and better. We especially like it around here when the chickadee babies are out and about. They learn how to «chicka» pretty well, but for a while they just can't manage the «dee dee dee». :) Very entertaining.
Good one!! I love them, my home state State Bird ❤️
I wish you so much success, as a young woman in the field of ornithology, and in this on line presentation❣️Your short docs help me laugh and cry in the joy of these creatures of flight❣️ sorry the comments weren’t immediate, I’m a late arrival- your terrific
I just absolutely adore your videos! Please keep them coming! I just started birding a couple months ago and I can hardly think of anything anything else! Thanks for the inspiration! ❤🙏🙏🙏
Yesterday I stopped about ten feet from the feeder to look and talk to the Chickadees and one of them came and landed on my shoulder, was pretty cool
I thought I had seen a Nuthatch on the stump at the beginning of the video, they come around once a while at the feeder
Thanks again for the video
terrific music underlay (to say nothing of the videography)
Chickadees are some of my all time favorites... my Grandma's too ❤❤❤
Great footage of them gathering nest material 👍
Thanks Leslie👍 - Great video showing us the super energetic and cute little Chickadees.
Wish I had them in my area.
I never knew how they could lower their body temperature up to 15 degrees! - Stephanie
My dad and I built a new bird feeder this winter, and a few days ago I saw these busy birds paying it a visit, and managed to find out what they were by googling for their distinct head coloration. And now I just found this video, I'm so happy to learn more about them and it totally explains why they never seem to hold still at the feeder and instead always keep flitting to and fro. Thanks for making this, I'm going to share it with my dad and my sister and niece and nephews!
Can I just tell you that your video production has become amazing! You voice maintains an interesting quality that is very entertaining and relaxing. As always, your subject content has always been very interesting, entertaining, and informative. Thanks again for the great work!
I love Chickadees... we have two that come to our feeder, which I have named R2-D2 and BB-8... because that's what they sound like to me. So cute!!!
They look like little busy conttonballs adorable ☺️
Wow I just love all your videos ♥️
Chickadees are my favourite
