Gradient Mesh Inkscape | Sunset Sky

Mesh gradients are an amazing way to colour objects in Inkscape. In this tutorial, I introduce you to the Gradient Mesh tool which allows you to create a flexible mesh of coloured nodes with smooth gradients between. I’ll be showing you how to use all the features of the mesh tool, I’ll point out where you may encounter problems and show you how to avoid them. We’ll look at the standard rectangular mesh, conical meshes and something in-between.
By the end of this video, you’ll have a good working knowledge of all the features of the mesh tool and how to use them to achieve the results you want.
As an example, I’ll show you how you can create a sunset sky from a photo.
Whether you want to shade your art, paint beautiful skis or create abstract backgrounds, the Mesh Gradient tool could be exactly what you are looking for.
This effect works well for T-shirt designs, logos, banners and more.
In this tutorial, I’m using the latest version of Inkscape - Inkscape 1.2.2

Hi my mesh arrows donot point towards each other can you help me out?

When you click on a node the arrow handles should point towards the node not each other. so whichever node you click on the handles for that node will change to triangles. Hope that helps
