Hi Megan, lovely to see you and all your progress - some fabulous stitching as always. I may have had to add several of your planned Spring stitching to The List.... so thanks for that too.... 🙄 I hope Tarzan is happily settled and fully recovered, and that you are too. Happy stitching, Kim ❤
Love your Cricket Collection stitch. Especially now in Spring. I saw my first crocus on Monday when I was out walking and that same day I saw my first robin. Sigh of happiness. And now I'm cracking up because you made your pumpkins all sad to suit your mood. Too funny.
Thank you so much! I am really loving that stitch! And thank you for the well wishes for Tarzan. He is just like his adoption paperwork said: a good, but scared, boy ♥️♥️♥️
I love the variety of charts that you stitch. I will be praying for your kitty as I am a cat lover, myself. We have an all black cat for a couple of years that was a feral cat and she is so sweet.
Hi there! Thank you so much!! I appreciate the well wishes for our kitty. We have an all black cat that was feral too! She showed up nine years ago on Christmas, and has stayed ever since! We just love her! 🖤happy stitching!
Hi Megan! Poor Kitty … I hope he’s feeling better. I love that Orchid Lady. She’s pretty! Always love seeing what you’ve been working on! Happy stitching!🧵
Ohh, thank you! He does seem to be feeling a little better ♥️ fingers crossed he is back to normal sooner than later! 🤞 The Orchid Lady has been so nice to stitch. I never thought I would be a fancy lady stitcher, but they are really fun! I always look forward to your updates too!! Happy stitching! ♥️♥️♥️
I am working on Trellis Blackbirds this morning, one of your many stash enhancement influences, and was so glad to see a video by you. Always love to see your projects and purchases, happy stitching!
Hi there. I really like your shirt. The Halloween pillow your friend Ethel gifted you is so perfect. She is both a great stitcher and finisher. I hope the cat is feeling better.
Hi Nancy! Thank you so much! Yes, Ethel is a wonderful friend. I am very fortunate to have her in my life! ♥️Tarzan is feeling better, thank goodness! Happy stitching! ♥️
I always enjoy your videos, and your beautiful stitching and pattern choices. They are right up my alley. Lol I, too, am stitching spring and just handling the lovely colors is like a new lease on life, just like the actual feeling that spring brings us outside. Sorry your son's cat was so ill. Now that you've taken a second mortgage out to pay the bill, I'm glad he's on the mend. Sick pets are as bad as sick babies; they can't tell you what hurts and don't understand why they hurt. It's heart breaking to watch. He'll soon adjust and will love his new home; lucky cat.
Nice to see you again! I'm sorry your new cat has been sick. I haven't been to the emergency vet, but since this last summer there have been a few trips to the vet and medicine for one of our 13.5 year old cats. She's hanging in there but I don't think she'll ever be completely healthy again. Take care.
Tarzan is so lucky to have you looking out for him! God, I hate having to go to the emergency vet. I think I've been to every one in a thirty minute radius of my house, lol. I want to cry just thinking about it. And I'm like you, I just sit there and cry the whole friggin' time. I went to one once where it was just one giant room with everyone and all the animals in there, you could see everything. I was thankful that I could be with Dusty the whole time, but I saw way too much go down and was just a mess the whole time. ANYWAY, on to better things. :) I love your Long and Winding Road! I stitched that one years ago but my sister stole it from me! I keep thinking I should stitch it again for myself, but then I remember all the color changes. When did I get so lazy?! I'm happy to have spring here too. All of the birds are singing away these days and I love it. I always love a season change. ❤
I am so sorry to hear of the stress of Quinton's kitty. I had not heard of that malady before for a KitKat but I agree, its a super stressful experience. I have done the same, cried buckets! Glad all is better now!
Love all your projects. I had to stop and go find the black cat sampler. I found it at Country Stitches online. That will definitely be one of my starts soon. Thank you for taking your time to make this video.
Hi there! Even though I disliked the fabric, that black cat is going to be so cute when he is all finished up! I have a collection of primitively black cats, so he will be in good company 🖤 Happy stitching!! ♥️
Hey Megan! Your WIPs are looking great. I didn’t know that blueberry bowl is full of French knots- it’s so beautiful! Can’t wait to see the black cat finished, and I totally love the grumpy pumpkins. When is your birthday? I also turn 40 this year in September. 😊 Still haven’t decided how to celebrate with cross stitch. Happy stitching! -Leah
Hi lovie! Thank you! My birthday is in November, and I can’t decide how to celebrate with cross stitch either. Maybe four special new starts? I really don’t know. Let me know what you come up with. Or maybe we can celebrate in some way together? This feels like a big birthday! 😬😅hope all is well!! Big hugs and happy stitching!! ♥️♥️♥️
@@wideeyedstitchingchildI have a small sampler stitched by a girl in the 1700’s who shares my birthday, so I think I will celebrate with that start for sure! Otherwise I’ve always wanted to stitch half/part of something small and exchange it with a friend, then sew together. Would you be interested in that? I have a few of those swap ideas with charts from Threadwork Primitives or Subrosa Designs. Also considering starting Forever Young by Heartstring Samplery. 🤔😅 We should text!
If someone thinks you have already stitched something, should it count towards your finishes for the year?!? I think so!! 😂😂 it is a beautiful chart! I just have to find the r perfect fabric! ♥️Bug hugs to you!! 😘
Hi Dee! Thank you so much! ♥️♥️♥️unfortunately, the dates for the retreat did not work with my work schedule this year 😭😭😭fingers crossed for next year!! 🤞
Great tee! I had to laugh at the pumpkins expressions!
Thank you!! lol! I couldn’t help myself 😂😂😂
