Thanks again Celeste! The strawberry you made is fabulous!!!!! So sweet! I love watching you and all you stitch! Keep powering on with Rejoice Evermore. I can't wait for your finish!
Hi Celeste! I enjoyed your flosstube. I miss seeing you on zoom days with Laura. I know you are busy with homeschooling and life! You have some beautiful wips that are really coming along. Enjoy the Houston quilt show. I use to travel to Houston for the quilt show when I lived in Midland. I’ve been to the quilt show at least 4-5 times! I always came home with lots of new fabric and fun things! I so love the Texas flag on your sampler! Even though I live in Florida now I’m a Texan at heart! I lived in Texas almost my whole life- first in ElPaso then to Midland. Have fun and thank you for sharing! Happy stitching!
Celeste, I was delighted to see a new flosstube from you. I was dedicating an hour of stitching after lunch and went on You Tube to see what to watch and I watched you!!!!! I enjoyed every minute of it. It’s not cool here in central Texas either, but a front is promised in the wee hours of tomorrow morning and it should bring rain and cooler temps. I hate to see the close of October. It is perhaps my favorite month. Enjoy the quilt show! I got to go several times and loved it. I’m sure is it even more overwhelming now than it was years ago. Take care. Thanks for the prayers! Carol in Texas
You enabled me. I found two of those books that I could afford. I'll be looking for others in the collection, over time. Never saw them before. You got a great deal.
I’m a quilter who is coming back to cross stitch after a 30 year hiatus. I’ve been overdosing on floss tube and decided to jump back in. Your stitching is amazing ❤. I love your giant strawberry. I too do wool appliqué, needleturn appliqué, EPP…all the things. I told my sisters that I wasn’t going to add in any more hobbies. I also dabble in knitting, crochet and weaving. My mom and older sisters have taught me all the things. Technically, cross stitch is not a new hobby…it’s just being added back into the que. that’s my story and I’m sticking with it. Love your videos 😊
I did exactly the same thing with Consider the Lilies. Then I added in linen, which I had never stitched. Needless to say, it was a learning experience.
Loved your Maggie Mae, and Clovis will be super cute together. Your pink folder you made is absolutely gorgeous! Loved your books you purchased too! Happy stitching.
Another wonderful video! I liked the new view of your room. I signed the lease on my apartment last weekend and saw how small it is, so I'm now mentally rearranging furniture figuring out what I can keep and what will have to go. It helps to see other's sewing spaces. Your mother's sewing machine reminds me of the Kenmore I bought in the 70's that has cams for "fancy stitches" and still works.
The strawberry despite its size is pretty. I have been “collecting “ Need’l Love books as well. I have found many for little money and they are a wealth of inspiration. Your stitching is beautiful. I So appreciate your videos. Yes the Susan Branch books are another rabbit hole. I am older than you and got them years ago when they first came out. I’m a book person as well. Is such entertainment.
Celeste, you have enabled and inspired me. I plan to make the big strawberry after seeing yours. So cute. I'm working on Nettle and then will move on to Clovis and Maggie May. Always enjoy your floss tube.
Also, at our Michael's (in VA) there is a doll house in the unfinished wood section. It is maybe 18 inches tall..about $24.00 it opens up. It is so cute and could be a possible display for Maggie May and Clovis.
Hi 👋 Celeste. I really like the lighting. I love all the machines. I too just got an 1800’s singer crank machine. Lately it’s been about the collection and getting them all to sew. It’s #7 for me 😂 love the pocket pattern. Tiger Lily had a portfolio pattern I purchased last year. I’ve been wanting to try one. I’m loving antiquing and love book hunting! Who am I kidding any shopping besides groceries and I’m in! Lol have a happy fall. Thanks for sharing
Celeste, i love the idea of having some book illustrations to show. I order the lori holt bookstands and also have an old bookstand. I'm going to copy your idea. What a lovely idea.😊
Hi Celeste! I’m only a few min in had to quick message to say the lighting is really good and I love this orientation for your videos! Fun to change it up now and then ! Ok on to watching…..❤
I was moving stuff around and stepped away from my TV to put something away, stepped back into the room, sneezed violently, just in time for you to say, “God bless you!” 😆 I swear I thought we were zooming instead of YT. 😅
Always good to see your videos. I like your new space. Light and bright. Maybe on one of your next WHIPGO charts you could add one or two of your waiting to be completely finished stitches. By this time next year you could have a closet full of FFO’s. 🎉
I love your giant strawberry and love the project keeper that you made. Your wips are looking so great too. I always enjoy when you show books and the Edith Holden book you showed really caught my attention because I have a very old booklet filled with Edith Holden cross stitch patterns. It's all small nature scenes mostly of birds on branches and some florals as well. I haven't stitched any of those yet, but plan to in the future. Thank you for another great video.
@@CelesteCreates Hi Celeste, I emailed you pictures of the booklet. I hope the email goes through as I attached seven pictures. I'm not on Instagram, so email was the only option for me. Enjoy!
Wow, the strawberry is almost as big as your head! It's cute though and I love the top. I have some of those pamphlets. I need to dig them out and see if any of mine have cross stitch. I have used flannel as a background for larger wool stitching pieces. Saves a bit of $$. We don't have a lot of choices here for wool. Luckily my step sister is a rug hooker and has generously shared some of her hand dyed stash. Thanks for sharing your wonderful projects!
Lovely to see your book on the Edwardian Lady Edith Holden.I was wondering whether you were aware but on Amazon there are many other books on this topic including scrapbooking items and adult colouring book and even a lesson kit if you should wish to draw similarly..as well her biography can be found there
Thank you, Celeste, for a lovely flosstube.... It's just like a sweet visit with a friend!❤ That giant strawberry IS hilarious - and I love it! I'm still hoping to find the 'candy corn of mischief' chart - I emailed you about it a few weeks ago, and I wondered if you got the email. ? Have a blessed day and thank you for sharing all your stitchy projects.💗
