Persephone is holding a pomegranate. When she went to the underworld she was free to leave provided she didn’t eat any food whilst there. Hades tricked her and she ate pomegranate seeds so had has to spend a month in the underworld for every seed she ate and eating a few pomegranate seeds, Persephone tied herself to Hades the pomegranate being a symbol of the indissolubility of marriage.

No! Don't move away from that gorgeous scenery. Your lighting is fine and the stitching shows up nicely. I too saw the water ball in Life Support to resemble the earth. It was fun hearing your impression about the art piece. My son used to love the story of the Billy Goats Gruff too and would act it out on our walks.

It's called Vindreken, and I looked up it's the most painted in Norway, not Europe 😆 Yeah, it's tough in the beginning to stitch, but the key is - HELP! I get lots of support from my husband, but especially from his mom. Grandparents are handy to have around 😀 But even if not, prioritize self care, which includes stitching! And sleeping I guess 😅
Hi Meghan! Love seeing you again. Your sweater is so pretty. Your coffee mug sounds amazing and like something I need. Once the first cup or 2 are in, depending on how much Walter interrupts me on his days here, I am always drinking cold coffee. A thread a day is working well for making progress on Three Billy Goats Gruff. Does your daughter know it is for her? Love that you are able to get some stitching done. Wow, it sounds like you are definitely going to have your hands full in the next few months especially. Do you have to do a ton of schooling to get a better job or can you get by with a 1-2 year program to achieve that? How is Lukas doing otherwise? I bet he is getting so big now. He is close to 6 months old now right or already 6 months? Loved seeing your Together piece again. All your plans in honor of your upcoming 40th birthday sound like fun. It will be exciting seeing which projects you end up with as your final choices. Spring has been horrid here in Texas with the pollen. Seems like everyone is sick with allergy type issues. I had walking pneumonia, took 10 days of antibiotics, felt better for 2 days, got sick again, had bronchitis so another 10 days of a stronger antibiotic, didn't even get a full day of feeling better and am coughing and having tons of mucus so don't know if I am going to call my doctor again or what. I have so little energy. Taking care of Walter about wipes me out, and he really does not need that much physical care anymore since he is 3 but the chasing after him and toilet training are draining for me right now. He is definitely going through a defiant phase and this grandma is running low on patience right now. I am sure this phase will pass (although not soon enough) and who knows what new phase it will be replaced by. I love looking out your windows and enjoying the view while you are filming. Are you "used" to the view yet or are you still in awe of it? Looking forward to your next update. Happy stitching. Dawn in Texas
Hi Dawn! Yes, that cup is so convenient! My daughter does know it's for her, and she even helped me do a couple stitches! 🥰 Hoping to make a cross stitcher out of her 😉 Unfortunately I have to do a whole degree program, which is 4 years part time. I have a busy next 4 years! Lukas is doing well, thanks! He'll be 6 months on the 15th already! Ugh, sorry it's been a tough spring so far. I hope you feel better soon! It's such hard work looking after little ones. Hopefully the next stage is easier. I find with my daughter 4 is a lot more fun as she can play games I can actually enjoy doing and is much more independent, and asks questions all the time that I'm happy to answer 😊. Glad you like the view. It still relaxes me every time I look out the window, I hope it never gets old!
